original music shirts sale

I have no idea how long this sale will be going on for, but they have cool shirts based on song lyrics, and their models are pretty, so go knock yourself out. Admittedly, the 75% off tees are few and far betwee, but there are still quite large savings to be found.

free t-shirts at labyrinth clothing

Today only, to celebrate releasing their new line of tees (peep them in the gallery, rather nice), all the old Labyrinth Clothing tees are free (or 1c if you’re being picky). You pay for shipping, but come on, the tee itself is practically free, and that’s pretty amazing. Naturally, sizes and designs are going quick, so what are you waiting for? Go, go, go!

threadless sale

I didn’t see this one coming! To celebrate the launch of their Threadtour (which is going all over the US, though to be honest I’m not entirely sure what’s going down), Threadless are holding another $10 t-shirt sale ($30 hoodies), and so soon after the last one, how lucky are we? Just a short sale, but you can’t look a gifthorse in the mouth as they say.

Newton by Concrete Hermit

by Andy on June 30, 2010

newton t-shirt by concrete hermit

This tee is a re-issue of a design that Concrete Hermit first released in 2007. Back then it was only available on a black tee (as it also is today), but I think that the white version is a lot fresher and wearable, not to say that the balck version sucks, but it’s sunny out, so I’m in a lighter mood.

Deal Days of Summer at Random Objects

by Andy on June 30, 2010

randpm objects deal

Looks like it’s a big time for offering sales and deals, because they keep coming thick and fast. Random Objects are offering two t-shirts from their catalogue for $30, their tees run between $20-26 (though there is one design that’s already $15 by itself) so this is a good chance to make a saving. This deal will be running from now until July 6th.

seibei grab bag promo

Had a great weekend in Brussels, but the t-shirt world continues to turn in spite of my absense (shocking, right?) and I got sent a lot of e-mails about deals over the weekend, so instead of eeking them out over the day I’m just doing one megapost stuffed with enough deals to keep your wallet happy.

First deal is the Seibei grab bag promo, $13 for a random tee in your size and some other goodies, and if you order before July 9th you’ll be entered into a competition to win a hand-painted firgurine which David sculpted and cast himself, so it’s an unusual (one of a kind?) competition prize. Nice!

All tees from the wonderfully named Dripping In Fat are £10 for the summer, or at least until 1st September, I’m not sure if that’s officially the end of summer but that’s when this offer will be ending.

French streetwear brand Stereo Panda have got a big sale going on with up to 70% off some products. They usually aren’t the cheapest of brands so this is a good opportunity to pick them up on the cheap.

To be completely honest Parrotghost don’t sell my style of tee, but maybe they’re right up your alley, and they’re celebrating their relaunch with a buy one get one free offer from now until July 4th.

LTD Tee have got another box set on sale for $26.99 from now until July 4th, but you can get 15% off that price with the coupon code hideyourarms

One of the newer advertisers on HYA, Summerjunk, are offering a free ‘swan’ tee with every purchase on their site, pretty cool, huh? The deal will br running for about a month, and details are here.

LadyUmbrella are another tee company getting in on World Cup tee fever. They’re offering 25% off everything in their store (and free shipping!) as long as Spain are in the World Cup with the coupon code fiesta25. They’re playing Portugal tonight, and whilst I feel like they have the edge you never know, so this coupon might be expiring pretty soon!

Fancy an Urban Outiftters coupon code? I thought you might. Use the code SUMMER15 to get 15% off at Urban Outiftters from now until July 5th, there’s quite a lot of restrictions on the code, but if you’re buying clothing from them (online), then the code should work. As you can tell from the grpaihc they’ve also got a sale going on, though I don’t think that sale items can have the 15% coupon code applied to them. Still, cheaper clothes!

3 tee for $33 at The Onion’s Store, a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Use the coupon code 3FOR33 to receive the discount.

Bienvenue a Bruxelles!

by Andy on June 25, 2010

atomium in Brussels

As you read this I will be in Brussels, it’s safe to presume I will have a (strong) Belgian beer in my hand, and will be getting down to the serious work of hanging out with this guy. No posts this weekend, possibly some on Monday if I can find the time, but things should be back to normal on Tuesday, when I’ll hopefully be putting up the HYA tee misprints on sale for a ridiculous price (I’m thinking $10 with shipping anywhere, the printing errors are tiny, and there’s a small and a couple of mediums, which are the two sizes I’m sold out of) and dropping more tee news than you guys can possibly handle.

Whilst I’ve got you, may I remind you that if you aren’t following me on Twitter, or liking HYA on Facebook, you probably should be. On twitter you will receive updates every time a new post goes live on the site, random chatter from me (but no Twitpics after an unfortunate situation where my iPhone made friends with some water), and quite a lof of t-shirt news and deals that don’t make it onto the site, such as flash sales that only last for a few hours, and previews of new designs from companies, basically, I follow lots of t-shirt brands so that you don’t have to. The Facebook fan page is getting close to the magic 1000 fans, and those people get to hear about site news and sales when I think they’re big enough to be mentioned, t-shirt brands are also encouraged to leave messages about their brands too. I don’t want to spam up your newsfeed though, so I don’t want to put status updates on there too often.

jermain defoe sturban clothing streetwear

Quite a cool little promotion this, Sturban Clothing have got a big sale going on, every item in the store has a decent percentage off, but only until England play Germany on Sunday, so have a nose around and see if anything takes your fancy at Sturban, but be quick getting your order in, and remember that they have free shipping worldwide, so what you see is what you pay.

KILL. by Kill Brand

by Andy on June 25, 2010

kill t-shirt

I’m not usually into aggressive tees, but somehow, despite this having the word ‘kill’ on it in massive letters, I don’t feel that it is particularly agressive, and there isn’t even a huge amount to like about it because it’s so simple, and yet I think it’s a really wearable tee. As you can probably tell, I like this, but I don’t really know what to say about it, readers, review this tee for me!

$10 tee sale

by Andy on June 25, 2010

seventh ink t-shirt sale

The HYA tees sale may now be over since England miraculously beating Slovenia (one of the smallest nations to ever be represented at a World Cup), but that doesn’t mean there are no more cheap tees to be had, there are $10 shirts available at Seventh Ink. I believe the shirts are on clearance because I’ve been told “once they’re gone they’ll be gone forever!” With that being the case, your mileage may vary when it comes to sizing and avilability.

bo from loving this tee can screenprint!

You may or may have heard of Bo/dunz0 from Loving This Tee, a t-shirt blogger who in her own words just “blogs when she feels like it.” Well, she recently took on an internship at Tilteed, one of the better design competitions to arrive on the scene in the past year, and is now doing a weekly column documenting her experiences. Is she blogging about it on her own site? Heck no! The C-unit, as no one calls him, or Coty Gonzales to humans, has recruited her to his blog, and she’ll be writing a weekly column there. It’s an interesting read to people like me that are obsessed with tees like I am, and probably interesting to normal folks too!

plan 9 from outer space glow in the dark t-shirt by malgusto

I first mentioned Malgusto a couple of weeks ago, so regular readers will be well aware that they’re the latest movie-shirt company on the block (or lot, if you’d rather), and they said they’d be releasing more designs, but I didn’t expect them to be back so soon.

I think that their choices for movie inspiration go between “oh yeah that makes sense” and “what’s that now?” The ‘normal’ tee this time around is based on Robocop, which I’m sure some of you are interested in, but the interesting part for me is the other movie they’ve used as the basis for a design is Plan 9 From Outer Space, and I think that’s pretty amazing. If you’ve ever seen or heard of Plan 9 From Outer Space then you’ll know why I think it’s amazing… because it’s the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my life, and the only reason why I watched it was because I’d heard it was the worst film of all time and it lived up to the hype. It’s utterly woeful, one of those strange films that is so bad that it actually makes a lot of sense to make a t-shirt about it, and it makes even more sense to use glow in the dark ink on it!

Oh, and you can still get 10% off with the coupon code HIDEYOURARMS.

Post image for The tee with a tartan pocket by Second Son

When I first saw this tee I thought the pocket might just be printed on, which would be fun but overall a bit meh, so I was happy to see that the pocket is in fact real, and even has a little button on it! It’s not exactly cheap though…

Hey, look at this cool new design by Wotto heavyhand. crash wave photo t-shirt by CX City

You all know that I’ve got something of a soft spot for photo tees, when they’re done well and printed correctly they can be stunning, though it doesn’t take much to turn a great photo tee into a terrible one. Thankfully, this effort from CX City is pretty damn sweet, they’ve picked a great photo.
