Almost Famous was a film I really loved from my teens until a few years ago. I don’t hate it now, but I think it resonates a lot less with me now that I’ve grown up a bit, the story takes us from William being a kid totally in awe of his heroes as he walked amongst them to becoming his own man… whilst walking in awe amongst his heroes, and I’d like to think I’ve moved past that kind of musical hero worship for anyone other than Justice, because y’know, they’re awesome, and they make my hair stand on end even though I’ve played their album a hundred times.
