new GAMA GO t-shirts

For those keeping count that’s 24 new designs from GAMA GO up there, pretty huge release if you ask me. There’s some real lookers among the bunch too, including the shirt which has the illustration on it that we gave away a couple of weeks ago. There’s too many for me to delve in individually, but I can practically guarantee that you’ll find something you like over there if you check out their new stuff.

Tilteed: Mouse playground

by randyotter on August 31, 2011

Mouse playground

We have something a little different with today’s piece from tobefonseca I am not sure I have seen Tilteed take on something like this in the past, I would really love to see how the print comes out. The image is rather cute and a sure buy for many cat lovers, the little characters have an interesting Moleskine sketchbook vibe to them that really works against the grey tone kitty. The shadow under the cat seems a little heavy but thats a minor issue and probably helps to ground the piece a little better, either way it is a fresh piece for tilteed so get buying!

Tilteed: Baconoctopus

by randyotter on August 31, 2011

Baconoctopus

You only have 6 hours left to pick up the latest tee by Theinfinityloop .This has to be one of the weirdest mashups I have seen in a long time, I mean bacon and octopuses? I am a little scared and a little hungry in equal measure. The colours pop nicely and the more subtle frying pan ensures the character stays the main focus of the tee with all the necessary details without over doing it.

“Bear Hug” t-shirt at Nowhere Bad

by Andy on August 31, 2011

bear hug t-shirt

Can’t say that I’m really a fan of this design, I don’t like the look of the question mark being thin when the rest of the lettering is so thick.

$12 for the next 4 days at Nowhere Bad.

lord of the rings disney t-shirt

Is The Yetee a new site? I haven’t heard anything about them but saw this shirt on Reddit, where it was pointed out that having “The Happiest Place in Middle Earth” written underneath the Disney-esque logo would have made more sense than ‘one does not simply walk in’ and I would tend to agree with them.

$11 today at The Yetee.

sea chariot horse t-shirt shirt.woot

Based on my personal taste alone I wouldn’t really want to wear this shirt, but I can appreciate that the artwork is really cool, and the use of metallic ink on it is pretty interesting too.

music DJ t-shirt

For a change I’m not that into Loviu‘s daily shirt, though it’s entirely possible that the printed version would be really wearable, the mockup just isn’t exciting me. The idea ofa Loviu 40% off coupon code is pretty exciting though, use the code BACKTOSCHOOL40 between now and September 4th (Sunday) to receive that huge discount on your order.

dalek doctor who t-shirt

I’m sure that Doctor Who designs weren’t this popular even a year ago, that show really has exploded in popularity (with a lot of that growth coming in the US).

firefly serentiy t-shirt

I’ve pointed out numerous times when Firefly shirts turn up on the daily shirt sites that I haven’t actually seen the show and that I should probably do something to rectify that. I haven’t mentioned though that I have seen Serenity, so I’m not entirely clueless about the show, and the more tees I see the more I learn (I clearly have a very strange learning process).

$10 today at TeeFury

portal 2 keep calm and carry on t-shirt

80sTees could really do with getting a more attractive mockup, I can’t believe their shirts are shaped like this, it’s ruining what is otherwise a really cool design.

robocop mr. t t-shirt by glennz

Not often that I post a yellow t-shirt, not that I have anything against them, they just don’t seem to be the canvas of choice for a lot of designers. Having said that, I should probably describe this Glennz design as ‘gold’ rather than ‘yellow’, especially considering the pop culture icon featured on it.

Costiness=$19.95 Buy it at Glennz

New Dopeness from 8-Bit Zombie!!!!!

by Jeremiah on August 30, 2011

beetlejuice t-shirt at 8-bit Zombie

Do you love 80’s movies like Beetlejuice, The Labryrinth, The Never Ending Story, Ghostbusters and The Breakfast Club? Do you also love zombies? Well then you are in luck. 8-Bit Zombie has a new line out and it couldn’t be more amazing. I watched all those movies and more when I was growing up, and now to combine them with my new love of t-shirts is awesome. All the shirts are printed on American Apparel  and feature top quality illustrated art. There are even some tank versions of some of the designs. Prices range from $18 – $20, very reasonable in my opinion. Check them out here.

Design By Hümans: Aug 22nd – 26th

by Matt on August 30, 2011

I think this is Francis Arcega’s (Studio8Worx) second win at DBH, but the new layout is a little confusing for that information. Anyway, I like the concept and contrast on this shirt, as well as the placement. I’m not the biggest fan of red shirts, but this one definitely works well.

I love this design and it’s title. “The Cloud Maker” is Santiago Sarquis’ (metalsan) first win at DBH. I love the flow and surrealism of this piece.  I think I like the girls version on light yellow a little more, but the guys on white is still awesome.

This first print from SilentOp is very well executed. I like the depth of the design, from the water in the foreground to the moon, stars and galaxy in the distance. And the colors are just right.

I really like “The Cloud Maker”…but I think this one takes the (cup)cake for my favorite design of the week. What could be better than a Velociraptor holding a cupcake on a t-shirt? Not much, if you ask me. And to top it all off, because of the Dark Chocolate blank, the cupcake looks like one of the Red Velvet variety, which happens to be my favorite. Congrats to herky on a awesome first print!

So this is the first shirt from the Tee G.I.F series that DBH said they were starting last week. “DBH Logo Series – Feather” comes to us from zerobriant, a great designer that’s been making his path through the t-shirt world recently. I’m not usually into wearing logo/brand shirts, but if I was going to wear anyone’s logo, it would definitely be DBH’s. I’m excited to see what comes of these Friday shirts and the DBH Logo Series.

hide your arms coupon code

I know that 3,000 isn’t a particularly poignant milestone, but I think that’s it’s pretty cool that there are so many people out there that are willing to click on a little box to say that they like this website I’ve been running (largely on my own) for the past five and a bit years. Thanks everyone, I truly do appreciate it.

To say thanks in a way that means something to you and not just me, I’ve set up the coupon code of AWWWYEAH that will get you 30% off in the HYA store. I’ve never publicly released a 30% off coupon code, and I can’t see myself ever releasing anything bigger than that, so now is a great opportunity to pick up Hide Your Arms goods at a their lowest prices ever. Clear me out, friends!

To keep things interesting, I’m letting you guys decide how long this coupon code will be active for. Go over to this Facebook post and give it a like, for every like that it gets I will keep the coupon alive for another day, so seven likes would give you a week to get your order in using the coupon code.

buffy the vampire slayer t-shirt

I think I’ve professed my love for Buffy (the show, and let’s be honest, the character too) in the past, so I was happy to see this shirt, even if it I don’t think that Sunnydale Lumber was an entity in the show, and you know how much I love it when a shirt goes ‘in world’ for a TV show.

From $10 today at RIPT.

portal t-shirt

Qwertee have called this shirt ‘I love science’ which I presume is because they don’t want the possibility of any law-related hassles, even though it is very obvious what they were going for with the design. Is it just me or is that kern a little bit tight on ‘science’?

£8 today and tomorrow at Qwertee.
