I’m partial to a few reprints thank you Threadless, don’t mind if I do! Really funky mix of concepts and colours in this selection , I reckon there will be something for everyone here! First though….
New Today tee from yesterday is Duck-Tiles : I’m Not Always Temperamental, Donald Duck by Joel Santana is a super iconic Disney character I completely understand why he is popular and this is a super well designed homage to the duck man.
Back Today tee form yesterday is Introduction to Molecular Bonding by Andy Pitts. It looks all sciencey and like a tee you would see on a cast member of the Big Bang Theory until you get up close and you see all the cheeky molecules drinking! The wee scamps! I also like the fact that this has been printed on Asphalt for guys and Silver for girls. I like a subtle difference between the sexes.
I have a soft spot for this reprint tee because I own it, it also kind creeps my daughter out. I was actually sent Zombie at Tiffany’s by Marion Cromb by mistake but it’s one of my favourite Threadless tees! Ooh it’s available in a tank too. Score.
I treated to myself to a hoodie with some Streetteam points at the back end of last year, I went for a white one called Juliet but I wish I had gone for the following one, The Beheading of Antoinette by Andy Wilhite is a genius concept for a zip up hoody!
The next tee I think is absolutely stunning but I’d be a bit concerned about the print quality since I’ve had a bit of bad experience with a recent Threadless purchase. I do think that the design of Her Hair by Federico Rodriguez Morice look amazing especially how the design dominates the whole reverse of the tee. Stunning.
Lastly for this blog, because it’s one of my favourite designs that I haven’t got round to getting yet. Historical Reconstitution by Vincent Bocognani is a ‘lifelike’ painting of Mario, Peach and Yoshi! Love it!
