Someone thinks it’s acceptable to sell a t-shirt with “Dewani Tours: Treat Your Wife to a Killer Holiday” written on it, in reference to Anni Dewani who was murdered in South Africa 18 months ago. Thankfully, the Express chose not to run a photo of the design.
The Kansas City Royals are running a t-shirt design contest, with the winning design being given to the first 10,000 fans through the gate to their August 14th game. The winner will receive 4 tickets to the game which isn’t the most amazing of prizes, but I’d imagine that if you’re a designer and a big Royals fan then it would be pretty cool to have your design worn by 10,000 fellow fans, and would probably be genuinely good local promotion for a freelancer to say they’ve designed for the Royals.

Polish model & attention seeker Natalia Siwiec wore this shirt to a game at the now-finished Euro Championships to make it clear that not everyone in Poland & the Ukraine is a football hooligan, after the former Arsenal & England defender Sol Campbell (who also had a few un-memorable games at my beloved NUFC) said that ethnic minorities shouldn’t travel to the games in case they came back in a coffin. There were some issues of racism at the tournament, but thankfully it was not as big of an issue as had been feared.
