Andy: I wanted to like this submission since Cheshire isn’t a million miles away from me, but unfortunately I just can’t, there’s a real lack of quality in the execution that is a concern to me. There’s not enough information being shown to make me understand what it is that’s happening with the brand to want to buy anything off them, I can’t find the Facebook page, and there’s no main site to bring everything together. It’s unfair to judge someone based on just having two designs ready, but that’s what has been put in front of me so it’s all I can see, and they aren’t my style, the Mickey Mouse hands thing has been done enough now and I don’t think that their name really needs to be on that design. The planet based design is an improvement though and suggests to me what this brand is meant to be all about, taking the term ‘third world’ and not making you think of undeveloped nations but rather other worlds in space. I shouldn’t need to infer these things though, they should be explained on their site, making potential customers ask questions and not get answers is a very good way to not make a sale. Like I say, it’s almost unfair to judge someone based on two designs, but at the moment I think these guys have a long way to go, it feels like there are a few elements to them that are missing at the moment, but that with some hard work and putting it all together then there’s nothing to stop them being successful.
