Many new brands seek to be the voice of their generation, but Rushn Red simply seeks to encourage people to actually live life. Through their designs and ultimately your fashion choices, Rushn Red wants individuals to live life to the fullest at all times and rather than fear change, embrace it. They have opted to make their signature color and of course name to be ‘RED’ because its sends a strong message about one’s personal convictions and their willingness to stand by them. Their mantra is “Live, Love, Learn!”, which represent ‘Live every day to the fullest, love what you do, and learn something you did not know the day before!’
Andy: To be entirely frank, the designs aren’t for me, but that doesn’t really matter, there are lots of brands doing just fine without the Andy seal of approval. The website is pretty old school and not optimised well (e.g. thumbnail images on the store are merely scaled versions of full-size images, so you have to download a 3MB for each thumbnail, that means the men’s shop and women’s shop pages are 18mb each which is far too much) which could be off-putting to people that are used to seeing something more modern. It’s a weird contrast, they’ve clearly spend decent money having several designs printed in male and female styles, taken good photos of the products (which is my usual complaint with new brands) and then it’s let down a bit by the website, if they were to sort that out I’m sure that they’d see a lot more sales.
