I haven’t watched Rugrats for about 20 years but I still like that ‘Tommy Who’ design at BustedTees because it’s one of those rare designs, and original Doctor Who concept that I haven’t seen before. The Mario x Fear & Loathing design is really well done too. Solid week from BT!
Looks like Tshirt Laundry are keeping it topical this week with the impending release of the new Godzilla film (which actually looks pretty cool) and 24 to be back on TV screens soon too. Neither shirt is that exciting though, unfortunately.
We are a fashion company inspired by rebellious street culture on both domestic and international design. I really enjoy your website and its clean aesthetics and you pick out some great shirts. I was wondering how I could go about possibly being featured? I’m sure you’re very busy, here is the link to my store so if you like what you see, please let me know! www.artmoses.com Thanks for your time, I really hope to hear back from you”.
Thanks for your time,
Andy: Thanks for the submission!
Earlier in the month while I was away in Japan (which seems so long ago already) Seventh.Ink dropped this new design on tees and printed too. Cool design and fits with their usual style, perhaps not something I’d wear these days but I am well aware that my taste in tees has mellowed over the past few years. Here’s the details about the new items:
Shirts: Screen printed with water based inks on Lieutenant Green and New Silver from American Apparel. Custom printed tags and sleeve logos as well
Original Illustration: 11×14 archival inks on sketchbook paper, signed, framed, ready to hang
Steel Blue Screen Print: Two colors, 18×24 on Steel Blue 100# French paper, signed/numbered, limited to 40
Fuse Green Screen Print: Two colors, 18×24 on Fuse Green 100# French paper, signed/numbered, limited to 15
The original illustration has already gone, but the others are still available.
We’re used to Akomplice releasing really cool clothing, but it’s great to see themselves trying something different and getting involved with an orphanage in Brazil with the kids being involved with the design process. Here’s their press release about the project:
Akomplice’s roots in Brazil run deep. The brand’s latest philanthropic effort stems from their satellite office in South Brazil and is a testament to their investment in youth culture. For their impending capsule collection, Akomplice has partnered with Original Kids on a two piece collaborative t-shirt series. The capsule collection is Akomplice’s latest installment in a long lineage of philanthropy.
Rather than following the typical charity structure however, Akomplice brought the beneficiaries, in this case foster children in South Brazil into the creative framework. The children were presented with a pair of images and encouraged to add their own artistic interpretation through the medium of paint. The freshly reinterpreted images were then scanned, printed and emblazoned on a pair of truly unique t-shirts and crew necks. In addition to fostering creativity, Akomplice will donate 50% of the profits garnered from the capsule collection to same foster care children they tapped to collaborate. While Akomplice maintains a stronghold in hip-hop culture through their work with Raekwon & J Dilla and Joey Bada$$ it’s their unwavering commitment to philanthropy that sets them apart within the industry. This not the first time Akomplice has chosen to give back, it will not be the last. Look for the capsule collection to be available worldwide at Akomplice retailers and will hit the Akomplice webstore Saturday, April 26th at 2:26PM EST.

T-shirts have never been bigger or better business, but in the rush to sell many companies have lost sight of that all-important factor: bringing pizzazz and surprise into all their designs and deliveries. Unrestricted Swag isn’t just another clothing company. The company believes in an ethos of making everything in life a unique experience, whether it’s a t-shirt or an exciting road trip. This is the brand for all people from all walks of life looking forward to collecting and trying new things and gaining new experiences. They are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for their next 2 limited edition sets G3 (Guns, Gas Mask, and Grenades-Survival Edition) and Zombie Apocalypse. They are pulling out their 7 Deadly Sins line for this campaign and need your support. You can support and get a cool t-shirt at the same time.
Andy: They’re not my style, but there’s not really a lot wrong with these.
I like the hunger design, but I don’t know if I’d wear it as a shirt, know what I mean?
Tees are $15 in their first week going up to $20 from Monday at Snorg.

Threads for US is a t-shirt company with a simple business model. With every shirt sold, we make another one that is the same style and design on a youth shirt and donate it to a child in need, in America. Not only are the shirts donated to children in the US, but they are also made and printed here as well. We aim to empower kids of all ages by providing them with high quality clothing with style.
We encourage you to visit our website and our social-media sites!
Shirts are currently for sale on our Indie Go-Go!
Andy: Very nice idea and some cool designs, good luck to them!
Tshirt Laundry are forever having sales, aren’t they? They’re so frequent that it seems almost silly to ever buy something from them at full price.
Extracurricular Activities started as a way for Concept artists in film, Victoria Ying and Michael Yamada to explore their artwork in a personal way. They began by printing books and prints, and have now expanded into doing tee shirts for adults and kids! Their philosophy is “Design for Fun, Design for All” and they reflect their family friendly personalities with their tees.
Andy: Very nicely done indeed, thanks for the submission.
