Colter Co. t-shirt launch

by Andy on November 26, 2015

Driven by a love of all things outdoors, Colter Co. is launching a line of t-shirts. Show off your mountain man inner child, even if you’re stuck in the office. Printed in Portland Oregon on premium quality Bella + Canvas tees. Discharge printing is used to keep the shirts super soft.

Andy: I think this is the first time that I’ve had a submission from a primarily fishing based brand! Not really for me personally, but it is cool to see something different and I can see them being popular with fishermen (and people that buy them gifts) who are after something a bit more tastefully designed than I’d usually expect from a fishing t-shirt.

Vyntage Cash ~ Drip Carolina

by Andy on November 26, 2015

The one that says it all.

Andy: There were other pics attached to this submission but there must have been some error when they uploaded because they won’t display, and I can’t find the images on their site. Still, you can get a decent idea of the design from that one image.

CLICKGEARCLOTHINGltd is a brand is about photographers. I have been a photographer for over a decade and just wanted something a little bit different out of my “photographer” tees. I couldn’t really find anything that fit my style or who I am as a photographer and a person so I decided to make just one shirt for me. Almost a year later I am head deep in doing something that I feel really good about and love. The week we launched I posted here and thanks to Andy, in less than a paragraph my mind was blown. Thanks dude.

Here is a coupon code: “HYA” for 20% off through 12/31/15

Andy: Great to see these guys come back with much improved presentation after their last submission, I can really get more of a feel for what they’re about now.

Sever Apparel $20 tees now until christmas

by Andy on November 20, 2015

Sever Apparel is horror/tattoo inspired apparel. We are based out of Maskwacis, Alberta, Canada and have just recently launched in July. From now until Christmas get your Sever Apparel tees for only $20 :)

Andy: The style doesn’t appeal to me personally, but I can certainly appreciate the skill that goes into creating something like this.

We here at CoLab. Printing love the outdoors! Like a ton. When we aren’t out hiking, backpacking, climbing or doing anything that involves nature we are printing some sweet tees and sweatshirts that talk about how much we love being outside.
We are super excited as sweatshirts have been a new edition this year to our storefront. They’re super comfy. Like seriously, we love them and you will too!
Use the promo code “SWEATERWEATHER” through Feb 26th (cause why not?!) for 20% any sweater on our site (or Etsy page).

P.S. Thanks Andy!!!

Andy: I would wear all of these, really like the designs and well presented on the site too. Two thumbs up!

Bad tshirts for bad people

by Andy on November 19, 2015

These are baaaaad visuals from a french frog! Only black drawings on white or grey tshirts, here you can find rock stars beside black humor visuals. All of these are 100% bio cotton tshirts, made in France, and available from my shop on Etsy.

Andy: I’m usually not a fan of white shirts, but the artwork on these are great.

The Waterfall Tee on Cotton Bureau

by Andy on November 19, 2015

I moonlight as a designer and illustrator while working construction 4 days a week. It’s pretty hard to stay psyched sometimes but I recently found out about Cotton Bureau. These guys are a legit t-shirt store that give designers the opportunity to sell as many shirts as possible in 14 days. The shirts are high quality, ridiculously nice screen prints! The only catch is you’ve got to sell at least 12 to get the design to print.

I’ve got my first shirt up at Cotton Bureau right now. I’d be incredibly thankful for any support I can get!

It’s only there for a very limited time so check it out soon.

Andy: At the time of posting he’s up to 22 sold so these tees will be getting produced. It’s a simple design but I like it, and you’ve got 6 days left if you want to get in on this sale.

Color Blind

by Andy on November 19, 2015

Here is art with a message. If only we can see things through a color blind heart, the world would be beyond the levels of beauty that it has achieved. check out Finley93 where art is purpose filled.

Andy: How am I even meant to talk about something that looks like this without coming off as rude? I can only hope that they haven’t invested too much money into this line because I think it’s very unlikely that designs like this can be successful (except perhaps outside of a friend/family group) on a wider scale when there are people offering much more attractive and polished products and site experiences for the same price or less.

Say ost

by Andy on November 18, 2015

Priest. Grevé. Or a deck thick slice of good old juicy manorhouse. You know. Cheese is tasty. Simple. And tidy. Clothing brand Ost is focusing on stylish t-shirts. See it as an extension of the dairy. An homage to the cows. Ost was created by Joakim Gerhardsson in the spring of 2015. Ost is the Swedish word for – you guessed it right – cheese.

Andy: As usual I wish the the submitted images were real rather than mockups, but these designs are rather charming.

Lets get faded

For those times when you are and just can’t say it.

Andy: Cool promo shots!

Teeframed – T-shirts for Animators

by Andy on November 17, 2015

Teeframed just launched today! This store is aimed at animators and video editors. As with any profession, there are many phrases in the animation world that don’t make a whole lot of sense to the rest of the world. Teeframed takes these phrases and imagines what it might look like if they were the names of companies, and what those companies would do — Gimbal Locke Strategists, Easy Easy Moving Company, Squash ‘N’ Stretch Training Facility, etc.

The brand launches with five shirts in their collection, but many more are in the works and will be available soon.

Andy: I hate it when companies mention that they just launched today in their submission, because with Rigu being my main focus now it means I will almost never post their submission on the same day as receipt, and then I feel bad when it’s more than a week until I actually post it. Good designs though!

I’d like to share our special 15% discount code for pre ordering of our newest Tees (and anything else in the store).

Our two latest tracks are a remix of our best selling Pi T shirt and our own take on the classic 45 rpm record adapter t shirt.

I recently heard of the origins of the 45 rpm record adaptor, which explains why, growing up, it was only needed on the reggae singles in my house.

Apparently, in the early days, DJ’s in Jamaica would need to turn records over quickly, attempting to keep the tempo and the party going. However, the size of the centre hole made this awkward and time consuming, especially in low light. They decided to punch out a larger hole in the 45s and add a spindle to the turntable, so that the record, with minimum interruption, could easily be flipped over with one hand, whilst still holding the microphone in the other. The record labels eventually began to manufacture all 7 inch singles without the centre piece and the RCA Corporation introduced the plastic snap-in Spider adaptor to fill in the gap. There it is.

Andy: Thanks for the submission!

Zen Cloud 9, a leader in women’s street wear, men’s street wear, and apparel, announced the launch of their Kickstarter campaign. The campaign aims to raise $12,000 for, printing apparel cost, retail quality tagging and packaging cost, completing the spring and summer look book, fees, cost of trade shows, advertising, and mass production.

With your help, the company will make Zen Cloud 9 a household name in high quality, unique clothing that stresses personality, love, and prosperity through clothing and lifestyle. Zen Cloud 9 clothing is made from material that is locally sourced and makes their clothing in the U.S.A.

“Today, there are a lot of clothing options that are made overseas and hold no real meaning. Zen Cloud 9 is aiming to change that. We believe we have the most unique clothing that will emphasize individuality, positivity, love, and prosperity. We are excited that with your help we can get our clothing and message out to the world.” stated Janea Aiken, public relations manager.

Zen Cloud 9 offers a wide range of clothing options. They offer women’s crop tops and V-neck shirts along with men’s crew neck and regular shirts. There are unisex options as well. Plus, they offer beanies and hoodies. The clothing has unique designs that reflect the company’s vision. The clothing has a distinct Japanese style that seems to represent the cultures belief in living in the moment. The clothing is available online only, and with your help, the campaign will help Zen Cloud 9 continue to produce clothing that makes a strong social, economic, and personal statement.

Andy: I like the designs, but I do think that $12,000 is a large amount to be going for with a clothing Kickstarter, and that large total puts of potential pledges because they see a large number and think it’s not going to happen, it’s a vicious cycle really. Good luck to them though because they do have some cool designs!
