I received a tshirt last week from Euan Gallacher of Type, a Scottish brand run by a talented graphic designer. It came with stickers and flyers (all beautifully designed) and in its own vacuum pack bag (like meat) which I was very impressed with, I have seen all manner of packaging but this was simple yet effective and assured me that the tshirt got to me in good condition.
The tshirt is Gildan Heavy Cotton, I wear a small and much prefer the fit of a small men’s shirt to a girl’s fitted tshirt, the design is striking, along with the rest of the designs on the Type shop (which can be seen here)
I am a sucker for brands that offer something a bit different like art, club nights or vinyl toys thrown into the mix and Type do stock a print but I think the brand could lean a lot more on the art aspect, as the designs are striking and would all make great prints!

I have recently received 2 tees from the guys over at Chronicles, printed on Guildan soft style tees, the inks are great and they wash really well. I like Chronicles for a few reasons, the girly girl in me LOVES the gold inks they use, the colour is brilliant and does not fade after washing.
Another reason i like Chronicles is the idea of a guy, in his shed, working hard to make tshirts because he is passionate about what he does, these are the sort of brands that i love to see succeeding!
Here i am at the Crooked Tongues BBQ @ The Queen Of Hoxton yesterday wearing my Chronicles Borderline Greatness tee, the Prints are simple but effective, for more info about Chronicles or to buy a tshirt check them out here
Chronicles Borderline tee available here price £12.00

This morning i received the A Better Tommorow X TUBOKOLOR collaboration Prophets tee to review, it arrived in a printed mail bag with a few free stickers which was a nice touch. The tshirt itself is impressive, the print is bold but not heavy and it is finished with a Tubokolor logo hemtag at the bottom.
the design for the tee by artist Swanski is beautifully drawn, I belive alot of care and thought have gone into this garment and as a fan of street art i am happy to see brands like ABT and TUBOKOLOR supporting artists and designers. The shirts are strictly limited so get them while you can!
Costs around £26.50 (29,90 Euro) available HERE
Front magazine model Arabella Drummond models Jilted Royalty womens JR logo tee, available in black & white and limited edition 1 of 50, the tshirt features the Jilted JR logo with a paisley bandanna style pattern, the mens version is a sellout so girls should grab theirs quick!
Jilted Royalty boss and owner Jay Read started out cutting and sewing clothes for himself and in 2008 started working on Jilted, of his brand Jay says;
“I move in many circles with many different types of people so my styles constantly changes and the lines i release will always reflect this”
With musicians like Example being fans of the brand, the only way is up for Jay Read and Jilted Royalty!
Since Treacle Clothing started printing graffiti tshirts in early 2010 they have released 14 t-shirts so far, as well as a couple of tote bags, sweaters and prints. There are a few things about Treacle Clothing that make them unique, the attention to detail throughout the range and its packaging to the hand finishing of the garments. Treacle print on carbon neutral, ethically sourced cotton garments that are hand finished and printed in the UK, here are a couple of my faves, I think we will be seeing a lot more from Treacle this year!
