I think that the reasoning behind this sale over at Split Reason is simply ‘just because’, I’m pretty sure it’s not normal to have a sale just because it’s Spring (which is has been for a while now, even if it hasn’t felt like it), but I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Wake.Live is an independent brand that is focused on solid, ethically made goods. The fine folks behind the brand were kind enough to send me one of their Not Alone tees to review, which is pretty exciting as this is my first review. From a quick look at their site, its obvious they have a real passion for what they do, which is something I always appreciate.
I was impressed with their work before I even opened the package. It is always nice to see brands go the extra mile with custom packaging, even if its as simple as printing their logo on the mailer. Included with the shirt were a handful of stickers and buttons. Extras like that are a nice touch as well, even if I generally never make use of them.
As for the shirt itself, I definitely enjoyed it. The design is executed well, although the concept doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me. It feels like its a lot of popular design elements that are combined into one composition. Especially the crown as it almost feels like an afterthought when the designer felt the top was too empty. Nothing inherently wrong with doing that, I just like when designs are a little more cohesive. The print and shirt itself are top notch though. The print is done with soft, water based inks which I vastly prefer to heavy, plastisol prints. They have a custom label printed in the shirt, which I always enjoy even if this particular one is a bit hard to read, so its hard to tell what brand they used, but the description on their site says its a 50/50 poly-cotton tee, which are very comfortable. The shirt also features a custom hem tag at the bottom which features the brand name. Another nice, subtle touch.
Overall I’d say I am definitely impressed with what I’ve seen from Wake.Live. They seem to really care about their product, which shows through their attention to detail in everything from their packaging to their website. I feel safe to say that if you purchased a shirt or two from them, you would be very satisfied.

I’m pretty sure that of all the t-shirt companies that I regularly write about Tshirt Laundry are the ones that need the smallest excuse to have a sale, and this is no expection. All tees are $15 until 18/4 and there’s no coupon needed.

The talented designer and Illustrator Jonathan Yonil Lax A.K.A. Yonil is currently having a massive clearance sale on his t-shirts. If you don’t know him already he creates illustrated t-shirts (amongst other things) that are surreal and textured. His designs commonly feature hand drawn creations that are just lovely. We have also reviewed some of his t-shirts before, as if you needed any more convincing that is!

Last week I was lucky enough to review a sample from MKNK Clothing! The tee arrived a pretty funky pizza box style packaging with some lovely cute freebies.
When I was first told about this site I hopped on their site to see what they were about. I enjoyed the site, it’s clean, crisp and bold and all their designs have a flow as if they are part of a cohesive collection.
The designs are all pretty cool, with gaming, music and they are all on white tees. I think it works because it makes the designs pop. The hoodies are on black and grey and they look awesome too. All the tees are guy fit but I’ve started just throwing them on with leggings, dead comfy! I particularly like this design called Bolt Dismay! All the designs are original, you won’t find anything like these anywhere else.
The quality of the tee I received was first class! It was an absolute joy to wear and I’m totally looking forward to wearing it in the summer with my bright yellow shorts! It also washed super well the print is still as perfect as it was pre wash.
MKNK have also have had some product shots done on models and they are very current and in touch with the young un’s of today. I would definitely be inclined to buy one of these tees or hoodies for my 16 year old brother and I know for a fact he would be happy to wear them.

This is an Easter-based discount from bsclly, and since it isn’t Easter anymore it’s probably not going to last much longer, but it was working when I checked a few hours ago (aka when I actually wrote this post). Please note that in the checkout phase you apply the coupon code there and then need to click continue to the next page to see that discount be applied to your total, it won’t update when you press ‘apply coupon’.
*UPDATE* I’ve been told that the code will last until April 8th, have at it!
