New Today for Wednesday Big Trouble in Little Japan by William Chua is a King Kong / Nintendo mash up which has been design in an old fashioned oriental style. Not something I would purchase myself but I understand the appeal of this tee.

The following tee is one I have blogged many a time, it seems to get reprinted on a very regular basis. I Got Another Whale by Chow Hon Lam is a tee which is literal but fantastic! I love the expression on the cat’s face.

Love the concept for Thursday’s newbie tee! Self Portrait by Nacho Diaz shows a heart painting a painting of himself exactly the way we do. Think this works well on the silver but may of also looked cute in pink in girly fit.

This following tee is one that is reprinted regularly. Off the Reservoir by Jonah Block pays homage to the cult movie classic Reservoir Dogs. The colours are fab in this tee and I love Mr Orange!

Last of the newbie tees this week, by far the best of the bunch and absolutely 100% on my WANT list is Fairytale Transfusion by John Tibbott, if this doesn’t sell out dead quick and be requested reprint super soon I will be surprised. I’ve blogged the most detailed image so you can read the design.

Lastly the final ‘Back Today’ of the week, Fail by Budi Satria Kwan shows a poor moo cow who hasn’t quite managed to jump of the moon, this design wins serious cuteness points for sure.

Sadly technology prevented me from blogging the sale as I would of liked to, however I am not back to normalish now. Just thought I’d briefly blog New Today / Back  Today and some of my favourite Made By tees!

New today yesterday is Halfling and Wizard by Cool Johnny is a Calvin and Hobbes and Lord of the Rings mash up. I don’t like anything about this tee personally but obviously it’s been voted high enough to get printed.

I love when a tee I own gets reprinted, TARDamask by Rosemary Travale is probably one of the best, if not THE best Doctor Who tee that has ever been printed on Threadless. The colour and design is fabulous. Here is a pic of me rocking the tee taken by Sam Corban.

You want a whale and a telephone combined! You got it Call Me, Ishmael by Jason St. Peter has done this awesome surreal design black on this gorgeous ‘Lake’ coloured tee! Kinda looks more petrol blue from where I am sitting.

Back today of today is The Guest by Ralph Pykee Lambaco is a cool monotone tee which has uber amounts of cute factor. I love this tee and there aren’t many black and white ones I rate because I have a rainbow soul!

The two designers being showcased this week are Phil Jones and Julia Sonmi Heglund. I am just going to blog my two favourites today and will hopefully slip some in later on in the week.

Of Phil Jones’ designs my personal favourite is probably WAKE, it’s a crazy explosion on the brain and the eyes.  I like nautical tees in general and this all over print is fabby!

I have NO idea how I haven’t seen this design by Julia Sonmi Heglund, The Venn of PB&J. It has jams, it has food with a face. it has everything a gal (or guy) could possibly need on a tee!

Denada (designs by Andreas Krapf, obviously one of my favorites) is now offering their new Lumberjack design on tees, tanks, and batwing style tops – great stuff!

So YAY! Threadless sale! So many tees I want to part with my pennies for too! It’s starting to brighten up outside surely this is the ideal time to acquire yourself some brand spanking new tees! Going to ramble about New/Back today first and then a few of my all time fave tees!

New Today and Captain Jack founder at Threadless just put on FB ‘New Favourite Tee?’ so I am guessing that he is a fan of it. Aptly named W.T.F? by Blair Sayer features a super creepy looking feline covered in plasters.

Back today, and a tee which I have a bit of a soft spot for Doctor-Hoo by Mallory Dyer shows different versions of Doctor Who but as owls. Very simple idea but Threadless fans seem to love Owls!

Here are some of my fave tees that I would acquire for myself in the sale! I adore  The Beach by Lim Heng Swee. It is basically what it sounds like, a very L.S. Lowry sort of feel. The effect of the sea on the lower half of the tee is simply perfection, I can’t think of a better way of seeing in the summer!

I adore food with a face, this is no secret, I have blogged it so many times! Toast by Vo Maria shows some super cute slices of bread sunbathing. Another super summery tee. This one makes me smile and I think it works so well in tank, as pictured at the top of this blog.

I really love the whimsical nature of the following tee, the design looks like an illustration from a children’s book. Water Balloons by Alex X. Zhang and Melanie Herring.  All the colours and everything are beautiful. Only available for gals but I don’t think it’s a particularly masculine Threadless resident.

Lastly for this sale blog, Sock Monkey Just Wants A Friend by Ronan Lynam has a sock monkey as King Kong. I really like the muted colours and the expression on the monkey’s face! Hope y’all have fun Threadless sale shopping! $9.99  tees grab them while you can!

Here we go! I hunted down my own company to review for Hide Your Arms. This company is called Culture Cloth, their website ‘http://culturecloth.com/‘ is currently under construction hopefully looking to launch in 33 days time! I actually discovered these guys in their Etsy Store which stocks a massive 191 items at the moment, massive selection of items in a selection of different colours.

My fiancé Nicholas is awesome modelling their ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ tee above. All their tees are available on a selection of colours and are made to order however I do feel that this design works particularly well on the yellow tee. The design takes over the whole chest area and the print actually get’s better as it’s washed. It’s not like an iron on transfer, it’s comfortable, bends and softens as it washes.

As mentioned before the selection of designs is epic, they have a massive collection of your favourite cinematic characters and musicians covered. Their ‘thing’, their gimmick is the nose of their designs is normally a different colour than you would expect.  This little original oddity is borne from the childhood of one of the company’s founders.

Nicholas also got this amazing Christian Bale American Psycho t-shirt on the white coloured tee. I adored this one, probably by far my favourite of the ones we received. It has a super expensive look about it and gets people’s attention. I am wearing an orange Willy Wonka tee. If I am honest I was a bit disappointed with the ones for me, they weren’t proper girly fit t-shirts, I basically got what felt to be a small guys tee. I don’t understand why tee companies would actively choose to only cater to 50% of the population. Guys tees on girls aren’t comfortable or flattering. Edited to say that you can get girly fit tees via their RedBubble store but I can’t review these as these aren’t what I received and I haven’t actually bought anything from RedBubble before.

I do sometimes find with guys tees you can save them and make them more feminine but with a lot of the ones from Culture Cloth a lot of the detail on the tee is at the bottom so if you tuck it in you’re affectively losing a third to half of the design. They have quite a few Star Wars designs my favourite of them is this Chewbacca one!

I do however adore the tee above, this Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffany’s tee has design placement perfect for tucking in, gorgeous vibrant blue tee and super colour print and amazingly created design. One of my favourite tees, doesn’t even bother me that it isn’t proper girly fit!

In my contact with the company owner he is super pleasant and I’d imagine the level of customer service is super high. I think they are probably better for gifts for guys or tees for guys though, although if you can get a nicely central placed design like the Audrey Hepburn one about they can be fantastic for girls too. You aren’t going to find a selection of tees like this anywhere else and perfect for hunting down an original tee from a niche movie or cult classic TV show.

New Today on Wednesday brought us 3 Cynics by Marko Vuleta-Djukanov, it looks like a crazy modern art poster, I love the mixed sized cats in their scarves and their tiny suspecting eyes!

Back today 8-BIT Vendetta by Alex Solis and Nathan W.Pyle is paying homage to the retro game Duck Hunt from the 80′s. I think this cool design with superbly drawn duck.

I like tees that have zebras on them, they beat Pandas to being my favourite black and white animal. Nature of Crime by Dewi Herawati is a great mix of the animal and ‘Police Line Do Not Cross’ tape, something about yellow and black together that really works for me.

Back today yesterday was the fantastical The Original Copycat by Budi Satria Kwan, easily one of the very best and more reprinted designs on Orange tees on Threadless.  I’d love to get this for my daughter, I think she’d find it both hilarious and cute.

A Few Of My Favourite Things by Reagan Lee is the New Today tee, seems like someone likes guitars. Not entirely sure what the appeal of this tee is, not only does it look like a High Street tee, it looks like a kid’s High Street tee. Not a fan.

Back today is an all important Charity tee, I feel the design pops more on the Girly Fit V Neck in Plum, 25% of sales from this tee will go to the DNA Foundation’s mission to end child sex slavery and human trafficking. This tee is Freed by Alex Solis.

Fair enough, the actual body on this hoodie from Hot Topic is fairly ho-hum (though the cuffs and high neck are pretty interesting), but I think we can all agree that the hood really sets it apart.

Couple of days worth of New Today / Back  Today for my Threadless blog today. Still taking me a while to get used to all of this! Hope you all had a magnificent Bank Holiday weekend!

Bank holiday New Today tee is ZOMBIE SURVIVALIST by Dan Hipp, a tee so urgent it needs to go in capital letters! I quite like the design, it has a very comic book feel only think I’m not so sure about is the choice to print it on a white tee.

Monday Back Today tee has a very simple concept, almost a High Street feel I think. I get the impression you couple probably pick something similar up in a shopping centre. Sunny Leo by Robert Farkas shows a lion wearing sunglasses. Cute colours though comes in a tank too! I love a tank!

This SO should of been printed at Easter time! I personally think that EGGsplosion by Monica Gifford would have worked much better on a yellow or lime green tee but the design is super sweet, would love to see this on a baby.

inksPIRATE by Brian Nur Afandi is the back today tee today, more capital letters, maybe it’s a Threadless this thing week. Quite like this design which shoes ink to octopus devouring a pirate ship. Basic colour palette and interesting design sometimes works best.

So I actually stumbled across this site when I was looking for a tee for my boyfriend, he has got a thing for one of Leonard’s tees in the Big Bang Theory which shows the different lunar phases of the moon.  This website indicates where you can buy items worn by the characters in the show and also tee’s which show the characters in the show like the one above.

Obviously there quite a few tee’s that are pretty easy to find. Sheldon especially tends to wear a lot of Comic based tees such as Aquaman, The Flash and Green Lantern which you can find on a lot of sites by doing a pretty simple search. A few of the tees are from 80′stees.com a site which I have used several times and I would recommend them highly. Of all the generic Sheldon tees, I particularly like this Batman Gradient one!

I think Sheldon’s Science based tees are probably the ones most desired by his adoring fans. It also makes a super cop out Halloween/Fancy dress costume to go to a party as Sheldon by simply buying one of these awesome tees!  This “Screens and Lenses Work Magic” tee from Thinker Clothing has a pretty awesome and intriguing design!

This tee I find to be a memorable one, I’d quite like this one for myself. Melting by Glennz Tees shows a melting Rubik’s cube, the rainbow of colours against the black tee works absolutely amazingly.

All the my favourite of Leonard’s tees are from Urban Outfitters and are all out of stock in all sizes, however this Periodic Table tee on Cafe Press is pretty good too!

I always enjoy the way Howard dresses, more men should dress like him. The only product that SheldonShirts.com links you to for howie is his belt buckles. Although after checking pretty much all of them are out of stock, sure you would be able to hunt down similar ones though.

Stylin’ Online is where you need to be for your Big Bang tees, massive selection, even more massive for guys of course (boo!). Have to give Raj a mention though, I adore his shellsuit tops! This Ladies Man tee made me giggle when I first saw it!

Can’t believe I totally missed Star Wars Day, hope all the Star Wars fans had an epic May the Fourth 2012.  I’m SO happy that Threadless have plenty of Star Wars tees up their sleeve! Here are some of my personal favourites.

I actually treated myself to Logical Conclusion by Matheus Lopes, I like the super cool pop art feel to it. The colours and concept are all working for me in this tee.

I have a soft spot for R2-D2 and lighthouses actually as me and my fiancé got engaged by one. Rebel Lighthouse by Andy Farrell, the design looks looks like a very basic stencil print but I think the simplicity adds to the character.

This one is probably my favourite of the Star Wars Threadless tees that I don’t own yet! Slave Two by John Tibbet is a Slave One and a VW Campervan! There is nothing not to adore about this tee! The colours and design all scream ‘Perfection’ to me and I’m delighted it’s been reprinted.

I thought I’d lost this tee but I found it when we moved house, score! Retold with Unicorn by Branco Ricov and Jonah Block features a light side and dark side unicorn battling with their lit up horns! So crazy and surreal it works! Here is me wearing the tee while holding a gigantic owl called Beryl.

I do like the following tee, although it  is a very literal take on ‘Star Wars’, also just realised how many of the Star Wars tees are Navy and Blue! Star Sabers by Tal Zubalsky shows Darth Vader and Luke fighting. They look more like star shaped biscuits than stars to me. Yummy. I love the size and placement of the design on this tee.

Now for something completely different and super clever! I don’t know how some designers come up with such amazing concepts for tee designs! Saber-toothed Tiger by Tobias Fonseca is certainly a tee that will make your Star Wars loving friends snarf their tea! Want, but unfortunately this tee is only for the male half of the Threadless population!
