First off, Worn Again is a damn good name for a company making clothing out of Virgin hot air balloons, admittedly they’re in something of a niche, you can probably count the amount of companies doing that on one hand finger, but they got there first and they probably got the best name, though of course virginity-pun-based business named are very much welcomed, encouraged even, in the comments.

They aren’t particularly cheap (especially for second-hand fabric!), but they look good and you can’t deny that the idea is very cool.

Albatross jacket by La Merde

La Merde Fall 2009 Men - Jackets & Hoodies_1258117896752

I don’t think you need to be French to know what this label (which is actually part of the No Star Clothing group) is called in English. I may have derided Slut clothing earlier in the week for their choice of name (surprisingly they haven’t thanked me for that review yet), but with La Merde I can see how it works, their name is French, and therefore classy, but the translation is pretty cheeky, which is a lot like their clothing.

Costiness=$165 Available from La Merde.

A damn fine looking windbreaker from Johnny Cupcakes

CupcakesBlog Windbreaker3 480x319 A damn fine looking windbreaker from Johnny Cupcakes

The Johnny Cupcakes Juggernaut rolls on with yet more “hey, that’s not a t-shirt” items. I wasn’t too into the ties that were released recently, but then again, I write about t-shirts, so when would I ever wear a tie? This windbreaker though, this I can get into, I love the colourway, and the subtle cupcake camo makes it interesting without being over-the-top on the bakery-love.

Costiness=$98.99 Available from Johnny Cupcakes for men, and for women

Stussy & realmadHECTIC & AFDICEGEAR have the galaxy in their jacket

09.12.2008

A three-way collaboration? Hot stuff!
What I really like about this jacket is that it’s so normal on the outside, and then there’s this totally crazy interior to it that most people are never going to see, unless you’re the kind of person that likes to open up their coat a lot… possibly in a park… [...]

P®LKAD©TS collection by Wrongwroks

06.12.2008

After an usually long amount of time between releases, Wrongwroks has dropped this great wind breaker, along with a matching backpack, tote bag, hat, and camera bag. Yes, you can cover your body from head to toe errr waist in polkadots!
I really like the look of all the items, but I don’t think I could [...]

Down Coat by Original Fake

18.11.2008

I’ve got no idea where you’d actually buy it (as is often the case with high-end limited edition streetwear), but I must admit that this coat looks pretty cool with those bright contrasts going down the zip line.

It’s a black parka with a big hood!

14.11.2008

Okay, this parka is in no way cheap, but hot damn it looks good. I really like the way that when the hood is down (shown in the gallery) it kind of looks like a scarf, with those little tassles at each edge, and yes, I know that’s a really odd thing to pick out.

Deerhunter hoodie by Coardboard Robot at 80s Purple

05.11.2008

Whilst we’re browsing the 80s Purple store, I thought I’d point you towards this hoodie. If you’re a really old school reader of HYA then you might remember me posting this hoodie in 2006 and 2007. The posts still get a surprisingly large amount of hits (usually from spammers), but its no longer on sale [...]

Boddington coat by Obey at 80s Purple

05.11.2008

I’ve turned into a big fan of Obey ever since I bought one of their coats in Hong Kong back in February (which I near-inexplicably haven’t posted here). They’re reasonably priced, high quality, well cut, and just look generally damn good, as the coat above attests. I can almost guarantee that it’ll keep you warm [...]
