I know that there a few people who read HYA that want to start their own t-shirt lines (I’m one of them… eventually friends, eventually), so when I found this list on Emptees of website and MySpace designers that would probably be of help to those of you that know how to design a badass t-shirt, but don’t know the first thing when it comes to designing a website.
After seeing rather a lot of sub-par t-shirt videos being posted to YouTube (and therefore my new baby, TeeBurst), I felt that I needed to raise my spirits by finding some videos that were actually worth a few minutes of your time.

This link is damn old, ancient in internet terms, but its new to me, so… its new!
Internet Duct Tape, whose posts are more accustomed to tech than tees, wrote a list back in December 2006 (soooo old!) of, you guessed it, 107 t-shirts for geeks that do not suck. Personally, I think a few of them do suck, but there’s still a few geeky gems in there that I think are still on sale after all this time.

Custom T-shirt Talk has a good roundup of the myriad of t-shirt subscription services. Y’know, the ones where you pay every month (or annually) and a t-shirt you’ve never seen before ends up at your door every month, sounds pretty crazy when you say it like that, but these services are pretty popular and can be great if you want to expand your style horizons somewhat by getting a random tee every month.

A couple of weeks I told you about some tees that might be suitable for a valentine’s date. Now, I’m going to tell you about the tees that you really, really shouldn’t be wearing today, in fact, you probably shouldn’t be wearing most of these tees on any day. Oh, and whilst I haven’t listed any of their tees (it would have made the list about a mile long, and left me needing to wash myself repeatedly), I think it should be said that wearing anything from T Shirt Hell on Valentine’s is a pretty easy way to get a swift kick to the balls. And yes, some of these tees are affiliate links, but I kinda hope I don’t earn anything from this post.

If you’ve got a date for Valentine’s Day (not me… sigh) then you’ve got to be very careful about what you wear. I guess if you guys are taking your girl to a fancy restaurant then t-shirts might not necessarily be part of your dress code, but some of you might be taking the more casual approach, in which case one of these tees might be right up your alley. As usual for my lists, they aren’t in any particular order, and I know there’s a lot more romantic tees out there but I really thought it would be best to keep this list to the appropriate figure of 14 items. Affiliate links are marked with a *.

Now go out there and make some magic happen!

Since the last post (Robots! 50 Robot Tees) was so popular, I thought I’d do a follow-up. Not quite 50 tees this time (that was a lot of work), but there’s more than enough here for you to welcome our future robot overlords when they eventually rise up and take over the planet, or play the violin, either way, I’m freaked out and prepared to embrace their superiority.

If you’re a new visitor and thought that this list was cool, check out the lists category for more like it. Also, if you’d like to post this article to social bookmarking sites like digg, stumbleupon or del.icio.us, that would be great.

Yeah, I guess that this link would have been a lot more welcome in early December than early January, but this is a top notch selection of tees and I’m sure you’d rather buy them for yourself rather than a friend anyway!
I don’t think that there’s anything new to me in the list, but its nice to see a refresher of the past year.

Good Tees for Typographers: Here’s a list of tees that focus on fonts from Typographica.org, it doesn’t have the ridiculous length of a HYA list, but there’s a lot of good tees on there.
Bean Dip: New items have dropped at the Kazbah, check ‘em out.
Oddica: It’s holiday sale time with them too, from now until January 2nd 2008 you can buy a single shirt for $15, 2 for $14 a piece (so, $28 total) and 3 or more at a rate of $13 each. They’ve also got a little present for us in the form of the release of the latest issue of their PDF Magazine, which is packed full of illustrative goodness from their much-loved artists, download it here.
A Better Tomorrow: Their ‘Xmas Dash’ is in full swing. In a nutshell, the dash is a new tee design being released every day, at the low price of €12. ABT know good design, their wall stickers are amazing, so you can pick yourself up some German awesome-ness at a very reasonable price.
LaFraise: Since their newsletter arrived in my inbox in French this morning, I can’t confirm 100% that what I’m about to tell you is true, but I think that if you spend more than €30 then you can get €5 off with the coupon code LFGIFT until December 31st. Or something like that anyway.
