To be completely honest I haven’t heard of Boneface before Alex over at DPM told me about him, but checking out his portfolio now I am very impressed, the man has some serious talent and I really like his style. You can pick up the tee for $27.95, the poster for $24.95, or a combo pack for $39.95 and they’re all available now.
It’s funny, at this time of year people don’t know whether to call their collections Spring or Summer releases, not that the label is too important, a t-shirt is a t-shirt, but it’s still interesting to watch how the transition is a bit blurred.
I’m impressed by this latest release from Fat Gold, I’d be happy wearing all of it which seems to be my standard of whether something is good or not this week. Tees will run you €28 each across the board, whilst their new selection of hats will put a €22 dent in your wallet.
Glennz designs are the good fit for the back of an iPhone, though I do feel that $34.95 is quite a lot for a case, than again I’m pretty cheap and I’m still using the Griffin one that Apple sent me when they had the handling issues during the launch phase of the iPhone 4.
At the end of every season for Suck Clothing it seems they always treat us to a big sale and at the end of this season there is no difference. With a pretty big range of products including t-shirts, hoodies and hats there is some bargains to be had with a massive 50% off in the online store! You’d be mad not to grab a few things!
The world of independent t-shirt companies is deceptively large (I know I had no idea just how many tee companies were out there until I really started looking), but if you’ve followed it for any length of time, you’re probably familiar with Matthew Skiff’s work. With a client list that includes 410 BC, 8-Bit Zombie, Dance Party Massacre, Death Shred, Ruckus, and more, the man is a proven hit maker, which is why it’s great to see that he’s now launched his own webstore.
(all images ruthlessly stolen from Skiff’s website – sorry dude)
Opening with just three products, Skiff is the first to admit that it’s not much, but it’s a start. That said, the three products are all perfectly executed – the Double Death tee that perfectly encapsulates Skiff’s great balance of childhood nostalgia and sense of the macabre, a rad sticker pack, and this “What If He-Man and Skeletor Were Best Friends” art print, which I probably need to man up and purchase before they all get snatched up:
It’s like the menu at In-N-Out Burger – it’s a short list and not a wide selection by any means, but damn if every piece isn’t perfectly done and reasonably priced.
I really like the idea behind this trilogy of shirts from Ontario, Canada based Nereus Clothing, and also that they’ve stuck with the same style for all three illustrations. You can pick up a tee for $20, which is perfectly reasonable for an Ameircan Apparel shirt, and if you’d rather printed posters then you can pick up a set for $25.
Community meets Sesame Street at TeeFury today. Mario gets mashed up with the iconic-ish Facebook/The Social Network poster at Shirt.Woot. Apparently this shirt at RIPT is about Supernatural. The 2nd place winner in the DBH x Dark Knight Rises comeptition is a little disappointing, but it was chosen by Christopher Nolan himself, and I guess [...]
Colus Havenga, one of my personal favorite t-shirt designers and brands, just added some jewelry to his line. Two necklaces are now available at colushavenga.com for $20 each. “rune” and “flora” are simple yet bold. Laser cut from acrylic plastic and hung from a long chain, they’re a great addition to any collection.
“Medicine heals the body, music heals the soul”, my thoughts exactly. Being a lover of music, I have been captured by this tee over at Status Serigraph. Showcasing just a small number of tees (it’s a small selection, but very nicely designed and that’s what really counts), Status Serigraph’s main focus is prints – and [...]
While I was waiting for my 8-Bit Zombie (8BZ) package, I felt like one of Pavlov’s Dogs. The door bell would ring and my mouth would salivate over the thought of the fresh, sweet joy of a new top. To my dismay however on most of the occasions it was just a door-to-door sales person [...]
Can’t say that I’d heard of Ambush Apparel before they got in touch, but they have a polished look that suggests they have more experience than a brand putting out their sophomore release. The logo shirt isn’t particularly expiring, if you’re a fan of Ambush then I’m sure you’ll like it but there’s not a [...]
I’m pretty sure I spotted this on Pinterest (feel free to follow HYA’s boards on Pinterest), but can’t find the page now, sorry original pinner. Inside those milk cartons is a t-shirt from Croatian brand Lega Lega, who incidentally also have rather nice tees. I love the what they they’ve clearly put so much effort [...]
I like the new ‘Build Bridges‘ design from Random Objects, it may be simple, restrained, and just a one-colour print, but it’s the kind of shirt that I really like to wear. Good to see Origami Pigeon make a return too, even if it’s just for a short time as when it sells out it [...]
After 2 years in the making, Awesome Stuff In Life Clothing officially launches with 3 new shirts and some sweet “MORE STAGE DIVES” snapbacks! Use coupon code “WELCOME” to get 15% off your purchase. “JUST CHEER UP AND FIND THE AWESOME STUFF IN LIFE” Andy: If only these guys could be a bit more positive… [...]
You can usually expect a solid release from The Quiet Life and this is no exception, with that ‘Middle of Nowhere’ t-shirt catching my eye in particular. This is just the first part of their Spring collection so expect more to come along soon.
As most of you know (or at least you must have seen Matt’s blog about it) Miles to Go released their Spring 2012 line, and obviously it looks fantastic. Greg Kerr (owner of Miles to Go) put together a contest on Facebook; share the release of the new line and be entered to win a [...]
Introducing the Spring Summer 2012 drop from Dublins longest serving streetwear company Project A Apparel. Inspired by 80′s Hong Kong action flicks and heist movies this collection features the companies first forays into photographic prints and clothing outside tshirts. The collection features, 5 tshirts, 2 pocket tees, 1 crewneck, 2 bags and a five panel [...]
Thankfully the comments over at TeeFury explained to me that this is something to so with Doctor Who, the Tardis at the top should have been a bit of a clue as well though. This Star Wars based design at Shirt.Woot is one of my favourites from them for quite some time. Spiderman gets some [...]
Blade Runner shirt at TeeFury. It’s my favourite movie and I’m glad to see it get some attention. Adorable D&D x apocalyptic asteroid x dinosaurs t-shirt at Shirt.Woot today. Very nice Zelda shirt hits RIPT today.
As usual with Mishka about half of the collection goes a little bit too far for my taste in terms of the streetwear and I like the other half, but I can’t like everything so that’s fine with me.
