The Werd - Got My Druks On

The Werd - Got My Druks On from Druks Paris on Vimeo.

Is it weird that on the very same day that I post about how me blaming anything on gangsta rap would be ridiculous that I post a rap video and actually quite like it?

Anyway (the bird is) The Werd apparently really like Druks clothing, because he wrote a whole song about them, and fair play to him, because they do have some pretty sweet streetwear.

… and judging by the video above (HQ versions available on YouTube), it’s going to be pretty freakin’ cool.

Akomplice Clothing

Pretty damn polished for a preview right? I like the way that they don’t actually show any of the t-shirts at any point, just the designs.

Linty Fresh Chats… from China!

3421727692_cbe7c849fa-480x452 Linty Fresh Chats... from China!

I’ve never actually seen one of Eric Terry’s Linty Fresh chats, largely because they would begin at 1am UK time, but in an ironic twist, now that he has moved to China (albeit temporarily) and I’ve moved to America (albeit temporarily), I’m actually going to get to watch one!

Usually the chats are focused on something to do with the tee industry, but this one, quite naturally, is going to spend quite a lot of time talking about his experiences in China, which should be pretty fascinating, though I’m sure there will be something for you teeple needing advice too.

Check out all the details here.

coteetv-480x288 Co-Tee TV, tee blogging goes multimedia!

Y’know, I was wondering how long it would be until a tee blogger decided to make a regular video podcast about tees. Good luck with it Coty!

Hmmm…. what might this be?

NerdyShirts have got an interesting coupon code giveaway going on. On their blog they have placed a code that will give the first hundred users $10 off their order, the only catch is you need to find it first. It’s pretty easy to find, so it’s possible that all 100 coupons have gone already, but you might as well try your luck.

Oh, and NS are continuing their “seriously, check out our weird commercials, they’re really weird” series of commercials, this time with a girl sat in a field… and that’s it. Embedded below for you convenience, naturally.

MiNGLED release an ad [video]

Not many tee companies make videos to promote themselves, but MiNGLED seem to be testing the waters with this first attempt that was shot on the South Bank in London last year, but only edited and put together recently. It’s a cool ad, but it does seem as if it’s building to something that doesn’t come in the end.

The 2008 Threadless Bestees!!! from Threadless.com on Vimeo.

I’m cutting it a little fine with this video if you’re looking for Threadless Bestees voting inspiration, but to be honest the designs aren’t really on screen for long enough to get a proper look at them, but a video showing all 331 tees that Threadless released in 2008 does show just how big they’ve become.

I’m really starting to get into Karmaloop’s Daily Loop, the short news show which covers items from the world of streetwear, new stuff they’re selling, technology and regular stories from the news too, basically stuff I’m interested in. I don’t plan on posting it every day, but I liked yesterday’s clip, so here it is, that and any post I write which has “fake Sarah Palin nudes” in the title is blatantly going to be pageview-grabbing-gold!

Video is NSFW for the aforementioned boobies (nothing too graphic though) and some fairly salty language, but you don’t watch videos at work anyway, right?

The Daily Loop 02/10/08

The Daily Loop from KarmaloopTV

Karmaloop have started producing a daily show in which they discuss what’s new in the world of streetwear. Yesterday’s issue covered the Marc Ecko Star War collection, some limited edition sneakers, TI’s new album, and a few small/funny stories that have been in the news recently, such as that guy that punched a shark in the face to save his dog.

The ‘Daily Loop’ is professionally produced, well hosted, and pretty funny to boot, so I may well be making the Daily Loop a daily stop off on my web travels.
