New Tees at PalmerCash

jpeg-480x240 New Tees at PalmerCash

Gee, can you tell that this is a filler post since I almost never mention Palmer Cash because there’s a really big post coming up today?

To be fair to PC, the new tees are pretty cool and come from some solid brands, so maybe I should be mentioning them more.

A bunch of new designs for the month of June. Yes we have lots of new women’s designs in from Goodie Two Sleeves, and some great guy’s designs in from brands like The Ryde, Ames Bros. and Palmercash. Right now, you could pick out one of these shirts, be wearing it next week and most likely be one of only a handful of people in the world rocking that shirt on that very day. That’s a pretty exclusive club if you ask me.

Check ‘em out!

With all due respect to Reece Ward, because I like his stuff, I don’t think that this tee should have been given quite as much love as it has received, because it’s a cool idea but it feels like it’s just plonked onto the shirt, which I guess is a limitation of what you can do with a POD supplier (redbubble in this case). However, the poster version would look good on the wall of any geek.

may09splashnew-480x340 Mini Cassette dropped 3 new tees a couple of weeks ago

Here’s a trio of tees that I found whilst rooting around in my inbox. I think that even if I posted a tee-related story every hour for a month my e-mail inbox would still be embarassingly full of unanswered mail. Also, if I did a post an hour for a month I’d probably have some kind of nervous breakdown, which might be a fun experiment!

It’s a little bit odd that I hardly ever mention Uneetee because they have some really cool designs, but I guess that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes, I can’t cover everything, even with the 8 posts a day I’ve been attempting to reach each day (except for on weekends, and when I review a physical tee, and when I can’t be bothered). Anyway, I’ll try and better keep on top of them in the future, starting today with a couple of coupon codes that can get you 10% off your order at Uneetee until the end of the month. Why they’ve released two that do exactly the same thing I have no idea, as I’d doubt you can apply two codes to one order, but I guess it’s always better to have two options rather than one. The first code has a graduation theme to it, UGRAD10, which is presumably for all those plucky youngsters who just finished school and need some tees for the summer. The second code is DAD10, which is obviously intended for Father’s Day, you’d probably be a bit late ordering a tee for Dad now, but I’m sure he’d appreciate it next week too.

Birdshot by Cotton Factory

1100-480x245 Birdshot by Cotton Factory

A few days ago I was sat in our living room when I heard a thud against the big bay window. It’s not unusual for birds to smack into the window, but they usually get straight up and fly away seemingly unharmed. This occasion was different, the bird (judging by its fluffiness this may well have been the chicks first foray out of the nest) just lay there, twitching every so often, it’s little heart beating at a furious pace. Whilst I’m no vet, I presumed that it had hit head first, cracked its skull and was now going through a rather nasty hemorrhaging ordeal, but I left it alone because I couldn’t do anything and didn’t want to scare it, so I turned back to the TV. About 20 minutes later I glanced out the window and found the little bird to now be stood up, slowly moving it’s head around, but still not particularly active. Ten minutes or so went by when I took another look to see how my new feathery chum was doing, and it’s head was darting around now, it gave it’s wings a couple of stretches and took off as if nothing had happened. It was weird how emotionally invested I got into the life of this little bird just because it crashed next to the window, or maybe I just really didn’t want to pick up a dead bird to throw in the trash.

This t-shirt is ridiculous and silly and I know I shouldn’t like it but there’s something about it that makes me smile.

sdc15718-large-480x360 Chain Smoker by Graniph [Review]

If you can say one thing about Graniph (and I say a lot), it’s that they run through designs pretty darn quickly, so for those of you that flip healthy society the bird by inhaling smoke (think about it, you’re inhaling smoke, isn’t that an odd concept?), I’m afraid you can’t complement your habit with this tee because by the looks of it Graniph don’t sell this particular design anymore. Still, there’s a load more excellent designs in the store for your perusal.

Robotic Tacos by Foe Paws Apparel

I’d be willing to guess that more than a few of you regular readers right now got your first taste of HYA when you read either of my big lists of robot t-shirts, and with the new Transformers movie coming out at the weekend (aka the movie that makes me as giddy with excitement as a 12 year-old at a Jonas Brothers concert), don’t be surprised if a new list as epic as the film pops up on HYA over the next few days.

To tide you over until then, enjoy these robotic tacos. This tee is only available for a limited amount of time, so much like actual tacos, it’s better to get ‘em while they’re hot.

us-480x361 Crywolf Clothing keep you coming back for more

Best. Title. Ever.

In a case of ladies doin’ it for themselves, Rose & Stephanie, who together form the mighty duo of Crywolf, design and hand-silkscreen all the garments in their store, and a mighty fine job they do to. It’s hard to peg these two Torontoites (Torontoans? Torontonians? Torrorizers? People From Toronto?) down to just one style, they tend to jump around a lot from between themes and print styles, so just check out the gallery and you’ll get a better idea what’s going down. Oh, and they’re offering free shipping this month when you sign up to their newsletter.
