Three new shirts at Tshirt Laundry this week

Post image for Three new shirts at Tshirt Laundry this week

I didn’t realise that Tshirt Laundry wrote fun little stories about their new releases:

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I say they’re wrong, whoever they are. I visited the lights in the desert a few months ago and came home with problems that won’t quit. You guessed it, There’s Always Money involved in these things. Not only do I have reoccurring nightmares of Wayne Newton telling me “Have a Killer Day” as I board the plane to leave town, I returned home with a bag of red, blue and green chips I can’t decipher. All I could do was shake my head and think, Game Over Man, game over.

My experience of Vegas is that it’s hot, kinda smells like pee, and people steal the cap to the gas tank on your rental car. Vegas baby!

Free shipping if you order two shirts or more, and as usual these tees are $14 this week before raising in price next week.

zombie lincoln t-shirt

You’ve got to hand it to BustedTees sometimes, they certainly know how to put out tees that will get a reaction from people, considering how much people love Arrested Development, zombies, random 80s references (the Captain Planet tee), and I’m sure that Obama tee will raise a few eyebrows.

T-shirt news for March 8th

arrested development t-shirt

Arrested Development makes an appearance at TeeFury today.

It’s a reprint day at RIPT with this Pokemon x Star Wars design.

Poirot makes an unexpected appearance at Qwertee.

Funny Portal t-shirt at Shirt.Woot.

Funny Skyrim t-shirt at Shirt Punch, nice style to it too, not sure whether I’d actually wear it though.

‘Vitruvian Prime’ makes an appearance at OtherTees.

Weird skull based design at today.

I suspect we’ll be seeing quite a lot of these election tees this year, this Harry Potter take on the genre is pretty nice.

“I want you…. to” at 24tee.

I like the little splash of colour on this new tee at DBH.

This design at Made in the Now celebrates the Indian festival of Holi.

Tilteed have a study of turtles, and it’s adorable.

RockCandy have a Spring Sale going on with yp to 30% off.

TTG intverview Branded Baron and they have a giveaway for a couple of tees too.

TTG also report on the story of a girl walking into Tesco (the giant UK supermarket chain, £1 of every £8 spent in the UK is spent at Tescos) and finding her face on a sweatshirt in the clothing section. I like the way that in the photo she’s meant to look annoyed but you can tell she’s happy to be getting in the papers.

malk simpsons t-shirt

Pretty cool selection from Tshirt Laundry this week, I think that my favourite of the bunch is the Malk shirt since I like that Simpsons joke.

Daily Tee Roundup Sept. 29th

mad men t-shirt

Sorry this is a bit later than usual, I had some errands to run this morning.

Mad Men themed design from TeeFury today, not a stunning design but one that I can see fans picking up.

Shirt.Woot are offering a tee that is almost definitely referencing Arrested Development.

I do wish that today’s shirt from RIPT was a lot more Futurama-related and less Battletoads-related, but different strokes for different folks and all.

“The blue-footed booby dance of seduction” sounds a lot more like an indie band than a t-shirt design to me. Great design from Tilteed today, and don’t forget that everything is $10 there this week.

I know what you’re thinking “ooh, French writing, that t-shirt looks lovely” well, sorry, the text says “Barbie is a slut,” yeah, not so nice now is it? €12 today at Loviu.

Very cool design from today.

Personally I’d rather see the weapons to be underlining the names rather than running through them since it does make things a bit messy in my opinion, but it’s by no means a bad shirt today at Qwertee.

arrested development t-shirt

They’ve been re-running Arrested Development on FX here in the UK, and every so often I catch an episode and it really is very, very good. I do wonder what would have happened if it had kept running though, would Michael Cera and Jason Bateman be turning down movie offers to stay on with the show? Would they have even gotten cast in movies if they were still making the show?

mortal kombat t-shirt

Thinking back, I probably shouldn’t have been playing Mortal Kombat games before I was 10 years old, although I do think that games back then, even gory ones where you ripped out someone’s spine weren’t as bad as games today because it was so much more obvious how separated from reality they were, letting a kid play Grand Theft Auto nowadays seems like a good way to give them a slightly warped world view.

Are they actually making the Arrested Development movie? People have been wanting it to be made for longer than the shows was on the air, I just don’t really know where a movie would take it, it’s a pity that there doesn’t seem to be the same TV culture in the UK as America, here we’d just do a couple of “Christmas Special” episodes that wrap things up without having to have all this fuss. T-shirt’s pretty cool though.

I’m not really digging this “Tiger Uppercut” tee that references the infamous Street Fighter move, but I guess two out of three in a release ain’t half bad, by which I mean it literally isn’t half bad.

All three t-shirts are $19.95 and available now from 604Republic, who I think might have a coupon code on ShirtDeck.

arrested development t-shirt

You have to wonder how many t-shirt design there would be about Arrested Development had the show actually continued production over the past few years, it seems almost bizarre that a show that was relatively short-lived still gets so much attention from the indie t-shirt communtiy. Still, if you like it, I’m cool with it.

Milford Academy by Vig Tees

Considering that Arrested Development only ran for 3 seasons it’s amazing that people have been talking about how much it sucks that the show was canceled for about as long as it was on TV. Personally, I think that the apparently-now-upcoming movie will probably be a bit of a let down, but I’m sure I’ll still watch it.

Anyway, I can’t actually remember the reference, but I’m sure those of you that do will have raised a smile at the above design.
