This is a pretty cutesy take upon the traditional crest design. Horatio, you get a thumbs up from HYA!
This is a pre-order, when 50 of them are ordered they will be shipped, and then no more will be made. Ever.

In their e-mail to me about this tee Bear Annihiliator said that they’ve given their by-now-quite-familiar bear has been redesigned in the style of a 1920s cartoon with a contemporary twist. Looking at it the first thing that came to mind for me was that this was more of a streetwear style tee. Those aren’t necessarily two conflicting styles, especially as streetwear often incorporates retro illustration. No matter how you try to pigeonhole the style of this design, it’s undeniably fresh (and I mean that in the cool sense, not the bread sense, but by explaining it I’ve now lost all sense of cool, why can’t I just stop typing!).

Damn, sorry guys, just noticed that this tee is listed as sold out, but I’ve already written the post, so I’m posting it anyway
When I first saw the artwork for this tee I wasn’t overly enthused with it, but when I saw the actual images of the tees I totally changed my mind, I totally love the colourway, and the height of the print really helps add to the perspective of the design.

A nice simple hoodie today to ease me back into the blogging habit after a little break for Easter (not that I’m at all religious, but when everyone you know is off work its hard to buck the trend), I found out yesterday at a dinner party that Americans don’t get Easter Monday or Good Friday off work, I pitied you all very much whilst tucking into slow-roasted lamb.
Anyway, the stitched on bear applique is pretty cute, but its actually the hood lining that I’m far more interested in. I like the way that there is such a strong contrast between the blue on the outside and the starkness of the black and white striped lining, although I guess that the model kind of exacerbates the contrast too as she’s pretty black-and-white herself. This is presumably a high-quality piece too, as most of the items in the Jessica Louise store are hand cut and sewn, which as you would imagine does increase the amount of time between ordering and the postman dropping that package into your waiting hands (about 1-2 weeks in most cases).
It’s available in several colours, none of which are all that shy!
