Post image for “Caña Tsunami” t-shirt for beer and Hokkusai fans at Dr. UEEE

For a bit of context, a ‘caña’ is a small beer in Spain which usually costs about €1 and may be accompanied by tapas at the bar. I like that Dr. UEEE felt the need to explain to the English guy what a small beer is since we don’t usually put those two words together, though Germans usually have us beat when it comes to the volume of beer in a single glass, though I’d like to think we have them beat (as if anyone ever wins during a marathon drinking session).

Being a Hokkusai fan, and when I say fan I mean I only like ‘the Great Wave’ but I do like it enough to have it on my sneakers, I think that this design is pretty neat.

Costiness=€19.95 Buy it at Dr. UEEE

imperial sandtrooper ipa star wars beer t-shirt

Frankly, I’m pretty surprised that there aren’t already Star Wars licensed beers out there, seems like a marketing opportunity that Star Wars have missed, and they usually love to make merchandise out of everything.

Really nice design from Seventh.Ink, and if you’d like to see some photos and video of printing process check out this blog post on their site.

pop chart labs controllers t-shirt

Sometimes I let an e-mail sit in my inbox saying to myself “I’ll check it tomorrow” and invariably that tomorrow goes on to the next day and the next, and usually it’s just another crappy t-shirt company that has a lot of hopes and no talent or drive to back it up, but every so often it’s a collection of fantastic tees like the ones above and I feel a bit stupid for not checking out the site sooner.

Clearly a fantastic amount of work has gone into creating these shirts at Pop Chart Lab, I’m pretty blown away by the designs showing the ‘grand taxonomy of rap names’ and ‘the very many types of beer’. They’re still all available (howe bad would i have been if they’d sold out before I wrote about them?) and they’re $18-20 each.

tshirt laundry

My favourite for the week at Tshirt Laundry is the Donkey Kond design, interesting to see a take on the character which isn’t 8-bit.

T-shirt news for January 26th

star wars argyle t-shirt

Very nice argyle Star Wars t-shirt today at TeeFury.

Seems to me like this is the kind of design that Shirt.Woot should have been selling in the run up to Christmas.

RIPT drop a Milton Glaser-inspired Doctor Who t-shirt.

Harry Potter Muggle Ale shirt at Qwertee.

Those troublesome Tribbles are at Shirt Punch today.

Skyrim is the inspiration for this Nowhere Bad shirt.

I have no idea what the inspiration is for this design at The Yetee.

Star Wars meets Firefly today at OtherTees (who have a snazzy new site).

TeeRaiders have a Doctor Who design as well.

24tee go for the niche with one of the stars of the (surprisingly enthralling) King of Kong coin-op games documentary.

DBH love owls. On that subject, I saw a man walking down the street with an owl yesterday. Owls are great.

Hey look, Tilteed are selling one of their lesser seen designs again.

I have no idea what the kanji (presuming it’s Japanese) on this shirt says, so buyer beware at TeeMinus24.

Tee Gazette have put together their 10 favourite tees from the Storenvy marketplace for January.

Sock Monkee have released their Ampertastic Mr. Fox design as a print.

Adam over at IAMTHETREND busts six commonly held myths about his employer Storenvy.

Wrongwroks have released a parka with a faux fur trim.

Threadless have made some tees available to be put on Xbox avatars, and they cost about $1 each, but here’s the real kicker, if you want a hoodie you have to pay $2. They’re pixels, just because it costs double in real life doesn’t mean that they should cost double on the Xbox marketplace!

Glennz has made some more designs available as hoodies.

Mashable have a guide to building a strong online community around your brand.

Everything is on sale at Myth Clothing.

This Rihanna ‘thug life’ tattoo picture has been doing the rounds, but it’s her John Lennon t-shirt that interests me the most.

Here’s Katy Perry wearing a pretty cool hoodie (and I suspect a cool skull-based all over print t-shirt too).

Buy one get one free (on tees, not hoodies) at Eleven Eleven.

Typography Shop have put all their hoodies on sale.

Sehubabe have released a hoodie and t-shirt for Transardentes 2012 (a Belgian electro rock festival).

TanDan have been added as a brand store at A Better Tomorrow.

breaking bad t-shirt

I realised that this TeeFury shirt was about Breaking Bad, but having only seen a couple of episodes the Los Pollos Hermanos aspect of this shirt is lost on me.

I think that this might be my favourite design that Shirt.Woot have released.

Goonies-inspired t-shirt from RIPT today.

“The Marvelous commute to Wonderland” is up at Qwertee.

It’s Back To The Future vs Bill and Ted at Shirt Punch today.

Here’s another 24tee shirt that goes over my head.

I know that Community isn’t for everyone, but the paintball episode was truly fantastic, so I’m glad to get the reminder from TeeRadiers.

Two new shirts from DBH today (including one that is fighting SOPA that will only be available for a couple more days).

BustedTees have some wrestling pandas for $13.99 instead of $20 this week.

Hey look, Tilteed are selling ‘The Eternal Struggle’ again.

This error greeted me when I visited TeeBlitz this morning.

Adam has some advice over at TeeJunction on creating a t-shirt brand.

Save up to 20% on your order at Wrongwroks, providing you spend quite a lot.

Raygun Robyn is aiming for global domination, and to do that she’s going to offer free shipping to the first person from countries that haven’t yet made an order in her store.

Johnny Cupcakes shares a little story of how he put a plastic skull into a random customer’s order for a hat to try and add some mystery and magic to the online shopping process. It might give other store owners ideas about how they can make their shopping experience more interesting.

Obscure Printing are going to start offering a complete fulfillment service for brands (printing, packing, shipping, and stock holding). They’re also collaborating with a company called Judda distribution which will make brands available to 3000+ stores across Europe, which could be a great opportunity for a lot of brands. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes.

Mila Kunis wore a vintage-styled Pepsi t-shirt, super-duper!

Daily Tees & News Roundup for Novmeber 7th

by Andy on November 7, 2011

Starship Troopers t-shirt

When I first saw Starship Troopers I thought it was awesome because of all the guns and explosions, and even a couple of boobs here and there, but now that I’m an adult I realise that it’s actually a bit smarter than it’s often given credit for. $10 today at TeeFury.

Post image for Epic Daily Tee Roundup for October 24th: 15 shirts!

Lots and lots of shirts to mention today, and the daily offering will grow tomorrow when another site joins the fray.

Very cool Shaun of the Dead (right?) shirt from TeeFury today.

Wait, is Supernatural really popular? There certainly seems to be a lot of related shirt for it, such as this one at Qwertee.

Last few hours to pick up ‘Get a Job’ at Tilteed.

Ahhh Dr. Mario, that series didn’t last too long, did it? Shirt $12 at Nowhere Bad.

Nice work from Stupidhurts.us, they’ve been impressing me recently.

I suppose that this Shirt.Woot tee will suffice for those days when you don’t want to wear your $35 Johnny Cupcakes shirt in the kitchen.

I think that this is probably one of my favourite Zelda designs, good work RIPT.

Yeah, that works, nice stuff, The Yetee.

It’s funny the Fry & Leela romance storyline causes me to feel more than just about any other show or movie, and it’s on a cartoon, and one of them is a mutant. TeeMinus24.

Oooh, this is timely, what with the Iraq war ‘ending’. $14.99 down from $21.99 at Uneetee.

I don’t watch House, so I don’t get this, but maybe you will. OtherTees.

This shirt from 24tee misses the mark for me, perhaps they and I are just on different wavelengths, but I will keep posting them anyway since I’m sure some of you will like their stuff.

Interesting Mario shirt from TeeRadiers today.

Timely shirt from GraphicLab this week, you won’t get it in time for Halloween, but I think you can wear this all year round. Well, maybe not on Christmas day.

I don’t like the way that the 4 eyes are exactly the same, but this Loviu shirt is interesting nevertheless.

Catch of the Day Tee have nothing on their site today.

“Revenge” t-shirt by Tee Project

by Andy on September 17, 2011

revenge t-shirt tee project

I haven’t given Australian design competition Tee Project nearly enough attention, they’ve got some good tees in their back catalogue and this new design is pretty nifty too. I’m not sure of the back story behind it, but I think that the design is meant to look like a label on a beer bottle, so it’ll probably sell very well in Australia.

Costiness=AUD$25 (about USD$26) Buy it at Tee Project

Daily Tee Roundup Sept. 7th 2011

by Andy on September 7, 2011

leonardo dicaprio meme t-shirts

I have been posting the daily tee sites for a couple of weeks now, and whilst I think it is a good idea, I don’t really like the way that it is dominating the site so much when you look through the previous pages, it looks like daily tee sites are the main focus of HYA, which they aren’t, everything in the tee world is the focus of HYA. So I’m going to give putting them in a group a go and publishing a roundup post each day and see how that goes. Comments welcome if you’d like to advise which format you prefer.

‘Feeling Dreamy’ is a shirt that you can like on two levels; one, it’s just a nice design, and two, there is definitely a meme in there and I’m not going to let slip what it is. $12 for a few more hours at Tilteed.

‘The Juniper Tree’ is okay, but I’m not getting too excited by it, it’s just one of those designs that anyone could have in their wardrobe but it’s never going to be a favourite. $10 today at Shirt.Woot

‘Dire Brew’ is apparently something to do with Game of Thrones, I haven’t seen the show yet (it is Sky+’d though), y’all think I’m gonna love it? $10 today at TeeFury

‘Let’s Roll’ is a Big Lebowski t-shirt, obviously, and a mighty fine one at that. This is what you get when you meet a stranger in the Alps! From $10 today at RIPT Apparel.

‘Dextoon’ is my favourite daily tee of the day, in fact it’s probably going to be my shirt of the week (not that I keep a chart, I just think it’s really good), fun style and a good way to deal with Dexter since shirts about serial killers tend to be a bit depressing and gory. £8 at Qwertee for another day and a half.

‘I hate police’ isn’t a sentiment that I agree with, but I do like the style of this shirt so I’m a little bit torn. €12 at Loviu today.

‘Tree’ is a pretty clever shirt, by no means brilliant, but I’d be happy seeing it in my wardrobe. $25 from today onwards at Stupidhurts.us

firefly serentiy t-shirt

I’ve pointed out numerous times when Firefly shirts turn up on the daily shirt sites that I haven’t actually seen the show and that I should probably do something to rectify that. I haven’t mentioned though that I have seen Serenity, so I’m not entirely clueless about the show, and the more tees I see the more I learn (I clearly have a very strange learning process).

$10 today at TeeFury

imperial stout star wars beer t-shirt

I’m not a skater and I think that’s pretty evident by now, but I do like the idea of hanging skate decks on my wall simply because they’re interesting, and I think that some of these decks from Seventh.Ink would look pretty cool in the office. I am of course a lot more interested in the shirt ($24), which pairs Star Wars and beer, a combination that we have seen before, but it remains no less welcome to be seen again because it is a pretty cool concept.

6 New T-shirts from No Star Clothing

by Andy on August 5, 2011

hugs and drugs t-shirt It isn’t actually six new designs from No Star, but ‘Two new designs for men, two for women, and one for both at No Star Clothing‘ wasn’t quite as catchy.

Two new shirts from LaFraise this week

by Andy on July 13, 2011

lafraise yin yang t-shirt

Good work again by laFraise, that Panda shirt is just gorgeous, and they’ve achieved a rare feat by creating a beer shirt that isn’t utterly terrible.

“Care Beers” t-shirt by Glennz

by Andy on May 8, 2011

care bears t-shirt

I don’t think I ever imagined that I would see a Care Bears x ‘any alcoholic beverage’ mashup t-shirt, but I guess I can tick that off my list now.

604Republic (who are an advertiser on HYA) seem to be carving themselves a decent slice of the pop culture tee market, and how are they doing it? By producing interesting and funny designs, the sneaky bastards.

Frakking Puppets takes advantage of that massive overlap between the fans of Battlestar Galactica and the Muppets. I’ve still not gotten around to watching Battlestar Galactica, I’m told it’s fantastic and judging from the few episodes I’ve seen, it is, hopefully I can avoid finding out who the cylons are for a few years until I manage to hide myself away for a weekend and just watch the whole lot in a marathon.

Who watches the Empire? Tee nerd alert! 604Republic have managed to find a concept for a Star Wars tee that hasn’t been done a million times!

Lava Burn Ward, again with the Mario shirts, maybe I should write a Mario list one of these days?

The Drunken Clam t-shirt. It’s actually surprising how few tees there are about Family Guy considering how popular the show is. Also, even though this is a real tee, doesn’t this photo look somewhat like a mockup?

All the tees can be yours for $19.95 each.

bear pong t-shirt

Beer pong is something that just doesn’t exist in the UK at the moment, I would assume that a few people might play it at Universities (especially ones with American football teams), but there’s no culture for it in this country, so this shirt is a bit lost on me. Still, I do enjoy puns.

Costiness=$12.99 Buy it at Etsy
