big bang theory

It’s not the best week ever, but that Big Bang concept is new to me, so a slight doff of my cap to Snorg for that one.

Post image for Sheldon’s Rubik’s Cube t-shirt back in stock at Glennz Tees (and 30% off for thanksgiving)

Glennz has posted a quick note saying that his ‘Melting Rubik’s‘ shirt that was featured on the Big Bang Theory is back in stock, and also that he’s offering 30% off all shirts for Thanksgiving.

Not the best week ever at Snorg but it could be worse, and all three shirts are $14.95 this week, rising to $19.95 next week as usual.

Okay, so given the frequency of posts about Glennz you might think we have a little t-shirt crush on him. But we can’t help the fact that the guy turns out fantastic designs time and time again. This one’s another major hit.

“Melting” is something I sometimes wish I could do to the Rubik’s Cube sitting on my bedroom shelf. It’s been there for about 10 years. Every few months I pick it up and twiddle it, often messing up any good work I’d done before. Then it gets set down again, ready to collect dust. If the universe wants to combine to concentrate the sun’s power on the cube and melt it to save me the hassle of having to attempt to be smart every so often (and failing miserably), I’d not necessarily be angry.

Costliness = $21.95

Nice! Finally a website for the whole world to order shirts related to the Big Bang Shirts! If it’s a quote from Sheldon or a shirt worn in the show Big Bang Theory.

Andy: Nice! Someone has finally put all the shirts on the Big Bang Theory in a store! Even the shirts that it isn’t hard to find the real original that this site is ripping off! Making a store based around quotes and themes is okay (in my book), but clearly copying original designs when the original is still on sale is just not acceptable.

T-shirt news for March 26th

I find it kind of odd that people would want to wear the mascot for an operating system, but this shirt from TeeFury ain’t too bad.

Shirt.Woot revamp the original cute cat poster.

I like The IT Crowd, I have a NES under my TV, and I like t-shirts. I like this from RIPT. Pretty sure I’ve written about this design in the past…

klimt star wars the kiss

Hello, hello, hello and happy Valentine’s Day! I had a great holiday (though my snowboarding inflicted bruises may say different), and then went to see Justice play in Manchester last night, but now it’s back to reality and back to the serious business of t-shirts (and camera accessories at Rigu, of course).

TeeFury have a Star Wars-ified take on Gustav Klimt’s ‘The Kiss’.

Shirt.Woot believe the pen is mightier than the sword (or possibly equal to it).

RIPT have a Game of Thrones t-shirt that looks cool that I don’t understand.

80sTees continue to impress me, they seem to be doing a lot more with their licenses than they used to. Any of you readers Big Bang Theory fans, I think that it might be a good subject for a list post, as ever, let me know if you want me to make it!

I’m always surprised with how often I find something in the 80sTees catalogue that I like. Maybe I’m not so much of a t-shirt snob as I thought? Oh, and don’t worry about the shape of the tee, I’m 99% sure that it’s a mockup, especially as the details for the tee claim it to be tagless when the picture clearly shows a tag.

I see this tee more times than I care for on a lot of the generic looking ‘funny’ tee sites that pop up every now and then, but since LolaCamisetas have actually taken a nice picture of it, I actually quite like it. They’ve got the style right, and the colourway is awfully pleasant too.

The Big Bang Theory may not be a high-class comedy, it’s basically a normal sitcom except with jokes that are made a bit cleverer*because they’re based on science, but I would call myself a fan, and I rarely miss an episode. I’m sure that Thinker Clothing never miss an episode, becuase they probably tune in to see if they’re on the show that week, seeing as Sheldon (or at least Sheldon’s stylist) seems to have bought their entire range of tees.

*yes, I said ‘cleverer’.

I fear that I may be twitterising my titles, as there’s basically not much more information that I need to give you to understand this story… though I guess that is what a title in meant to do!

I’m a fan of the Big Bang Theory (both of them), and the way that Sheldon and Leonard can often be found sporting tees from the kind of t-shirt companies that are often found on HYA (aha, a TV show that gets us that isn’t The IT Crowd!). Often I have to do a bit of detecteeve work to find the shirts in question, but in this case happyfamily were proudly proclaiming there national exposure, which made things an awful lot easier for me. The tyrannosaurus shirt can be seen in episode 17 of season 2 of the show, also know as ‘The Terminator Decoupling’.

Costiness=$16 Available from happyfamily’s Etsy store

If you’ve ever seen the TV show ‘The Big Bang Theory’ you may well have noticed that the characters, who we’re meant to believe are more interested in quantum theory than fashion, can be found wearing some pretty cool t-shirts. I guess that someone else noticed this and decided to hunt down where the tees can be bought online, and put together a site all about it. Some of the links aren’t exactly right, I doubt that CBS’s wardrobe department are buying their tees from Cafepress, but its still a pretty good resource.
