Bit of a pity that this wasn’t released by Threadless last week, because it would have been a shoe in for being high up on the food tee list. Unecessary fact o’ the day, last week I made and ate 3 burgers, each better than the last, and it turns out that I actually like gherkins in my burger, but only if they’re fresh and crunchy, not the limp McDs kind.

Y’know, I’m actually not even that big of a fan of Star wars, but I do like finding and writing about them since you guys seem to like them, and this design from Snorg Tees really tickles my geek bone. Actually, I’ve never seen Attack of the Clones, which you could argue does make me a proper fan!

This info is a month out of date, but if you haven’t seen it before, then I’m sure we can just pretend it’s new and that I ‘m a really on-the-ball blogger.
Tolky Monkys, Spains finest character-based clothing label, have released four brand new hoodies for men and women. This is the second time that they’ve released hoodies, and judging by the fresh dusting of snow I woke up to this morning their timing couldn’t be better. One thing I notice about all the desgins is that the colour palettes are all spot on, they really work, but my favourite aspect of these hoodies? They all have custom hood linings that refelct the character on the design of the hoodie, I love it when a company puts in a contrasting hood lining, it can turn a good hoodie into a great one. I think this might be one of those instances, to the point at which I’ll accept the €49 price point, because you could pay an awful lot more for an awful lot less.

If there was one character that defined typography tees last year, it was the ampersand. It was everywhere, and I don’t really have a problem with that because as far as characters go, it is interesting, you’re never going to see ‘l’ as the hot new character, are you?
Sandwiches are always popular, I was just thinking a couple of days ago that I really like cooking (I made my own pastrami a few days ago), but I’d never be able to own a restaurant because I don’t think I’m clever or good enough for that class of food, but I bet I could run a great sandwich shop, because I love sandwiches, and the state of the British sandwich industry often disappoints me, especially compared to the glorious sandwiches I had in Philly (a city renowned for it’s ability to put meat between bread).
So, a tee which combines two popular things = good.
