crazy go lucky pre-order

Mike over at Crazy Go Lucky got in touch to let me know that he just put a couple of shirts up for pre-order, and if you take the plunge early (up until March 14th) then you’ll be rewarded with a 10% discount and get the shirt for $18. They’re expected to ship in mid to late April, which probably feels like longer than it is since I keep thinking it’s still February.

T-shirt News for February 16th

by Andy on February 16, 2012

burger t-shirt

I love burgers and I approve this message at TeeFury.

One of the more subtle Star Wars t-shirts at Shirt.Woot today.

I don’t think this is an original Doctor Who concept at RIPT, but it certainly is well executed.

Victorian profanity makes for an entertaining shirt at Qwertee.

A slightly abstract Mario design at Shirt Punch, very wearable though.

The Yetee have a Mega Man x Evil Dead/Army of Darkenss t-shirt.

I’ve always thought that there are surprisingly few Star Trek designs out there, OtherTees are trying to redress the balance.

What’s the deal with all the He-Man designs at the moment? This one is from Tee Minus24

24tee have a shirt for Frank Zappa fans.

I can’t call myself a fan of today’s shirt at DBH.

A Better Tomorrow have an E.T. shirt as their latest winner.

ThinkGeek are selling random shirts for as low as $5.99.

Mishka have released a lookbook teaser video for their Spring 2012 collection.

Daily Tees & News Roundup for Novmeber 7th

by Andy on November 7, 2011

Starship Troopers t-shirt

When I first saw Starship Troopers I thought it was awesome because of all the guns and explosions, and even a couple of boobs here and there, but now that I’m an adult I realise that it’s actually a bit smarter than it’s often given credit for. $10 today at TeeFury.

Daily Tee Roundup September 20th

by Andy on September 20, 2011

stephen king t-shirt

Today at TeeFury we have a shirt for $10 that apparently references Stephen King, I’m just going to have to trust them on that as I know little of his massive body of work.

There seems to be some division in the comments at RIPT saying that this Back To The Future shirt is far too obscure and nothing to do with the film. I didn’t get that it was was a BTTF shirt at first, but you don’t have to get things immediately, that’s usually half the fun, and when you’re wearing it and someone you meet immediately clocks the reference you’ve got a solid ice-breaker right there, because you know that person will be into the things you like (or a complete film bore).

‘United Tastes of America’ is a great tee from Shirt.Woot. When I woke up this morning and looked at my e-mails through hazy eyes I thought it said ‘United Taxes of America’ and I was shocked that Woot were putting out such a topical design, turns out my mind was playing tricks on me. A burger and fries will probably make for a more interesting shirt than Warren Buffett related tax debates.

Nice shirt from Nowhere Bad today, perhaps a little late for grilling season in this hemisphere, but I still like it.

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned GraphicLab before, but this Star Wars-based design is enough to pique my interest, they offer a different shirt each week, which gives you plenty of time to pick them up, and plenty of time for me to forget to post them next week.

“Bulgogi Burger” t-shirt by Decate

by Andy on July 31, 2011

bulgogi burger decate t-shirt

I’m not being stupid am I? This is a printed t-shirt, right? It’s not been crocheted?

How great is the concept of a bulgogi burger? My mouth is literally watering at the thought. Dammit I wish I lived within a few hundred miles of a Korean restaurant.

cheeseburger t-shirt

I quite like the simple design style of this, and as anyone who reads my Twitter feed will know I am also quite fond of a burger or two, so posting this was a bit of a no-brainer. I was going to post this tee, but then you guys would know that I owned a Leisure Suit Larry game back in the 90s (it came as a multi-pack with other games, I swear!).

tetris burger t-shirt

It’s surprisingly unusual to find a Tetris tee, you’d think there’d be loads of them around.

Beef Tee by atslopes

beef burger t-shirt by atslopes

I freakin’ love burgers, they don’t get the kind of respect that they deserve in the UK, since getting back from the US (almost 2 years ago now, eep!) I’ve noticed that we Brits have a tendency to overcook our burgers, even in places that describe themselves as burger restaurants, hopefully the tide will turn one day and we’ll see more burgers that aren’t cooked into oblivion.

By purchasing this tee you’ll be sending $1 to the Grace Community Center Soup Kitchen!, and you can get 15% off with the coupon code BEEF.

Burgervetica by David Schwen at Threadless

Post image for Burgervetica by David Schwen at Threadless

Bit of a pity that this wasn’t released by Threadless last week, because it would have been a shoe in for being high up on the food tee list. Unecessary fact o’ the day, last week I made and ate 3 burgers, each better than the last, and it turns out that I actually like gherkins in my burger, but only if they’re fresh and crunchy, not the limp McDs kind.

Costiness=$18 Available from Threadless

200 T-shirts for Food Lovers

by Andy on February 3, 2010

food t-shirts

If you love food and you love tees, you’re going to love this post. Regular fans of the site will be aware that my love of tees is just about rivalled by my love of food. I wouldn’t describe myself as a foodie, I just like eating good food, and if I’m going to eat something unhealthy (like a burger) then why shouldn’t I try and eat the best one possible to justify all those delicious calories?

How it’s taken me this long to put together a food t-shirt list surprises me; there are hundreds of great tees out there for gourmands and gastronomes, and hopefully you’ll find something in this list you like.

If you were directed to this site from a link, tweet, stumble or something social like that, presumably this will be your first visit to HYA, so thanks for visiting and please look around the rest of the site or sign up for the RSS feed to keep yourself updated. If you liked the list it would be great if you could share it with others (Twitter, Facebook, writing the URL on a cake in frosting). As ever the shirts are not listed in any particular order, so don’t feel that the numbers mean anything, they’re just there so I can keep track of items. This list has been split into 4 pages of 50 tees, because having lots of people loading up 200 pictures at a time would be rather stressful to my server. If you want to jump through or load all the pages ahead of time in different tabs, here are links to the second, third and fourth pages.

Now, gorge yourself on t-shirts, they’re fat-free!

Check out the list
