Catch Me A Coelocanth by Oddica

I realised that I hadn’t taken a look at Oddica for quite some time, so I popped over to the land of Odd and had this beauty staring me right in the face. Beautiful colourway, beautiful image.

We Robot by Chop Shop

Robot overload! Robot overload!

This is a great idea from the gang over at Chop Shop, a tee with silhouettes of 51 robots from “film, television, books and even one from a classic rock album cover”, which is sure to get a few conversations going where you try and work out how many of them you recognise (me? disappointingly few).

Also, Chop Shop are still running a few coupons on a few of their other tees:

Use “bushed” to get BUSH BRAINS for only $5 plus shipping.

Use “seenfor6” to get AS SEEN ON WWW for only $6 plus shipping.

Use “TENDA” to get NATIONAL DESIGN ASSOCIATION for only $10 plus shipping.

Enjoy!

I know that some people think that $25 is a lot for a shirt, I don’t because I’m British and our pound laughs at your puny dollar. But I think that even the stingiest Shirt.Woot forum poster couldn’t be annoyed at paying $25 for this tee since 100% of sales is going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as part of The Quiet Life’s Good Cause t-shirt design competition. I’ll let them explain what exactly that is:

This design is the winner of our online “DESIGN A T-SHIRT FOR A GOOD CAUSE CONTEST” and is the first t-shirt design in our new GOOD CAUSE project. The idea behind GOOD CAUSE is to help raise funds and awareness for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The cost of these shirts, the screen printing cost, and all other costs were donated to us by our vendors so that 100% of the proceeds from the sales of this design could go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. To find out more about the Cystic Firbrosis Foundation please visit cff.org

It’s a… nice graphic, not exaclty anything spectacular, but I like it because of the simplicity and use of space, in fact, I feel as if it needs this kind of simplicity for the graphic to work, and of course I like the way that the arm goes all the way to the side of the body.
