Awesome All-Over Print Simpsons t-shirt

by Andy on April 26, 2012

simpsons all over print t-shirt

Let’s get this out of the way first of all, this shirt is currently sold out, I didn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up too much just to dash them at the end of the post. I’m generally not a huge fan of all-over prints like this one since they are just so busy (and the print is usually a bit off in places, as the printers acknowledge in this case too), but I’m happy to make an exception when it comes to this shirt since I really like the concept and as someone born in 1984 it pretty much goes without saying that The Simpsons is one of my favourite shows of all-time, I’m even in that small group that feels the last couple of seasons have signaled a return to form after they were in the wilderness for a little bit.

I wonder if anyone has ever made a Where’s Waldo/Wally (if you’re a Brit) shirt in this style, seems like a perfect fit to me.

Costiness=$29.99 Currently out of stock at MyTeeSpot

comic book heroes t-shirt

Collage shirts are always fun, every time you wear them someone wants to try and work out every item on the design, and Ian Leino has kicked it up a notch by releasing a pair of collage shirts, one for heroes and one for villains. The designs are inspired by comic books, which means that I don’t recognise everything, but there’s definitely a few things in there iconic enough for everyone to recognise.

Ian is also running a few promos in conjunction with the release, I could tell you about them, but I think he did a pretty good job of it in his e-mail.

To celebrate the release of these two designs, now through Feb 20th you can save $5 when you buy both shirts using coupon codeSHAZAM“, and I’m also running a contest to see whether the Heroes or Villains fans are more dominant. For whichever side has more pre-orders, everyone who ordered that shirt will get a free, mysterious “Golden Ticket” along with their order which is good for $5, $10, $20 or even $50 credit to my shop! (Pro tip: Those who pre-order both shirts will be guaranteed to get a “Golden Ticket” with their order.)

I’ve also posted full details about the giveaway and coupon in this blog post and on the Contests and Giveaways page in my shop (where you can also get a real-time update on which ‘team’ is winning!).

Daily Tees & news for December 14th

ghostbusters t-shirt

My internet connection has been misbehaving recently so don’t be surprised if there are less updates on HYA over the next few days.

I think that the pixelation might be my favourite part of this Ghostbusters shirt at TeeFury.

Why would you get a breakfast buffet at night? Or does the text at the bottom mean that they serve breakfast, a buffet at lunch, and then table service in the evening? I can’t help but feel I’m focusing on the wrong aspect of this RIPT shirt.

The Yetee have dropped a mashup shirt for fans of Pokemon and the Evil Dead.

TeeMinus24 are trying to keep everyone happy.

How have I not seen this Star Trek concept before? 24tee

I really like this collage shirt from Loviu.

I think I remember a not-particularly-memorable fighting game where you did climb a totem pole as to cleared the levels, anyone? Cool Street Fighter design from Bamboota at Shirt Punch, and I’m glad they’re going with that big print otherwise the design would have been dwarfed by the rest of the shirt.

Another nice but hard to describe shirt from DBH.

I think this shirt on BustedTees Deal of the Day for $9 makes a lot of sense at Christmas, since it’s the time of year when your parents force you to stop playing Kinect and dust off board games instead. Busted Tees have also extended their sale, use the coupon code CHEAPTEES to get your shirts for $12.99 or less.

Here’s a first for me from Tee Mashups, a Domino’s x Star Wars mashup, well, somebody had to do it, I guess.

Internal Error is the £10 festivitee at origin68.

Shirt.Woot have a depressing t-shirt on sale today.

Stupidhurts.us have a Charlie Chaplin design that I don’t understand, possible explanations in the comments please.

A classic Greg Abbott design is back on sale at Tilteed.

PalmerCash have lots of new t-shirts and yes, that is the guy from breaking Bad.

Sneaky Studio are offering free shipping until the New Year with the coupon code SANTA.

Get 25% off your order at Dephect this month with the coupon code DEC11.

UK XFactor winners Little Mix tweeted a picture of themselves wearing shirts from Truffle Shuffle when they were interviewed by Chris Moyles on Radio 1.

Boing Boing are selling this cool half-knit zombie ski-mask that might confuse a few people on the slopes.

80sTees are giving away this Griswald Family Christmas shirt when you spend $50 or more. [via Rude Retro]

Monster Press are showing off their printing prowess by selling this sample shirt designed by Craig Robson for £5. Monster printed the grey shirt in the HYA store if you’d like to see what their printing is like on a tri-blend.

Among Villains are giving away $150 of goods, check out this Mintees post to see how you can be in the running.

Terratag are offering 25% off until Christmas day, no coupon needed, discount applied automatically at the checkout.

Two new silhouette shirts from Chop Shop

by Andy on October 19, 2011

chop shop collage

Chop Shop just keep finding new things to turn into silhouettes, don’t they?

This time around they’re giving us the hairstyles of 101 iconic women from past and present, and 31 rockers whose careers peaked in the 80s and you probably last saw on a reality show or VH1.

Two great new shirts from Camisteria

by Andy on August 11, 2011

camiseteria t-shirt

I think I’m going to have to teach myself Portuguese one of these days because it would be nice if I could understand what was going on over at Camiseteria. Clearly they have got some great designers and a great community, and yet Camiseteria rarely gets interest from the English speaking tee blog world. If you are interested in picking up one of these shirts and you aren’t in Brazil then you’ll need to go the old school route of e-mailing them to place your order.

randomness t-shirt

I know I posted an A Better Tomorrow t-shirt yesterday, but with my 2 weeks away there has obviously been quite a lot of t-shirts piling up at the door (figuratively, most of the tee packages are going to the new bloggers now for reviews), so expect to see more from the usual name that I post about than usual. In fact, just expect more posts than usual.

Costiness=€22 Buy it at A Better Tomorrow on black or white

mister black tee

In that graphic above you can find all three of the latest releases from Mister Black Tee, which is rather convenient for me. The new shirt is just called ‘Bad’ and is a collage of 44 different villains, such as Darth Vader who you can see in the bottom left of the graphic above. The two reprints are actually more like reissues as they have been tweaked slightly, with a more vivid red being used in the print, and the addition of a tank top for the ladies. Shirts are priced at €24.99 each, which is pushing it a little bit, but they are cool t-shirts so its not like you’re wasting your money.

fictional weapons t-shirt

Of course it’s by Chop Shop, who else has spent the past couple of years putting silhouettes of things onto t-shirts? Doesn’t stop it being cool though, I think that my favourite is the shark with a frickin’ laser beam on it’s head!

Costiness=$25 Buy it at Chop Shop’s temporary Supermarket shop

aboveEarth space collage t-shirt

Just for a change Chop Shop have released another silhouette collage, this time showing twenty-three historic missions into space. My eye was immediately drawn to SpaceShipOne at the bottom of the collage (labelled 04) because I thought it hadn’t been into space, but apparently it has, achieving the first ever privately-funded journey into space back in 2004. It’s a pretty cool design and I’m pretty sure that all you science-y readers out there will like it. Oh, and of course, this shirt was released on Tuesday because it was the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin making the first manned spaceflight.

keshone x dephect t-shirt

Pretty cool, huh? I’m not cool enough to know who keshone is, but I know know he’s a grafitti artist and he can make a sweet tee design, so he’s alright in my book.

Costiness=£24.99 Buy it at Dephect (also available on cyan)

star wars han solo blaster t-shirt

Inspired by the classic Han Solo quote “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.” this design collects famous guns, blasters, disintigrators, rayguns and pulse pistols from 26 different movies and television shows (with a limit of just one weapon per franchise). Several of these created universes have a wealth of awesome weaponry so I’ve done my best to choose what I felt was the most iconic single weapon from each one.

Usually when Ian releases a new design, it is available on TeeFury one day, then shows up in his own store the next, so that it can have the immediate exposure that TeeFury provides, and then be given a much longer lifespan in his own store. I’d like to see more artists following suit, but I can understand how it’s not always feasible.

Ian will be giving away the shirt for free to one lucky winner on March 31st, so click through if you’re interested.

Costiness-$19 Buy it from Ian Leino’s store

mister black tee hero t-shirt

I don’t have the exact numbers, but I think it’s fair to estimate that there are at least a thousand little heroic characters in this design, at least!

Or maybe it’s more like a hundred, still, that’s a lot of cute little hero characters.

Costiness=€24.99 Buy it a MisterBlack Tee (get free shipping until Jan. 7th with the promo code MERRY XMAS)

I don’t really understand how all of these items go together (and thus the pointless title), but I certainly do like the way it looks and that should probably be enough.

what is going on with my mind gray t-shirt by heavyhand for bunker designs

Hey, look at this cool new design by Wotto heavyhand. Nah, I’m just kidding, wotto doesn’t own this style, more than one person can make cool collage tees, and whilst it isn’t that expensive at $20, Bunker are celebrating their new look website by knocking 25% off your order by using the coupon code NEWLOOK at the checkout.

chop shop well done t-shirt

Put this on the list of awesome things that you can do with your day (besides road tripping it with some buddies to see Alice in Wonderland at the IMAX in Manchester, which is my plan for the day, I’ll be the guy wearing the HYA tee!). Chop Shop, who are well known for putting silhouettes onto t-shirts, have teamed up with WellDone.org, the people who are well known for creating clean water for communities that don’t have it, to release this tee, from which ALL of the proceeds are going to WellDone.org.

Usually I bitch and moan that there’s no point buying a charitee because part of your donation doesn’t go to the charity it goes to the tee and you just wear it to make yourself as smug as Bono and George Clooney carpooling in a Prius to a whale meat protest, but in this case I can’t really see a downside, the charity gets all the money, you get a cool shirt, more people become aware of WellDone, and presumably Chop Shop are willing to take the hit on selling tees at a loss to themselves because it feels good (and I’m sure the publicity doesn’t hurt!).

Costiness=$23 Guys buy it here, gals buy it here [via PCT]
