Hi Andy,
I thought you and your readers would be interested in hearing about the Design Comp we have going on here at Das Monk right now. It is open to all artists and designers, with the winner grabbing US$500 plus a spot in our Artist Collective (and a t-shirt no doubt!). Last year we had over 500 entries and we expect this year to be even bigger so we’d love you to spread the word via Hide Your Arms.

I don’t much care for the price tag, but I absolutely love this design, it’s beautiful.

Naturally, I was a little surprised to see an e-mail telling me about a winter sale this morning, yes, it’s raining out and not nearly warm enough for a June day, but it’s not exactly Winter now, is it? Of course, I’m living in the Northern Hemisphere, whereas Das Monk are an Autralian brand, and it’s winter there. That said, it’s a fair bet that their winteer is warmer than my summer.

As a standalone design it’s okay, but could really be brought to life by a well planned outfit… not that guys plan this kind of thing, tough guys like me just throw on whatever they find… and we definitely don’t exfoliate.
