A blog about hoodies & t-shirts, with news from the independent clothing world

Get the water from the source

My internet is being very slow and silly today (where’ve all the images on the internet gone?), but I couldn’t bear to think of you all going without advice from your preacher of hoods, so check out my del.icio.us for a load of fresh links that I’ll be using over the next few weeks.

Syndicated odds and ends

Just dropping a little note to say that I have now added syndication functionality to Hide Your Arms, I personally only use del.icio.us and enjoy being able to tag things from the Firefox toolbar, but I don’t know much about the other social bookmarking networks, so hopefully this will make it easier for you to remember your favourite Hide Your Arms posts (and digg me into bandwidth oblivion).

I have removed the AdBrite box saying ‘your ad here’, no one was biting, so there’s no point wasting space on the sidebar when it isn’t going to effective use. There is an advertising page now though, in case anyone wants to get their name out there, prices very flexible, if I like your company I might even give you a weeks skyscraper for free.

Thanks to the people I don’t know who added me as their friend on MySpace. I certainly was right about us being an attractive bunch!

Hiyar tastes good

I’m thinking that Hiyar may well be my new TomKat-esque name for Hide Your Arms. So get used to it, though it may be dropped at any time (i.e. when I realise it’s silly).

I’ve set up a del.icio.us account for Hide Your Arms, and whenever I find something that I might use in the future I’m going to tag it to my account. This way you can get a sneak-peek into what you might see in the coming weeks, the stuff that didn’t quite make the cut, and a few non-clothes related links, since I’m not that cotton obsessed. If you don’t like my writing but you like my choices, then this could be a good option for you; seriously, I’m almost telling you not to visit the site!

Those of you clever enough to use RSS will be able to get my del.icio.us RSS feed to simplify the process even further.

Link: HideYourArms.com is del.icio.us (what predictable link-titling…)

P.S. whilst we’re talking social bookmarking thanks to the two people out there that added Hiyar to their list, all exposure is appreciated, and the same goes for Unled.
