It’s always unfortunate when a company decides to shut it’s doors and stop selling tees, but in this case as
District Cotton closes, Brett, the guy behind DC, is keeping in the tee business with a brand called
Good Tee that will be providing socially responsible t-shirt printing. Of course, with District Cotton closing down, they’ve got some stock that needs to be disposed of, which means organic tees for less than $10, and a few of the tees are $5, so expect them to be snapped up fast!

Organic tees for as low as $5 (though most are $10)? Ummmm, yes please!
Check it, yo!

I keep seeing totally lame ads and signs around Philly about Valentine’s Day, usually promoting really lame gift ideas, almost all of which run with the slogan “nothing says I love you like… .”
However, chocolates are a classic, and you know that if I can shoehorn tees into the mix I’m a happy bunny. If you spend more than $20 at District Cotton on anything, they’ll throw in some chocolates from Sweet Riot for free during the month of February (I’ve never heard of them but am assured they’re good). I don’t really ‘get’ the tee, if you could personalise it somehow maybe then I’d understand it, but as is it just feels incomplete somehow; the cut and vintage-style are a pretty cute look though. Maybe it makes sense to those of you that are in love, because I am seriously contemplating going to watch Monster Trucks on Valentine’s Day (naturally excluding me from the aforementioned category), which I think is hilarious in theory, but would be utterly tragic and depressing in reality.
Costiness=$20 (what a coincidence!) Buy ‘I Heart’ at District Cotton

I can’t work out which of
District Cotton’s tees are new, but I guess that if I don’t remember any of them then they’re all new to me, which is why the gallery includes items that they’ve probably been selling for ages.
From now until the end of the year, DC are offering free shipping on all orders that exceed $15, which is a very reasonable amount to be offering a freebie on. All you have to do to qualify for the free shipping is choose the “recession sucks” shipping option at the checkout. Sorry people who don’t put cheese on everything (I kid! I kid!), but this offer is only available to people in the US.

District Cotton have got a site wide
sale going on at the moment (they also have a
fairly nifty blog), which lasts until the end of July, which doesn’t give you all that much time to dilly dally about what you want to buy. Printed tees are going for between $5 and $9 each, and the blank
hoodies are on sale too.
