New clothes, new lookbook, new video (not suitable for epileptics, but very cool) and a new website for Disturbia, who once again make me wonder whether I actually am a fan of horror labels (I certainly seem to have been posting them a lot recently).

Disturbia’s Spring/Summer Line “Excess all Areas”

disturbia clothing

It’s really interesting to see Disturbia branching out and growing beyond being a company that sells t-shirts and hoodies to being more of a lifestyle brand. I’ve made it clear in the past that their style isn’t necessarily something that I would wear, although I would happily pick up a few of these items (the non-horror/gore ones) which probably shows that as they’re growing and diversifying they’re also starting to appeal to those of us that don’t want to wear a shirt with a torrent of blood on it.

30% off at Disturbia for Black Friday (20% off all weekend)

by Andy on November 25, 2010

disturbia clothing black friday 2010

Here’s another British brand getting in on the Black Friday action, even if here Black Friday actually refers to the debauchery that occurs on the streets on the last Friday evening before Christmas (traditionally the last work day before Christmas holidays). In fact, around where I live it’s called ‘Black Eye Friday’, though I’ve never seen a single fight on that night so it’s probably all a bit of a myth (or I’m going to the ‘wrong’ places).

Decent saving to be had at Disturbia this weekend, though obviously you’ll be kicking yourself on Saturday and Sunday if you make an order since the offer is even more tempting on the Friday with tha extra 10% discount.

We all know how I feel about horror and gore designs (I can see the talent, I can’t see myself wearing it), but even I’ve got to admit that Disturbia are one of the best out there for this kind of thing, then again, when you’re called Disturbia it’s fair enough that you aren’t out to please everyone. The hoodies are £44 each and printed onto American Apparel Flex Fleece blanks.

Disturbia release their A/W 2010 line, summer is definitely over

Thumbnail image for Disturbia release their A/W 2010 line, summer is definitely over

Remember a few months ago when I thought it was a good idea to start introducing a bit more horror and gore to HYA since there’s a market for it and some of you guys like that kind of thing? Well, it didn’t last too long simply because I forgot to put the effort in [...]

Thumbnail image for Coupon Code for 25% off at Disturbia Clothing

I wish I could tell you how long this coupon code will be live for but I really don’t know. All I know is that they’re trying to clear out some room to make space for their summer line, and since it’s already summer then you can’t expect SUNSTROKE to be saving you 25% for [...]

Thumbnail image for 30% off at Disturbia this weekend

An aful lot of people seem to be having sales this weekend. I’m sure there are more out there, but it’s a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK/Memorial Day Weekend in the US, so I think I’m going to give myself a break, which explains why I spent the afternoon flying a kite. Yep, [...]

Disturbia’s A/W09 collection is several shades of badass

04.09.2009

I guess I should come over all neutral when I’m writing about one of my advertisers, just tell you that they’ve released some new designs and rebuilt their website to look like an amp and ;eave it at that, but one of the good things about the advertisers on HYA is that I’m actually pretty [...]

Disturbia design for The Prodigy

20.08.2009

I wouldn’t say that I was a fan of the Prodigy, but I remember ‘Spitfire’ being a song we used to play while pre-gaming (a phrase I learned in America and like a bit too much), so I always associate them with good times… I may well have cleared a few dance floors when their [...]

Credit Crunch? Two new tees and a jacket from Disturbia Clothing

29.06.2009

I think that the irony police might be on the lookout for the Disturbia crew after they’ve released these designs (which you can buy, by the way), about excessive spending. I really like the ‘Keep Buying and Stay Silent’ tee, which is another clever riff on the ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ poster that you [...]
