WeLoveFine.com just released some new Dr. Who designs that all revolve around those villainous Daleks. As you can tell, there’s quite a few random pop culture references in there, some of which seem a bit pointless, but there are some good ones too.
Shirts are $25 as usual and you can see the whole range (there’s more than I’ve shown above) on the dedicated Dalek page.

I could be totally off base here, but I was under the impression that The Doctor wasn’t actually a medical doctor, and as such the M.D. is pointless in the House mashup above. I’ve checked Wikipedia since I’m not a big fan of the show and can’t find any reference to it, though he does have a PhD in cheesemaking(!?) so if anything there should be a PhD after his name on that shirt. It’s that lack of attention to detail that is a bit disappointing from Snorg. The Millenium Falcon design is very nice, and the mustache design is destined to be worn by people that aren’t funny for many years to come.

Not a bad week at Tshirt Laundry, but I do wonder who is going to buy them. Releasing a Star Trek design now makes perfect sense, but are people really that bothered about the use of lens flares? Similarly, the ‘Installation Wizard’ joke is a bit of fun, but who is going to buy it, have they produced a design that is just aimed at sysadmins?

It’s nice to see WearViral growing with designs that wouldn’t be too out of place on the daily sites like TeeFury and RIPT except that they have their own style, and if I’m not mistaken they are also all original designs that haven’t done the rounds before finding a home. For the first week of sale (aka, until this Sunday) shirts are $15.99 rising to $19.95 after that, and throughout hte month of May you can get 20% off your order with the coupon code APEMAY.

1. “The Girl Who Waited” is an interesting design because it occupies both the #1 and #2 design at RedBubble this week, as it is a collaboration between the frequently posted Megan Lara and the less frequented posted Harry Gordon, who have both posted the design on their respective accounts. So you can buy it from Megan or Harry, your choice.

2. “Workaholics – DEMAMP CAMP” is probably something to do with a movie I haven’t seen.

3. “Owl” is probably the worst t-shirt that I’ve ever seen in the top 10, it is just awful… but I suspect this is another case of people using RedBubble as a printing service for some kind of of event. Even so…

4. “Vintage Michelangelo” – Fair play to harebrained, this is nice work and I’m sure we’ll be seeing it at the daily sites soon.

5. “Dark Types – Faint Attacks” – Good thing that Kari Fry tagged this shirt otherwise I wouldn’t have known that it was something to do with Pokemon.

6. “YOU ONLY YOLO ONCE – Workaholics” – This must be another reference to the movie Workaholics, otherwise this design needs to burn in a fiery pit.

7. “LNK” – Drew Wise drops a nice Game Boy design.

8. “Flatbush Zombies” – This is an unofficial design for a hip hop crew that I’ve never heard of because I’m not cool.

9. “Flight Club (Galaxy)” – It was about damn time that we had a Flight of the Navigators tee.

10. “Push My Buttons” – This picture swept the internet recently with it’s combination of laughter and boobs (yeah, now you clicked the link), so this guy is cashing in on that with a keyboard design.

Some say that there is a power that flows through the universe, binding the galaxies together and keeping all things in harmony. Others know this to be true, and know that that power is actually a mad man with a box. Doctor Who and Star Wars collide in this 6-color design.
Indeed, the Fez is strong with this one!
You know what, I’ve never seen an episode of the ‘new’ Doctor Who, I keep menaing to check it out, but it just doesn’t really appeal to me, and there always seems to be something else on that I want to watch, but through t-shirts I have learned that the Fez is something of a big deal, even if I don’t turly understand what relevance it has, or if it helps this shirt ‘make sense’. Still, it’s excellent artwork as usual from Ian, even if the concept doesn’t grab me personally I can always respect his level of talent.
Costiness=$20 Buy it from Ian Leino and be sure to check out the rest of his store for more Star Wars and Doctor Who t-shirts

And yes, we do ship internationally.

Andy: Sure, I may have already posted this shirt in the daily post earlier in the week, but with the weekly sites I think it’s fair to give them a bit more attention.

Andy: Eagle-eyed readers will have noticed that GraphicLab weren’t in the daily roundup today and this is why, I thought they deserved a bit more attention since it’s their birthday. Also, be sure to look out from them at Comic Con in San Diego this weekend.
Y’know, you’d have thought that with me writing about Doctor Who almost every day I’d have taken the time to watch at least one episode of the show since it’s return to television… nope (there’s only so much time in the day!). I do get most of the references now though, so I’m not that bad. Another clever tee from Glennz as usual.

I went down the rabbit hole a bit with this shirt, and still I have no good information.
I spotted this Salvador Dalek shirt first on this Tumblr, and know what Doctor Who fans you guys are I decided to try and find out where to buy it.
The image looked like it was taken at a market or on a stall of some kind (based on the metal frame the shirts are stuck too), which didn’t give me much of a clue, but did make me feel a bit like Sherlock. I then Googled Salvador Dalek and came up with many worse shirts, until I came across this eBay auction selling the design with the seller claiming to have bought it at a British beer festival, it being too big for him, so he’s selling it.
I then went back to the original Tumblr and realised that the image was linked to Imgur, the popular photo service that was built by a Redditor and is used by many Redditors. This then led me back to the original thread on Reddit which was started by the person who took the picture, stating that it was seen at the Cambridge Beer Festival (where more than 100,000 pints were drank last week). Another commenter mentioned that they’d bought it at the Brighton Beer Festival last year, so I assume that means the sellers travel around different festivals selling shirts, which hopefully means that they might have a web presence of some kind.
Alas, that is where the trail ends, I could gain any more info about the name of the company selling them, so I’m throwing the net a bit wider and involving you guys on the off chance that one of you has seen the shirt being sold somewhere or know the designer/company.

Pretty nice selection from BustedTees this week, with my particular favourite being the 11th Doctor novelty costume shirt even though I don’t watch Doctor Who.
Sorry about the level of disruption to the site at the moment, I’m acting as something of a nightwatchman on a building site for my other job, which does change my schedule around quite a lot as you’d imagine. The other bloggers will hopefully be picking up the slack and I see that Matt & Leah have already posted a couple of great articles.
Metroid gets some attention in the TeeFury shirt above.

Prune juice has never appealed to me, but apparently it appeals to Shirt.Woot.
