As someone that has a Doraemon toy sat on top of my PC tower I like this. It’s entirely superficial as I’ve never seen anything that has Doraemon in it, but I like the way it looks and that’s good enough for now. I’m pretty surprised that more brands don’t go in for the “zombified cartoon character” market, especially considering the massive success that zombie Mario had last year.

I’ve been wearing their hats at every opportunity whenever the sun has come out over the past few weeks (hats are great for lazy guys with annoying hair), so you could literally say I’ve had Wrongwroks on my mind recently. Not hats in this update, but a few new “hey, is that a rip off, oh, right, it’s a parody” tees for your consumption.

A few people from the tee world sent me present over the festive period, and as they are gifts I don’t think it would be right for me to review them ‘properly’, but it would be a bit rude of me not to post a few pictures of the goodies. First up,
Wrongwroks, Tony sent over a couple of tees and a hat. The only problem with me wearing
Wrongwroks is that I have to spend a couple of minutes explaining to everyone that asks me “why does Spongebob look funny?” that it’s a mashup of Spongebob and Doraemon… and then I have to explain who Doaremon is.

Just when I think I’ve run out of
Wrongwroks news, Tony drops another slew of releases, does this man ever sleep?
There’s a nice and healthy amount of hoodies available this time around, as well as more tees and caps, riffing on the usual “hey, is that copyright infringement or fair use?” themes. One of the special this releases is called ‘Nat In the Box’ and features most of the tees Wrongwroks sold (and a couple of new ones) with super-cute model Nat on them, and comes in a limited edition box. There’s a bunch of pics in the gallery, so check them out.

Wrongwroks got
ripped by some brand over in Korea (lets not get into whether he can be ripped when he does so many mashups), so he’s taken their copy, copied it, and released it with the text “Colonize [the Korean brand - I think] steals Wrongwroks”.
Also, new hats, new sticker sets, new mobile phone straps, and more Dorabob. There’s a big gallery of the new stuff after the break.
