It’s a fair bet that Freshjive had much higher things in mind when they created this other than to make people like me look at it and go, “ooh, what a nice colourway.”

I’m leaving my soapbox in the cupboard (because really, what’s the point in anyone else talking about politics on the internet?), and just going to say that this is a pretty stunning design… though it would be nice if the ink from the Hope image ran down naturally rather than cutting off in a straight line. Actually now that I’ve seen that I’m going off this tee a bit.

It’s not often that you see a
hoodie which has shoulder straps on it, in fact I don’t think I can’t recall ever seeing one, which makes this hoodie from Freshjive quite the novelty. Other than the shoulder straps it is a fairly simple hoodie, with the exception of ‘Freshjive’ being written on the lower back, in a style which is a bit too gangster for me, but the black/heather grey contrast works pretty well.

Freshjive have been impressing me more and more recently, although I guess it might just be the case that I’ve just been taking more notice of them since picking up one of their beanies.

I’m not entirely sure whether this is an asymmetric zip, but it appears to be, and I like that, it just gives this jacket a little bit of extra interest and makes it stand out from the competition, and the unusual way that the over-sized lapel on the left (right for the wearer) seems to come from underneath the zip is a pretty cool idea too.

I bought a
Freshjive beanie at one of the many
Exit by Double Park stores in Hong Kong, which reminded me to take another look at the label, and in doing so I found this fun womens t-shirt. I can’t quite decide whether this design is a logo tee or not, since it has the words ‘fresh’ and ‘jive’ on it, but they aren’t together, so I guess that if you know the brand then you’ll be like “Hey, you like Freshjive too? We should discuss recent events,” but if they didn’t then it would be more a case of “hey, bubblegum on a t-shirt, what a world!”
