Quite proud of myself for knowing that this shirt is a play on the famous Magritte pipe piece. Sure, I Googled it to save my blushes in case I was wrong, but I was right in the first place.

When I first looked at this shirt I saw a pumpkin and thought that laFraise were starting things a bit early for Halloween, but it’s actually a zombified orange sucking on a recently deceased orange… which is definitely not something that would happen on Halloween.
LaFraise have also added three more designs to their ‘Unlimited’ range (shorthand for shirts that are being reprinted by POD technology), all of which can be seen in the gallery. Strangely, in the shop there is no way to differentiate the regular winners from the Unlimited reprints, you’d have thought that LaFraise would want to indiciate which is which since they use different printing techniques (and I’m pretty sure most people would prefer a screenprint to even the most cutting edge of POD technology).

I can’t really work out why I like this tee since it’s basically just an orange circle, but I do, simple is good sometimes.

For this review you can basically wash, rinse, and repeat what I said in my first Melon Kid review: the logo is cute but it’s still a logo shirt; the shirts are high quality and I believe custom made; and that you shouldn’t write off Melon Kid as being a ‘logo tee’ company because they make up a small selection of their inventory, in fact they actually have some great designs.

I’ve gotten into the habit of taking an apple to work with me most days as an ‘emergency’ if I end up not being able to leave for lunch (which is usually my own fault for not being able to say ‘no’ when people ask me to do tasks), but I seem to always end up eating it by about 11:30 anyway, so maybe I’m going to have to start taking a second ‘emergency’ apple. Man, planning for my own lack of willpower and need to label things to make them sound exciting is tough.
