A blog about hoodies & t-shirts, with news from the independent clothing world

It turns out that when I wrote about that Marx hoodie by Won Hundred a week ago that it wasn’t cheap by some freak administrative error, they’re actually having a big sale with some pieces up to 70% off, and considering Glass Boutique deal in premium labels this is a good opportunity to get top-class clothes at far more reasonable prices.

I know what you’re thinking. A hoodie? On Hide Your Arms? Can it possibly be?

I know I’ve been neglecting the arms a bit a lot recently, but its hardly the weather for them, is it? Still, I should probably try and keep things on track since I know it isn’t warm everywhere, which is why I’m pointing you in the direction of this hoodie by Won Hundred. The funnel hood is cool, the small zip on the side of the funnel is cool, the zip on top of the kangaroo pouch is cool, and its price being cut from £79 to £23.70 is very cool.

I think they only have one left in stock (size XL) so if you want it, buy it.

Simply by voting in their design competition your name will be put into a virtual hat (or maybe a real hat, who knows!) and 3 lucky people will win the winning design. Not bad eh?

Click on through and get your vote on.

Check out Glass Boutique’s blog for some of the better entries to their design competition, I’m pretty impressed by the quality level. I’m guessing that they aren’t getting the same level of interest and publicity as the big guns like Threadless and DBH, this could be a good opportunity for people who are new to the t-shirt design scene to get some experience in the design competition world.

Glass boutique are running their second annual t-shirt design competition (CCTV Stares, the winner of the first competition, I reviewed) with a first prize of £250 cash and £150 in GB vouchers up for grabs. As is de rigeur, all the accepted designs will be voted upon and the design with the most votes will be the winner, with a couple of runners-up being decided by a panel of judges. There doesn’t seem to be any theme to the contest, so go crazy. Check out the competition details here.Glass Boutique also have a sale going on at the moment where some items are up to 50% off, since GB carry some premium brands this could be a good chance for you to grab some chic on the cheap.
