I always have such high hopes for glow-in-the-dark prints, I want to like them a lot, but in reality they never quite match up to my expectations. The glow is never bright enough for me to be happy, and if it doesn’t glow enough, then what’s the point?
I could be wrong about Threadless‘ glow-in-the-dark prints, they could be bright, I’ve never actually seen one myself to judge it, so I might pick this one up for testing because the concept is just wonderful and one of the reasons why I like glow in the dark for adding an extra dimension to designs.

You know what I first thought when I saw these new (and new options for old designs) from
Enclothe? That guy is consistent. I’m sure that isn’t the most exciting way that you can describe someone’s work, but Enclothe never seem to put out a dud when it comes to their designs, I like everything in their store, and they aren’t all over the place with the style, so you know what you’re in for when something new is coming up.
One thing that I think is new to the Enclothe range is the use of glow-in-the-dark ink, which is used to great effect on the Ragnarok zipper hoodie. I think my favourite of the four is the Eternal Embrace hoodie, because the whole point of that design is that these two people were locked in that embrace for 5,000 years after their burial in Italy, and every time you unzip the hoodie to tear them apart, genius!
There’s a few detailed views after the break in the gallery for those that want a closer look at the artwork.

Kat found an absolute beast of a tee a couple of weeks back that really caught my eye. I don’t actually have any glow in the dark tees in my collection, but I’m always fascinated by them, and I especially like it when glow ink is used in a way that is actually important to the design, rather than just used for the sake of making you glow.Costiness=£15
