As if to prove I don’t treat my advertisers any better than other brands, here’s Disturbia’s latest line…. which they release on February 1st and I’ve only just taken a look at now.
To say it looks as if some of the designs have felt the touch of Godmachine is something of an understatement, it’s fair to say that GM is one ingredient that helps to make the Disturbia loaf rise… I think I just got lost in my own metphor… GM tees = Good. Of course, Disturbia aren’t a one man line, and all their other designers appear to know how to put together a good tee too.
If you’re not aboard the horror train then this line probably won’t be for you, and some of these designs aren’t to my wearing taste either, but I can appreciate the skill that’s gone into them. Also, one tee has boobs on it, which makes this post vaguely NSFW, so if you get fired for looking at HYA, what a way to go, huh?

I guess I should come over all neutral when I’m writing about one of my advertisers, just tell you that they’ve released some new designs and rebuilt their website to look like an amp and ;eave it at that, but one of the good things about the advertisers on HYA is that I’m actually pretty proud to have them onboard because they produce high quality designs, as this latest release from
Distubria Clothing is clearly proof. Frank from
Disturbia told me they think this is their strongest collection yet, and I’d be inclined to agree with him. However, if you aren’t into the style as displayed in the photo above, and whilst zombie horror is a popular style at the moment it isn’t to everyone’s taste, then your options will be a bit more limited, but there will be a few tees in the range that should still be of interest (they’re all in the gallery if you want to check them out there).

Godmachine was nice enough to send over a poster to brighten up the office, and I think you’ll agree, even with this crappy shaky photo (at least it will stop someone from ripping it off!), it looks pretty sweet. The post is still available
from his store as part of a double-pack for £12.50.

I don’t really mention Godmachine much on HYA, mostly because the kind of tees that he designs are very much based in the horror world, and that’s not really me (hell, I jumped at the ’scary part’ in Harry Potter when I went to the cinema last night). However, I can recognise an extremely talented illustrator when I see one, and Godmachine is most certainly that. I think I might actually prefer these prints to this style of tee, maybe horror posters are going to be a gateway drug to a new & scary world of tees that would make old people on the street decide that I’m a “bad’n”. Also, judging by
his tweets, Godmachine’s a nice guy too.
The “slightly larger than A3″ posters are £7.50 and are available from his Big Cartel store, but they’re in pretty limited quantities, and he has a following, so if you want one, order quick.
