may the fez be with you t-shirt

Some say that there is a power that flows through the universe, binding the galaxies together and keeping all things in harmony. Others know this to be true, and know that that power is actually a mad man with a box. Doctor Who and Star Wars collide in this 6-color design.

Indeed, the Fez is strong with this one!

You know what, I’ve never seen an episode of the ‘new’ Doctor Who, I keep menaing to check it out, but it just doesn’t really appeal to me, and there always seems to be something else on that I want to watch, but through t-shirts I have learned that the Fez is something of a big deal, even if I don’t turly understand what relevance it has, or if it helps this shirt ‘make sense’. Still, it’s excellent artwork as usual from Ian, even if the concept doesn’t grab me personally I can always respect his level of talent.

Post image for Inkefx drop a new hoodie and it’s just lovely

Inkefx do seem to have a knack of producing quite minimal but iconic items that just about anyone would like to wear, and this t-shirt style hoodie (i.e. it’s thinner than a normal hoodie) is no exception. As a bonus you can get 15% off with the coupon code HIDEYOURARMS.

hello kitty skull design

I am really digging this, nice work by Joby, hopefully Sanrio won’t come knocking on Blure’s door with a C&D. I wish it was available as a t-shirt and not just a tank top, but that’s just me, Summer is coming and people want to get their arms out.

xtremeplaypen t-shirts

I don’t have any kind of a problem with people putting half naked women on t-shirts, I just don’t know when I’d get to wear them, perhaps on a night out clubbing, but even then I wouldn’t want to be stood next to my girlfriend with that image on my t-shirt.

It is a cool design though, if I remove my personal feeling about ‘boobs on tees’ I like the style of the photo and think it works well as a design. I guess I’m not their target demographic. Still, I’m always going to post this stuff because it lets me get away with posting boobs, because despite being 26 I’m still very much a child inside.

battlestar t-shirt

As usual, I haven’t actually seen all of Battlestar, but this is one show that I do intend to watch in it’s entirety at some point, because I watched the first series and was very impressed. That means that just for a change, I actually understand what a movie-referencing t-shirt at a daily shirt site actually means!

Pick up this shirt from $10 at RIPT today.

when I was yuong hop scotch t-shirt

I love this design from laFraise, it’s just gorgeous, although I can’t decide whether I like the choice of a heather grey for the shirt, it’s obviously works really well on the hop scotch portion of the design but then I feel there’s not enough of a contrast on the green section of the design. I can’t decide what would have been a better choice for the shirt colour though, any thoughts?

Two great new shirts from Camisteria

camiseteria t-shirt

I think I’m going to have to teach myself Portuguese one of these days because it would be nice if I could understand what was going on over at Camiseteria. Clearly they have got some great designers and a great community, and yet Camiseteria rarely gets interest from the English speaking tee blog world. If you are interested in picking up one of these shirts and you aren’t in Brazil then you’ll need to go the old school route of e-mailing them to place your order.

arrested development t-shirt

They’ve been re-running Arrested Development on FX here in the UK, and every so often I catch an episode and it really is very, very good. I do wonder what would have happened if it had kept running though, would Michael Cera and Jason Bateman be turning down movie offers to stay on with the show? Would they have even gotten cast in movies if they were still making the show?

one hundred charity water t-shirt

One Hundred are company that launched recently who are trying to help give people access to clean water. I live in one of the wettest places in England and we have our own water supply, it’s raining outside right now, so it’s quite hard for me to imagine a situation in which I wouldn’t have an abundance of water, but for a lot of people (approximately 1 in 7 people) that is a situation they face every day, either not having an easily accessible source of water, or any water that can get to is dirty and causes illness or disease.

One Hundred are giving 100% of their profits ($6 average per purchase) to Charity Water, with the initial aim of raising $5000 for charity. So far they’ve raised $285, which isn’t an insignificant amount, but they still clearly have a long way to go. Their shirts don’t play on their charity aspect, which is a tactic I certainly approve of, by all means help a charity by buying a shirt, but advertising how charitable you are on your chest is a bit classless, so thanks for keeping it classy One Hundred.

“Hide & Seek” t-shirt by Choc Ice

by Andy on August 7, 2011

hide & seek t-shirt

If you were wondering, yes, this t-shirt was inspired by the Imogen Heap song.

This is a lovely new UK clothing line, they haven’t got a massive range yet but they do have a few tasty shirts, and I really like their name, it works well for a British brand (because Americans probably don’t even know what a choc ice is).

made in ca t-shirt

Part of me thinks that I shouldn’t like a t-shirt that is this simple, but another part of me thinks if I like something then I should just accept it, even if $28 for a one-colour print does seem a little much (I know, I know, artists cost money).

supervillain terratag

To be honest I don’t understand the background to this shirt, but I certainly do like the style and use of negative space. Grab it in grey or blue for £28.99.

error t-shirt

I really wish that this shirt didn’t have the brand name on it, because I feel like it would work better as a stand-alone art piece, but it’s still pretty cool as is.

monster killer green t-shirt

You know why I post laFraise every week? Because I know that every week they’re going to release something that I want to wear, and this week is no exception, really impressed with what has entered the store.

Hopefully we’ll be seeing even more of the same from next week onwards as they’re going to be kicking it up to 3 shirt releases, which is approximately 50% more awesome than at the moment! I’m not sure if this is a permanent situation, but they will definitely be releasing 3 shirts a week for the next 3 weeks at a minimum.

Shield T-shirt by Megabolt

by Andy on May 28, 2011

megabolt t-shirt

It feels quite rare at the moment that I just post a random shirt from a company I’ve never heard of that haven’t e-mailed me, I’m constantly trying to give you the latest and greatest news, but there’s just not enough time in the day without me posting even more than I already do, so here’s a tee that I just really like.

When you go onto Kinkiking’s site at the top right of the page there is a little quote that says “just another tees shop,” but I disagree wholeheartedly, they seem to have it all together and this Spring/Summer collection is pretty impressive (there’s m,. office apocalypse t-shirt

Looks like I’m getting HYA’s minimum weekly quota of Star Wars t-shirts out of the way early! To be fair to 604Republic, this is a really good Star Wars tee, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone ‘explode’ a blaster before, maybe it’s something that they could turn into a series, exploding famous fictional weapons?

As far as I know the ‘Office Apocalypse’ tee is original, meaning that it isn’t based on a movie or game as 604R’s tees often are. There’s nothing wrong with it, but it’s just not grabbing me, possibly because whilst I do work in an office, that office is in my home, and isn’t a cubicle in a nondescript building so I haven’t yet developed a hatred for life in an office.
