Post image for Die Hard, Halo, Django, and the Walking Dead t-shirts at BustedTees this week

If you’re wondering why the Die Hard shirt says “Mister Falcon” instead of the rather more well known and more NSFW version, it’s because in the edited for TV version that is the word phrase that was dubbed over the original. The more you know!

T-shirt news for March 26th

by Andy on March 26, 2012

I find it kind of odd that people would want to wear the mascot for an operating system, but this shirt from TeeFury ain’t too bad.

Shirt.Woot revamp the original cute cat poster.

I like The IT Crowd, I have a NES under my TV, and I like t-shirts. I like this from RIPT. Pretty sure I’ve written about this design in the past…

Daily Tees & News for November 9th

by Andy on November 9, 2011

gremlins t-shirt

Very cool Gremlins shirt at TeeFury today.

Tilteed are lucky that they’ve got such a solid back catalogue.

I don’t get it, but I like it at Stupidhurts.us

Decisions, decisions. Shirt.Woot

Cool Aliens-based shirt at RIPT today, though there is a little debate in their comments as to whether there are hints of Halo in there too.

Ahh, America’s pastime, watching Star Wars whilst eating Cheetos. OtherTees

Huh, what are the chances that two shirt companies do the same logo style design, and that they’re next to each other in my daily bookmarks folder? 24tee

Really nice from Loviu today, I think this style of tee is where they shine.

This Blues Brothers shirt was at TeeRaiders last week, and now it’s at Catch of the Day Tee.

Should this Harry Potter shirt not to be do to with Butter Beer? Shirt Punch

Trippy new shirt at DBH today.

Street Casuals have dropped a load of new Actual Pain goods.

T-shirt designer Gaunty is going to be running the LA marathon and is raising money for charity the same time. Donating to a worthy cause is it’s own reward, but actual rewards are pretty sweet too, so Gaunty has lined up a bit of a competition, giving away shirts that he has designed to people that have donated money.

GAMAGO are holding a massive once day sale at their shop in San Francisco, there will be booze!

VillainPlanet have released a couple of new poker-themed shirts that I assume are to do with a tournament and league in their native Portugal.

2SickBastards will be selling their tees for £11 on the 11th by the look of things.

Sin Star Clothing just launched their own fixed gear bikes, which look cool but obviously I have no idea if they’re good, there are mountains on every side of my house, a fixed-gear bike would be insanity. They have released a 10% off coupon though, FIXIE4THEWIN, which works on everything in the store, which is why I thought we’d better mention them.

Abyss (who are new to me) just dropped two new shirts and a sweatshirt. Use the coupon code Mintees to get 25% off.

Star Wars & Halo t-shirts from 604Republic

by Andy on March 28, 2011

Ahhh 604Republic, they really know how to make tees that appeal to geeks.

On a Wednesday night me and my mates regularly meet to play some Halo, we aren’t very good, but we have fun and that’s more important, that and trolling the 14 year-olds we’re playing against. ‘The Chiefs’ is available for $19.95.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a 604R release if they didn’t include something that related to Star Wars. Thinking about it there aren’t too many shirts out there prominently feature Ewoks, and even less of them mashup Ewoks with Predator! ‘PredEwok’ is available for $19.95.

“Gamer’s Closet” by 604Republic

by Andy on January 18, 2011

gamer's closet t-shirt by 604republic

I’ve been getting back into gaming a bit more recently, which thankfully with the Kinect hasn’t meant that I’ve stopped exercising, I’m doing more if anything!

604Republic (who are advertisers on HYA) are making a bit of a name for themselves in the world of gaming tees with some really cool designs that don’t riff on scenes that are too familiar, and I like the looks of this design. Can we name the games? I can see Pac Man, Zelda, Bioshock, Mario, Donkey Kong and Halo, but there are two that I’m stumped on, help!

Costiness=$19.95 Buy it at 604Republic (also available on silver with a non-coloured design)

Halo 3 Master Chief Hoodie by Ecko

by Andy on September 28, 2009

pECKO1-6114775dt

It’s fair to say that Ecko made an error or two by releasing some hideous Halo tees a few months ago, so when I heard that there was a Master Chief hoodie my hopeswere not particularly high, but actually, I like it. Yes, you aren’t actually going to look like Master Chief when you wear it, but that would be a pretty big ask, and you should probably feel relieved that this hoodie can be worn on the street as well as at Comic Con.

Costiness=$88 Available from Ecko

SplitReason: 3 outta 4 ain’t bad

by Andy on April 10, 2009

SplitReason have released 4 new shirts, 3 of them are good, and the 4th is a logo tee which is perfectly fine, but not in the same realm as the others.

XLarge x Halo Wars Pack

by Andy on March 1, 2009

xlarge-x-xbox-x-halo-wars-01

I think we can safely file this post under ‘things you won’t buy’ unless you happen to be in Hong Kong, and probably near the front of a long line of streetwear obsessives. Actually, this collaboration between XLarge and the Halo team was released at HK Double Park locations on February 26th, so your best bet is probably eBay by this point.

So, you won’t be buying this collabo pack (tee, hat, USB stick), but are any HYA-ers going to be picking up Halo Wars on Tuesday? Is this going to be the game that makes me regret not dumping half the contents of my suitcase out and replacing it with my Xbox?
