I love the dumb shocked look of this owl, it makes for a really likable character, and a damn fine looking sweater!

I haven’t mentioned
Holebrain for a while, but that’s only because they haven’t done much (or at least not much that I’ve heard about), but they got in on the 10/10/10 action by releasing their latest line at 10:10 on Sunday morning, which would usually be a terrible time to release a clothing line (sane people would still be in bed), but people love repetitive dates, so it worked out nicely.
Design-wise I think that this release is a subtle evolution of Will’s style, things have remained fairly simple but very wearable and attractive, I’d wear every design on show here, and that can’t be a bad thing. All the tees are printed by Will is his studio using discharge or water-based ink, so the print should be nice and soft, and he prints on American Apparel, so we all know what the deal is there. Shirts are £12 and the hoodies are £22/£35, which for Britain is pretty damn good.
Holebrain are a British company, and their
coupon code lasts for 24 hours, unfortunately that code went live eighteen and a half hours ago, which obviously leaves you with just five and a half hours to take advantage of this offer. Tees at Holebrain only run you between £8 and £11 anyway without the coupon code, so a coupon code to cut those prices down even more is pretty awesome. The code is
BLACKFRIDAY.

I wouldn’t usually cover this kind of thing for a brand that is as new as
Holebrain, but it’s Sunday afternoon and I think I’ve made it pretty clear in the past that I like Holebrain, so any chance I get to mention them I’m going to take it. The site wasn’t exactly terrible before, but this new look should help them to grow a bit more, and I always like to see a blog being included on a t-shirt site because I love seeing all the background stuff and with a new brand especially it’s fun to see how their cotton-based adventure unfolds.

When I first found out about
Holebrain back in August I was pretty excited because it was a British designer, prionting tees himself, going out to markets and selling them himself, and selling them at a price that shouldn’t be too shocking to American wallets. In short, I like Holebrain and want them to do well, this second wave of releases doesn’t change my stance, as these latest designs are from the same mould as what we have seen before, and as the saying goes “if it ain’t broke, keep making cool t-shirts.”
You’ll need to click through to see the rest of the new releases, but I thought I’d better point out that Holebrain are now selling a hoodie with a hood print, because it was so cold in my room this morning I didn’t want to get up, so clearly it’s hoodie weather now.
