6 hoodies going cheap(ish) at Limitees

by Andy on November 18, 2008

I know that €50 doesn’t sound cheap, but it is a substantial discount on what you’d usually be paying if you were to buy one of these hoodies at their regular price. Check out the gallery to see the other five that are on sale from Sixpack France, Revolution RVLT and Wemoto. There’s limited quanitities of each available though, so you may be disappointed regarding the sizes available.

Marioflague by Enclothe [Oh my God!]

by Andy on November 11, 2008

To be completely honest, I think this hoodie is a little loud for me to actually wear it, but I do still think that its absolutely amazing. Enclothe have thought about every detail in this hoodie, which I do believe is their first cut & sew item.

If you check out the gallery after the break, you’ll see that they’ve got thumbholes in the cuffs, an iPod (or other MP3 player) pocket on the inside breast, a sewn on patch, and, and this is my favourite part, the zipper pull is in the shape of a Mario-style mushroom.

There’s $10 off the hoodie at the moment because its on pre-order (expect a couple of weeks for delivery). It’s described as being limited edition, but I don’t know how limited that edition is, so it might be best to act fast if you’re in need of the power-up.

Costiness=$65 Buy it at Enclothe

Wondering why there are so many celebrity posts on HYA today? Look here for an explanation.

Britney Spears was a pretty frequent subject of previous celebrity postings, so it makes sense to kick the day off with her. This picture is actually from back when pretty much everything she did was described as being a “train wreck” but now that she’s now longer crazy I don’t feel quite as dirty posting about her. The green ribbon hoodie is by Primp, who Britters is frequently spotted wearing, but I’m afraid I can’t find it in stock anywhere.

Mad Girl Nancy

by Andy on October 23, 2008

Who would have though that such a cool clothing line could have come from Belgium? Well, it does and it is, check out the gallery for some great designs, especially that grey hoodie. Oh, and sorry guys, this one is for the ladies.

I don’t think you can order anything off their website, but they are carried at a long list of stockists all over Europe.

I really like that hoodie has the face sticking its tongue out at you on the hood, very clever.

Akumu Ink: They have hoodies now!

by Andy on October 8, 2008

I think this is shaping up to be one of the best Halloween’s ever if you want to wear something that fits the horror bill without making you dress up like this guy (incidentally, he couldn’t get the yellow paint off the next day, and had to go to work looking kinda yellow). Akumu Ink teased me a couple of months ago saying that they were going to start selling hoodies, and I presumed that it would only be an option available on a few designs, but they’ve gone and made their whole range of designs available as hoodies. I think that a lot of the designs, especially Of Horror I, work really well as hoodies, so check ‘em out and see if you agree.

If you were running a clothing line that sells designs that are based around zombies, gore, skulls, and pretty much everything else that the Emptees regulars like, when would you release your latest collection?

Halloween of course! Well, slightly before Halloween I guess, since people might actually want to wear this stuff on Halloween, which I’d assume is exactly why Electric Zombie latest range of designs came staggering slowly towards us calling out for brains a couple of days ago.

As well as the totally-terrifying-tees, there are also a couple of hoodies in the range, a fresh belt design, and also a poster package featuring artists Derek Deal, Horsebites, Kyle Crawford (Mr. Electric Zombie), Chris Rushing, and Chad Lenjer.

Muro by Masterpiece at Mad Hectic

by Andy on October 6, 2008

I’m afraid that I can’t be 100% sure whether any of the words in that title are accurate, which is a pity, but the site is a little confusing as to which is the brand, and which is the shop, or even if those two are the same thing.

Whatever they’re called, I like them. Obviously these are some fairly subtle hoodies, but the red hood lining and the contrasting hood drawstrings are really nice touches.

Costiness= 22980Yen (~$219) Buy it at Mad Hectic

How on Earth did I not know that there is a store out there that only sells hoodies? I’m Andy the hoodie guy, I know I’m not the only person that writes about hoodies anymore, but still, I’d like to think that I keep on top of these things.

Anywho, Hoodie People don’t have a massive range yet, but what they’ve got is pretty cool and they seem to be keeping prices fairly low too, so check ‘em out.

Costiness=$39.86 Buy it at Hoodie People *Apparently this item is coming up as being $79 for some people, but you can get 10% off with the coupon code grandopening2008 which should ease the pain somewhat.

Real Trooper Hoodie by Marc Ecko

by Andy on September 30, 2008

Damn, why did I spend so long (about 30ish hours works) a couple of weeks ago building my Tron costume for a party when I could have just bought a hoodie from streetwear giant Marc Ecko?

I like the way that this hoodie isn’t too ‘novelty’, I must admit that I can’t imagine myself buying it based purely on how it looks, the Star Wars element is clearly a big draw for this hoodie, but at the same time it feels as if they’ve really thought about the design (something that can be seen in a lot of the Ecko x Star Wars range) rather than just cashing in on the franchise.

You can also pretend to be Boba Fett if you want.

Costiness=$98 Buy it at Marc Ecko [via Tcritic] *You can get $10 off your order when you spend $100 (yeah, $100 frustrating right?) by using the coupon code STARWARSFAN8 at the checkout, this coupon code expires on Sunday at midnight.

Wilson Fleece Hoodie by Mike & Chris at Chocosho

by Andy on September 24, 2008

I bet you thought I’d already forgotten about my pledge to get back on the hoodie blogging trail, right?

This hoodie may well be a tad pricier than you might like (though it is half price at the moment), but I really like the hood and its funnel neck.

EIO’s new website is AOK

by Andy on September 19, 2008

EIO Clothing, who you may well have noticed started advertising on HYA a couple of days ago (and isn’t it a pretty ad?), have just launched their freshly designed website. Considering they’re called ‘Excess is OK’ the website is pretty minimal, but I like it, everything is within easy reach and the look follows EIOs signature style.

They’ve also released a new collection of tees and hoodies that are very much worth a look.
