god save the queen t-shirt

I must have bookmarked dozens of tutorials for building a hackintosh over the last few years, but something tells me that trying to build a Mac from scratch might be slightly above my skill level.

“Keep Calm and Geek On” by 604Republic

keep calm and geek on

Keep Calm, now there’s a meme that I could make an epic list out of!

And yeah, 604Republic are an advertiser on HYA (space available!), but this tee is too cool for me not to mention just because I feel guilty posting my advertisers even though I’m sure you guys don’t mind.

get excited and make things t-shirt

The Keep Clam and Carry On meme keeps on giving and giving, and in a way that I find a lot more pleasing than anything to do with wolves and moons.

Fear Nothing and Be Fantastic by Split Reason

I’m not entirely sure why there’s a Lego piece on this tee, which makes me think that there might be more to this than meets the eye, but I still like it nevertheless, even if the type treatment doesn’t look like the original Keep Calm and Carry On design.

Keep Calm and Carry is a tee that has become so popular it’s even being worn by people that are inexplicably considered to be celebrities (seen above). Geno over at Laajo, the Chinese-language (right?) t-shirt blog, has put together a great post (surprisingly well translated into English by Google) about the tee and the various variations that have been created based upon it. There’s also a Flickr Group that you might want to check out that has lots of funny (non-tee) variations on the original iconic poster.
