A three-way collaboration? Hot stuff!
What I really like about this jacket is that it’s so normal on the outside, and then there’s this totally crazy interior to it that most people are never going to see, unless you’re the kind of person that likes to open up their coat a lot… possibly in a park… at night… to women… and in that case having a cool jacket is probably the least of your concerns.
If you want this jacket, then I’m afraid that you’ve not got much chance unless you can make it to the Stussy store in Harajuku (a crazy/awesome part of Tokyo) and lay down ¥73,290, which is, wait for it, about $790 dollars.

I’m afraid that I can’t be 100% sure whether any of the words in that title are accurate, which is a pity, but the site is a little confusing as to which is the brand, and which is the shop, or even if those two are the same thing.
Whatever they’re called, I like them. Obviously these are some fairly subtle hoodies, but the red hood lining and the contrasting hood drawstrings are really nice touches.

A nice simple hoodie today to ease me back into the blogging habit after a little break for Easter (not that I’m at all religious, but when everyone you know is off work its hard to buck the trend), I found out yesterday at a dinner party that Americans don’t get Easter Monday or Good Friday off work, I pitied you all very much whilst tucking into slow-roasted lamb.
Anyway, the stitched on bear applique is pretty cute, but its actually the hood lining that I’m far more interested in. I like the way that there is such a strong contrast between the blue on the outside and the starkness of the black and white striped lining, although I guess that the model kind of exacerbates the contrast too as she’s pretty black-and-white herself. This is presumably a high-quality piece too, as most of the items in the Jessica Louise store are hand cut and sewn, which as you would imagine does increase the amount of time between ordering and the postman dropping that package into your waiting hands (about 1-2 weeks in most cases).
It’s available in several colours, none of which are all that shy!
