I like the description on this shirt from Hips and Hair:
Los Angeles…it seems you either love it or hate it. With me, I find myself somewhere in the middle.
That’s actually how I feel about LA too, I think that if I had a car when I’d visited and I’d planned out places I’d like to go more then I would have had a better time, but it was still pretty cool and I got to go to some good places and had a fun time even if I very, very burned by the sun.

Bandana Fever is proud to announce the introduction of its first original line of products. We now offer printed t-shirts mostly consisting or pertaining to our custom shoes and clothing styles. We bring a unique theme to the t-shirt game and plan to present our line nationwide in a city near you very soon.
In the meantime, snatch these tees while you can before they’re all gone. We probably won’t offer them once they’re sold out.

This is our logo in Black & White format. Looks good. Yes, we’re located in and represent Los Angeles.

This is a popular custom shoe style we sell online. The shoes are about $300. This t-shirt is the next best thing. Cop both if you like.

In Los Angeles these colors represent Mexicans, but if you’re overseas maybe it can represent Italians. Who knows? Anyway, it’s a cool design with cool colors and a black tee always looks good with everything. That’s it for now. Look for more releases later once these are sold out.

Andy: Thanks for the submission. Is it just me or is it a little questionable to describe your shirts as original when one of them is the LA Dodgers logo in the colours of the Mexican flag. Also, if possible try and promote your shirts with real photos than mockups, they’re a lot more attractive (usually) and therefore a lot better for helping get people interested in your brand.

If I’m completely honest, I didn’t love Los Angeles when I visited, I got really burned on my first day there, we didn’t have a car to get around, and I broke my camera. I probably needed more time and less jetlag to like LA, however, this gorgeous t-shirt, I liked it the second I saw it.

St. Patrick’s day is right around the corner and Johnny Cupcakes has some great gear and gifts to make your St. Patty’s day the best yet! All three Johnny cupcakes locations will be giving away delicious cupcakes to celebrate so make sure to swing by one of the three locations if you’re in the area to get a treat and pick up one of his Clover t-shirts made from 100% Leprecotton. Of course you can buy any t-shirt to get your cupcake on.
I think that something this light is the very definition of a weekend post! I still can’t quite get over how much Americans get into St. Patrick’s Day, it’s crazy, kinda make me wish I was here for Independence Day, y’know, an event Americans are actually meant to celebrate.

I’m going to have to update the contact page. I don’t reply to an e-mail from a new brand until I’ve actually written about that brand, which often means some people never get a reply. It’s not a perfect system, but would you guys prefer that I write posts, or be all polite and spend my evenings writing awkward e-mails to people about why I’m not writing about their brand?
Most people give up after one e-mail. Foreign Family are clearly not most people. They’ve worn me down with their e-mails to the point at which I’m catapulting them up the queue and giving them a damned post. Are you happy now Foreign Family? Are you?
Here’s their blurb:
Founded in Los Angeles in the hot summer of 2005, when two friends, Chad and MR44, decided to start their own clothing brand. They both wanted to build a brand that was known for originality and intricate hand-drawn designs. Hard work and the drive to create good clothing has guided them from the start, from deciding to utilize only original hand drawn artwork, to building an image, fostering their own dedicated following, building an international customer base, freelancing for and collaborating with other brands, and delving into garment production (ie “cut & sew”). Foreign Family are proud of recent achievements such as being invited to bread + butter in barcelona, launching a worldwide art tour, and the opening of their official headquarters – a design studio in k-town, los angeles, which also housed Foreign Family’s 554 pop-up art gallery last year, exhibiting a wide range of artists and some very successful exhibitions, not to mention The Hundreds’ 5 Year Anniversary event. The Fam are also excited about expanding our cut & sew collections thanks to the masterful design and production skills of Johnny Punishment, who brings valuable professional garment design/production experience to the table. Thanks for supporting Foreign Family!
Pretty impressive stuff I’m sure you’ll agree, I’m surprised that I didn’t manage to find out about them on my own!
