Daily Tees & News for December 2nd

teefury highlander t-shirt

When I opened all the daily sites today (21 tabs, Firefox doesn’t care for that much) I wondered whether I’d actually get to see the TeeFury site. Thankfully it turned up, so any possible malware that may have existed yesterday appears to have been removed and all is right with the world again. I remain disappointed by the response from TeeFury about the issue, it took them at least 13 hours to acknowledge any kind of problem (done by their Facebook page), and they only wrote about it after the warning message had been removed. They posted this message on Twitter at the same time as the Facebook message: “If you had trouble reaching http://teefury.com earlier, try now! We’ve addressed the issue that was causing problems: http://ow.ly/7LyK8″ That link now goes to a 404 page. Frankly, that is not good enough, if you might be exposing your fans to malware via your site you have to tell people by every avenue about the issue and warn them as soon as possible, not when you’ve fixed the problem, and you should make some kind of mention of it when you send out a newsletter that day (presumably to thousands of people). I still like TeeFury and will continue to write about them, but I do not like the way they dealt with this situation.

Nerd joke at RIPT today.

Daily Tees & News for December 1st

teefury reported attack page

Welcome to December. Naturally a lot of brands will be focusing on making sales during the run up to Christmas, and I suspect we’ll see a lot of coupon codes and discounts revolving around that, so the news portion of these roundups will likely grow. These roundups do take quite a lot of time, so if you like it, share it please!

When I try to visit TeeFury Firefox comes up with this. Now, I am 100% confident that Teefury has not been an elaborate phishing scam from the beginning, but after checking out their Facebook page it seems a lot of people have also had this message come up, so I feel that their site may have been compromised in some way. This happened to HYA once and it was hell getting it fixed as someone that doesn’t have much technical expertise, hopefully they will have it sorted soon and it doesn’t cause too many headaches, but I recommend anyone who has visited in the past few days to run a virus scan. There has been no response that I can see from Teefury as of yet.

Quite a clever shirt from Qwertee today, showing fictional books based on movies such as Ghostbusters and Back To The Future.

There’s a lot of excitement over at RIPT for this Star Wars x Transformers mashup.

daredevil parody t-shirt

That’s how I like to start out the daily roundup, with a muscular naked man, thanks TeeFury!

‘Dead Head’ comes back from the dead at Tilteed.

Oh wow, it’s a Firefly/Serenity reference that I understand from RIPT.

Daily Tees & News for November 29th

by Andy on November 29, 2011

night of the living dead t-shirt

Very cool Night of the Living Dead shirt from TeeFury today.

Here’s another Firefly design I don’t understand at Qwertee, and I’m all the more confused because it is a Jurassic Park mashup too.

Song Bird makes another appearance at Tilteed.

Good use of negative space from Stupidhurts.us today.

Nice take on the old proverb from Shirt.Woot.

I guess that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles must be popular again since there is a definite rise in the amount of TMNT shirts I’ve been seeing recently, and I’m not exactly hunting them out. From $10 at RIPT.

I previously featured this shirt a couple of weeks ago when it was on RedBubble, but now it has made it’s way over to The Yetee for the next few days.

I haven’t seen Machete but this parody shirt from OtherTees still makes me laugh.

How depressed does Snuffaluffagus look? 24tee.

As a big Community fan I am very pleased to see this ‘Troy & Abed in the morning’ shirt up at TeeRaiders.

The infinite Swiss army knife makes a return to Loviu.

Nice to see a Zoidberg/Futurama shirt on Shirt Punch today.

I think I’d probably like this latest DBH shirt if it didn’t have the sea turtle on it, but it’s still wearable nevertheless.

Don’t worry, it’s cool to be a nerd now! $11 down from $20 at BustedTees today.

The Cool Hunting gift guide is now live.

I Am The Trend have an excellent post introducing Grave Takers, a new brand from Kyle Crawford of Electric Zombie fame.

RUReppin found some useful articles for t-shirt designers.

threadless coupon code
Don’t forget about that massive 50% off coupon at Threadless (40% off hoodies), with free shipping available if you spend more than $60.

Glennz Cyber Monday deal for 20% off all tees will be expiring at midnight tonight CST. Use the code mondaytuesday to receive the discount.

Daily Tees for November 25th

by Andy on November 25, 2011

mario doctor who t-shirt

The Black Friday T-shirt list is growing all the time, over 70 items now, I expect it to be over 100 by the end of today, happy shopping!

I think that this Mario mashup from TeeFury might be one of my favourite Doctor Who designs for a long time.

One of these days I’m going to watch the Harry Potter series from start to end. Qwertee.

Tilteed‘s homepage has changed, it no longer shows a daily tee, perhaps they’re going to be switching back to a more traditional model?

I don’t understand this Stupidhurts.us t-shirt, but it does look fairly cool.

Shirt.Woot have incorporated the Golden Ratio into this night scene.

Weird, we seem to be seeing a lot of Pokemon t-shirts recently, this one is a Mortal Kombat mashup from RIPT.

TeeMinus24 have kicked off their holiday sale, putting all their shirts at $10 until the end of the year.

I can’t believe that I’ve never seen this Doctor Who x The Who concept before. OtherTees.

24tee make use of some retro imagery.

Another good design from Loviu, they’ve been having a great week.

Shirt Punch are celebrating the world’s greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes.

PalmerCash have a bunch of t-shirts that will help to fight childhood cancer, they’re all $20 each, with half of that going to charity. The cancer shirt made me laugh, so I thought I’d post it.

dragonball z t-shirt

All the deals will be going into the Black Friday list, so the roundup today will be a bit shorter than usual.

Apparently this TeeFury shirt is something to do with Dragonball Z. I’ve never seen the show so I can’t explain the shirt, but I do like the design.

Qwertee are celebrating their birthday today with this £7 t-shirt.

I thought this t-shirt was adorable the first time I saw it on Tilteed, and it’s still adorable now.

Perfectly wearable but not for me at Stupidhurts.us today.

Why that’s just delightful, very nice Shirt.Woot.

How is it possible that Christmas Story has passed me by and I don’t understand why this leg lamp is a major award? RIPT

Of all the niche references to pick, 24tee have made a shirt that references a fictional McDonald’s clone from the film Coming To America. You’ve got to admire them for that.

Very nice shirt from Loviu today.

Planet of the Apes themed shirt from Shirt Punch.

I think that I’d prefer this DBH shirt without the speech bubble, but it’s still pretty nice.

Pick up this goblin shirt for $10 instead of $20 today in BustedTees daily deal.

Daily Tee & News Roundup for November 23rd

by Andy on November 23, 2011

star trek t-shirt

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s amazing that there aren’t more Star Trek t-shirts around. $10 today at TeeFury.

I like the name of this shirt, ‘Vinyl Frontier,’ almost as much as I like the design. $10 today at Tilteed.

Very nice Doctor Who t-shirt from Nowhere Bad today.

I’m not sure if this shirt at Stupidhurts.us is a Deadmau5 reference or not, but I like it.

Not my favourite Shirt.Woot design ever but it definitely fits with their style.

I’m fairly sure there are a lot of people that would like this RIPT version of Battlestar Battleship to be a real thing.

Awesome shirt at The Yetee today, who would have thought that “Star Wars x crappy Christmas sweaters” would be such a good concept for a design?

And here I was thinking that all the “people whose names are also a state” had been done, well done 24tee.

TeeRaiders are dropping a Firefly design today.

Loviu really liked The Dark Knight, presumably.

Catch of the Day Tee provide us with our second Doctor Who shirt for Wednesday.

Shirt Punch seem to be the only company that have realised The Muppets are really popular at the moment.

Very pretty design from DBH today.

Let me remind you that Rigu is a thing I launched last week and it would be brilliant if you could check it out.

Glennz has released a desktop calendar for 2012 featuring some of his favourite designs.

80sTees satisfy my thirst for Seinfeld t-shirts with this George Costanza ‘Professional Hand Model’ tee. for $22.

Monsieur Steve is offering 20% off in his store today only with the coupon code onlytoday, though you do have to spend €70 to qualify for the saving.

PLNDR have up to 55% off goods from Mishka NYC.

A few months back on I Am The Trend Monique from Antisparkle featured “3 Affordable and Creative Branded Packaging Ideas” that I’m sure store owners will want to take a look at.

I didn’t mean for this to turn into a daily roundup for store owner resources, but I’ve been finding some good stuff recently, here’s “Five Copywriting Errors That Can Ruin A Company’s Website” from Smashing Magazine.

Mashable have 7 Tips to Make Your Blog Stickier. A lot of shirt brands have a blog that this info can apply to, but it’s important to note that a lot of the tips apply to non-blog content too.

Kissmetrics have a super guide to marketing using Twitter, and also a post with a guy claiming to have a 2% bounce rate which if you know your bounce rates you know is astoundingly low.

I Am The Trend’s Black Friday List is up and it has more than 80 brands on it, crazy! My initial list will be up in a few hours.

Daily News & Tee Roundup for November 21st

by Andy on November 21, 2011

warwick davis t-shirt

I’ve had a change of tack today and I’m putting Shirt Punch at the top of the roundup because today their designer is not by a normal t-shirt artist, it’s by sophisticated dwarf about town Warwick Davis of Star Wars (and currently ‘Life’s too Short’) fame. I know that his new show has gotten a lot of negative press for exploiting short people, but I don’t think he’d be in the show if he didn’t think it was right for him. Nice to see Philip Schofield in the sideart section!

I watched the first episode of The Walking Dead (season 2) at the weekend so I think this TeeFury shirt is pretty dang cool.

Qwertee, or at least someone, has sold this ‘Joy of Death’ shirt before, I’m sure of it.

Very sweet design by BootsBoots at Tilteed today, and whilst it isn’t new to the site, it is new to me.

Nowhere Bad are referencing Iocane Powder from the Princess Bride again.

Seems like this camera t-shirts from Stupidhurts.us provides yet another lovely opportunity to mention my new camera accessories site, Rigu.

Rare that you see Shakespeare quoted on a t-shirt, but Shirt.Woot have pulled it off.

It’s also rare to see RIPT re-using designs, but that is the case with this Tardis/Union Jack t-shirt.

The Yetee give some love to a pair of Ninja Turtles characters that don’t often get a look in when it comes to t-shirts.

I’ve never seen the Slap Bet episode of How I Met Your Mother, but it’s cool the way that they bring it in during later episodes, I like the way that HIMYM has a lot more callbacks than most shows. TeeMinus24.

Random shirts on sale at OtherTees for the next 4 days.

I don’t really understand what this Crane Jackson thing is all about at 24tee today. I’ve found a strange Facebook page that might be a real theatre, and that Crane Jackson was a real person, but I still don’t quite get it. The mystery is quite fun though.

Today at TeeRaiders they’re celebrating a show called Once Upon a Time that’s only been on the air for a month on ABC in the US, I can’t decide if that’s brilliant or terrible.

GraphicLab have a shirt this week that combines Nintendo’s famous Power Glove with Thanos from the Marvel universe.

Really cool design from Loviu today.

2nd design has been made available from Tshirt Contest, this one is all about how delicious meat is.

Not really my kind of shirt at DBH today.

Someone on Instructables has made a fun looking shirt with LEDs in it.

Wrongwroks will be releasing this hoodie today, I really like the contrast detail on the zip and hood.

Springleap have teamed up with Marmite for a design competition.

PLNDR have more ridiculous prices in their bargain bin today.

Get $25 off with the coupon code 25X8TN at 80s Purple when you spend $80 or more (and there’s free shipping if you spend $99 or more).

Sturban Clothing have started selling Quilted Jackets by SeventySeven.

This guy called Jack got in touch to let me know about his site, and whilst the tees aren’t really my style, I thought you guys might like his stuff, and he seems very likeable in spite of the odd choice of creating a website that is 300 pixels wide.

Chris Kawagiwa, who recently had a few designs printed over at Might Fine, sent me an e-mail that pointed me towards a concept & process video for one of his steampink Star Wars designs. It’s really cool to watch it come together from pen & paper to the finished tee.

RadCakes have released three new shirts that I don’t particularly care for, perhaps you do.

Daily Tees and News Roundup for November 16th

by Andy on November 16, 2011

dalek snowman t-shirt

I think that this Doctor Who t-shirt thing may be getting a bit out of hand now. TeeFury.

Very nice Portal shirt from Qwertee, pity that the text isn’t legible though.

That is one majestic looking unicorn, Tilted.

Soooo, is that owl drunk? Stupidhurts.us

Pretty nice tee from Shirt.Woot today.

There is a surprising lack of Transformers shirts around, something RIPT appear to be looking to address, I’d probably prefer to see more of a Megan Fox-esque woman standing next to the car though.

This TeeMinus24 shirt is in honour of it being 37 years since Wolverine’s first appearance in a full issue of a comic book.

More rage face action from 24tee.

I watched Kung Fu Panda 2 last night so this shirt from Loviu is pretty attractive to me right now.

I was going to have a solid Gears of War session on Sunday night, and then my Xbox died again, it’s 6 years old so it’s had a decent run, but no one likes it when their hardware fails and you have to get a new one, that’s £170 I would have rather not spent. Shirt available at Catch of the Day Tee.

Pretty cool Mario concept from Shirt Punch today.

Very nice from DBH, though I think I’d rather have it as a poster than a t-shirt.

604Republic are running a ‘buy 2 get a 3rd shirt free’ sale, which is pretty nice.

Johnny Cupcakes has dropped 3 new shirts.

Wrongwroks have restocked their Monster hoodies.

IAMTHETREND have an interview with 11:11 Apparel.

Karmaloop are giving 30% off and free shipping ($8 off shipping for international users) with the coupon code TEE30, but only on shirts in the ‘dressed to a tee’ section of the sale page.

Retreat have put all their shirts on sale for £10.

Scifen have teamed up with a hip hop artist that I’ve never heard of (which has no reflection upon how well known they are) called eLZhi to create the garments you can see above.

Coty has declared his love for Instagram (I’m a member too, feel free to follow me, my username is hideyourarms, of course.

No Guts No Glory have released a limited edition Christmas jumper that is far more attractive than the ironic one you bought last year.

February Son have a storewide shirt sale going on until the end of the year, all tee are $16. I don’t know what they were before that, but presumably $16 is less.

I will be launching a new website today that will be taking up a lot of my time for the foreseeable future, please be assured that this is actually a good thing for HYA, becuase it means that I can continue to write here and not get a soul crushing job I don’t love.

Daily Tees & News for November 15th

donnie darko t-shirt

Thinking about it, I haven’t seen Donnie Darko. $10 at TeeFury today.

I suppose this isn’t a new design from Tilteed, but at least this is a design we haven’t seen in the past couple of months.

One thing that I’ve never liked about blogs is tag clouds, they don’t really tell you anything, and whilst I realise that this Nowhere Bad shirt isn’t a Star Wars tag cloud it was what I thought of when I saw it.

Cool shirt from Stupidhurts.us today, I like the ink splatters coming out of the head.

At Halloween I made pumpkin ice cream, it was surprisingly good. Shirt.Woot

Sometimes I wonder if the daily sites are producing too many Doctor Who shirts, though I presume that if people weren’t buying them they wouldn’t be selling them. RIPT.

I haven’t watched enough Firefly to give a damn about this Firely t-shirt from 24tee.

I don’t get it, Loviu.

Nice shirt from Catch of the Day Tee today.

Haha, it’s surprising that there aren’t more Muppets shirts around, and this is a nice one from Shirt Punch.

This DBH shirt isn’t for me, but it’s certainly well done.

BustedTees have added 12 new shirts to their $10 clearance section, including the classic ‘Strictly for my ninjas’.

‘Our Bodies are our gardens’, nice concept well executed from A Better Tomorrow.

Use the coupon code PILLAGE10 to get $10 off your order at PLNDR, and if it’s your first order you’ll get another $10 gift certificate just for shopping. Seems like they’re pretty desperate to get you to buy something.

PalmerCash have some Sesame Street hats that will be worn by that kooky girl that thinks she’s an individual like everyone else.

Weirdest t-shirt promo video ever (caution, contains male nudity, just from the back), sometimes you can just tell that people are from Shoreditch. Twantard

Cottonable are giving away two shirts from HelloFresco, and all you have to do to enter is leave a comment.

Digital Gravel have added a whole bunch of $15 tees to the site, but for a limited time only.

Valourandvellum has released a free hi-res t-shirt mockup.

Kissmetrics have a good guide for how to make the most of web analytics that I reckon will be handy for brand owners.

Get 15% off when you spend £100+ at Urban Industry with the coupon code UIXMAS, and don’t forget there’s free shipping on all orders until December 19th.

Daily Tees & News for November 14th

by Andy on November 14, 2011

doctor who t-shirt

Just a bit too much meme in this shirt for me at TeeFury today.

Don’t think that there’s any reference to this shirt at Qwertee, I think it’s just one for s[ace fans.

Another oldie-but-goodie from Tilteed.

Random tees for $6.66 at Shirt.Woot today.

Major League Quidditch Harry Potter t-shirt at RIPT today. Can you imagine if Quidditch was real? It would be AWESOME. All other I can’t imagine wanting to watch another non-flying based sport if Quidditch was an option.

I may well need assistance in identifying the reference on this shirt from The Yetee.

TeeMinus24 have dropped a Battlefield shirt here, right? I’m just about to run through the single-player on Bad Company 2, then I might relent and get in on the BF3 action, it looks pretty incredible.

I know that this is a song by Kansas, but a quick bit of Googling suggests that this shirt from OtherTees is also a reference to the TV show Supernatural.

I’m surprised that there haven’t been more rage face shirts turning up on daily sites, like this one from 24tee.

I just don’t have the inclination to watch gory movies like Saw anymore, they just don’t appeal to me. TeeRaiders

Star Wars design this week from GraphicLab.

Really lovely design from Loviu today.

Doctor Who x The Smurfs, of course, thanks for making this happen Catch of the Day Tee.

I’m not all that depressed that I’ve never drank Kool-Aid. Shirt Punch.

Tshirt Contest have a shirt on preorder based on my favourite movie, Blade Runner.

Really cool new design from DBH today.

It turns out that the Daily Deal (which is on there for more than a day usually) isn’t always for tees at BustedTees, sometimes it’s a spatula that looks like someone throwing the horns, which may suggest that this item ($12 down from $20) wasn’t quite as popular with the buying public as they’d hoped.

It’s sale week at Glennz so all shirts are $15.

Urban Industry have a list of their currently available deals (usually free stuff when you order a certain brand.

Gilt are offering free shipping (for US folks) today.

Two really nice shirts from laFraise today. At first I thought that the astronaut one was my favourite, and then I noticed the glow in the dark part of the white shirt. Delightful!

hunger games t-shirt

Apparently today’s shirt at TeeFury is to do with a series of books called ‘Hunger Games’ that I’ve never read.

I like what Qwertee are going for here, but I think that you’d have to be a Linkin Park fan to want to buy it, and that might cut out a large section of their followers.

gremlins t-shirt

Very cool Gremlins shirt at TeeFury today.

Tilteed are lucky that they’ve got such a solid back catalogue.

I don’t get it, but I like it at Stupidhurts.us

Decisions, decisions. Shirt.Woot

Cool Aliens-based shirt at RIPT today, though there is a little debate in their comments as to whether there are hints of Halo in there too.

Ahh, America’s pastime, watching Star Wars whilst eating Cheetos. OtherTees

Huh, what are the chances that two shirt companies do the same logo style design, and that they’re next to each other in my daily bookmarks folder? 24tee

Really nice from Loviu today, I think this style of tee is where they shine.

This Blues Brothers shirt was at TeeRaiders last week, and now it’s at Catch of the Day Tee.

Should this Harry Potter shirt not to be do to with Butter Beer? Shirt Punch

Trippy new shirt at DBH today.

Street Casuals have dropped a load of new Actual Pain goods.

T-shirt designer Gaunty is going to be running the LA marathon and is raising money for charity the same time. Donating to a worthy cause is it’s own reward, but actual rewards are pretty sweet too, so Gaunty has lined up a bit of a competition, giving away shirts that he has designed to people that have donated money.

GAMAGO are holding a massive once day sale at their shop in San Francisco, there will be booze!

VillainPlanet have released a couple of new poker-themed shirts that I assume are to do with a tournament and league in their native Portugal.

2SickBastards will be selling their tees for £11 on the 11th by the look of things.

Sin Star Clothing just launched their own fixed gear bikes, which look cool but obviously I have no idea if they’re good, there are mountains on every side of my house, a fixed-gear bike would be insanity. They have released a 10% off coupon though, FIXIE4THEWIN, which works on everything in the store, which is why I thought we’d better mention them.

Abyss (who are new to me) just dropped two new shirts and a sweatshirt. Use the coupon code Mintees to get 25% off.

mars university futurama t-shirt

Nice to see more Futurama shirts becoming available, even if it’s just for a day at TeeFury.

Great collage shirt from Qwertee today, one for children of the 80s I think.

Another cool design from Tilteed, but of course it is also an old design, I’d love to know what’s happening there and why we haven’t seen new shirts for so long, hopefully this isn’t the beginning of the end for Tilteed.

Whilst I don’t entirely understand the meaning of the bird painting itself, I do like the artwork today at Shirt.Woot.

Quite a few of the RIPT commenters are chiming in to say that they won’t buy this shirt because it will be out of date in a year, fair point.

It’s pretty rare that you get a shirt that draws from Picasso and Star Wars, bravo The Yetee, bravo.

Nope. I’m going to need someone to explain the reference to me on this 24tee shirt.

Gotta say I’m not in love with the Mario artwork at TeeRaiders today, sorry.

Nice to see this design at Loviu again.

Shirt Punch are exploring that oft-neglected crossover of Doctor Who and Wizard of Oz today.

The straightforwardly named Tshirt Contest have opened their first contest with a call for entries of beer designs.

‘War Torn’ is the Shirt Of The Day at DBH.

Delorean Dashboard is the deal of the day at BustedTees. $11 instead of $20.

I don’t want to complain too much about something that’s a 2 year old issue, but I saw it again and it annoyed me again. Total Film published a list of 100 Star Wars t-shirts in 2009 that I feel is clearly heavily inspired by my list of 202 Star Wars t-shirts. That post took me the better part of 25 hours work, work that they haven’t acknowledged in their list (they have picked all the same shirts as I did, and in many cases they’re listed in the same order. I’m of no doubt that Total Film have earned money from that post (they have ads, and they’re on the first page of Google for the search ‘Star Wars t-shirts’), but all I want from them is acknowledgement that I did the research for their article, and an apology for using my work without permission. If any of you would like to leave a comment on their article or tweet them @totalfilm regarding the issue I’d appreciate it.

Mashable have a short list of “4 Essential Facebook Page Apps to Improve Communication With Fans” that I think will be of use to brand owners.

New shirt today from A Better Tomorrow.

Javaboi Industries have a Steve Jobs tribute shirt. Frankly, I don’t care for the shirt, it’s just not for me, but I can understand why people would look up to Steve Jobs, and it’s cool that Javaboi are donating to charity with the sales from the shirt, especially as they are a brand that has unfortunately had far too many experiences with cancer.

RedBubble artist Tom Trager has released the above ‘Dalek Pest Exterminations’ Doctor Who shirt for £15.99, which I’ve now added to the Doctor Who list.

You can get an extra 15% off at PLNDR with the coupon HUSH15 provided you spend $50+.

Use the coupon code TRIPLE11 to get 20% off your order at Karmaloop from now until midnight (EST) on November 11th.

I’ve opened up a couple of new advertising spaces for your perusal (footer & sidebar skyscraper left). Don’t worry, this isn’t yet more ads on HYA, I’ve converted the two ads that had Google AdSense on them to regular ads (that are backfilled with AdSense at the moment, confused?). They’re on a CPM basis, meaning you only pay for what you want and I’ve made it possible to buy just a couple of thousand pageviews at a time, meaning you can dip your toe in the water advertising on HYA for just a couple of dollars. This also means that we could have hundreds of people advertising on HYA, which I think would be pretty cool.

Unestablish has opened for business, they seem to have some pretty cool higher-end looking clothing.

Counter Balance Clothing (who I hadn’t heard of before) released a big new Fall collection a few days ago, with that many new shirts you guys must be able to find something you like in there.

Time for me to feel bad again, Monstros Apparel have been running a Kickstarter Project for the past month, and now that I finally get around to properly checking out their e-mail the Kickstarter has got 3 days to go and still needs about $2,000 to be funded. I know that HYA probably doesn’t have the readership to give this guy $2,000 but I think there are probably a few of you out there that would have pledged for one of his shirts.

When I first saw Starship Troopers I thought it was awesome because of all the guns and explosions, and even a couple of boobs here and there, but now that I’m an adult I realise that it’s actually a bit smarter than it’s often given credit for. $10 today at TeeFury.

doctor who t-shirt

I don’t think I’ve ever seen more Doctor Who references on one shirt, you win, TeeFury!

Qwertee have a Lord Of The Rings t-shirt for us today.

Shirt.Woot have a Pacman design that has better graphics than the original Pacman.

RIPT ensure that the Doctor Who:Star Wars balance is maintained.

24tee also share my love of cheap noodles. That said, when you get real ramen it is pretty amazing.

Ahhh, Loviu, the old switcheroo!

Really, really nice Boardwalk Empire x Monopoly mashup today at Shirt Punch.

Some brand I’ve never heard of called Venus Falls released their Fall collection recently and it looks pretty nice.

Rob Dobi has redesigned a few of his old Fullbleed shirts, including the one above.

410BC released a large collection of new tees last week, though the Mintees crowd have noticed that a lot of the designs are simply public domain images on shirts, which just doesn’t feel like the 410BC way to me.

Everything has got 20% off at Outcry Apparel for a limited time. How limited? I have no idea.

One ad space has become available on HYA at the price of $19 per month. All other spaces are currently sold out but there will be some other opportunities opening up this month so get on the waiting list if you are interested.

WinkyBoo have got a massive 50% off coupon code live at the moment. Use code WINKYMUSIC to receive the discount.

Daily Tees and News for November 5th

by Andy on November 5, 2011

coffee-aid t-shirt

Oh yeah! TeeFury

Were Tilteed not selling this design just a couple of weeks ago?

Nice Zelda shirt (right reference?) at Shirt.Woot today.

RIPT bring us a Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure mashup today.

It always amazes me how few Simpsons t-shirts there are out there. The Yetee.

Was someone else selling this Buffy the Vampire Slayer t-shirt recently? No matter, it’s available at OtherTees now.

I don’t know what or if there is a reference on this 24tee shirt, but it’s a pretty cool design either way.

A quick Google tells me that this TeeRaiders ‘Miranda Reavers’ design is something to do with Firefly.

At first I was like, “oh, that’s nice” then I looked at this Loviu design a little closer.

Oh man, I’d just written a whole thing about not getting the reference on this Shirt Punch tee, then it hit me, Marty McFly from Back To The Future?

Coty of CotyGonzales.com fame has a new-ish site called Exploration Hawaii all about hiking around Hawaii. We have some stunning walks around where I live (it may be called the Lake District, but there are hills around all those lakes), but the places he’s going look amazing. He’s running a little competition to win a $25 gift certificate from Threadless that I’m sure you’ll want to enter before November 10th.

Kissmetrics have a viral marketing cheat sheet that brand owners may want to check out.

Cuppa-T have put up their Christmas shipping dates.

PalmerCash are doing their bit for Movember.

Urban Outfitters (in the UK/Europe at least) are offering free shipping this weekend.

Hot Topic have updated their monthly coupon code, you can get 20% off with HTA20NOV providing you spend at least $60. Coupon expires December 2nd.

HYA blogger Sleepy Dan has added some snap back hats to his store, expect a behind the scenes look at how they were printed here in the next day or so.

Threadless have added some gorgeous (and massive) graphics to their partnership with Blik.

Make Believe have released a short but delightful video that really captures the spirit of their brand.

Terratag have got a grab bag offer going on that I think gives really good value. They’re mystery tees or sweats/hoodies, so you’ll have to be a big fan of Terratag, but since they have a fairly cohesive range, I think if you like one of their shirts you’ll probably like most of them.

Shirt designers always need more textures right? Apparently this free texture pack at Mintees is mighty fine.

Looks like Mintees are going to be opening a marketplace, which is going to be another nail in the coffin of ShirtHive (another idea I had but couldn’t find the time for).

There’s a really funny interview with former HYA blogger Randyotter at TheShirtList.
