I like this artwork, but I haven’t seen enough of Breaking Bad to know whether this mashup actually makes any sense, can someone help me out in the comments? If the design is just based on the pun then it’s a little poor, since we’re seeing a Joker mashup, and from my limited understanding in Breaking Bad Bryan Cranston starts out with the drugs as a way to earn money for his family after he dies of cancer (I’ve literally only seen the first two episodes, and that was some time ago), which wouldn’t align with the Joker’s ideology of mayhem for it’s own sake. Still a cool design though!

A Seinfeld and Danzig mashup doesn’t seem like an obvious thing to do, but this one by Commonstitch is well done. It mashes up the classic Danzig logo with George Costanza. Still a weird mashup, but its funny and well executed. Its printed on American Apparel and is available in a wide variety of colors. It costs only $15.99.

donkey kong george washington t-shirt

I’m sure that you guys will not be shocked to hear that I think this is a cool t-shirt at Chop Shop. 8-bit style shirts are really popular at the moment and it’s a trend that I’m happy to see. Here’s how Chop Shop describe the tee:

Help Georgio navigate his way toward Liberty while avoiding all of the King’s royal cannonballs. Use the axe to deflect the cannonballs or simply chop down the cherry tree… but if anyone asks, tell them the other George did it.

back to the future t-shirt

If Doc Brown and Tin Tin had a love child it would look something a little bit like this. Horrifying in concept but great in reality on this shirt that you can get in a variety of colours. Designed by Todd Wilhelm over at RedBubble who has numerous other parody shirts for people to cover their chests with.

Interesting Doctor Who t-shirt at The Yetee.

OtherTees also have a Doctor Who t-shirt today.

Whenever I hear Americans talking about their heritage it’s always “oh yeah, I’m Irish!” Or maybe they’re Scottish or Welsh, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say they’re proud to have English heritage, anyone know if there’s a reason for that? Shirt available from 24tee.

Portal/Beatles/Road safety t-shirt available from TeeRaiders.

I can’t think of an occasion to which I’d wear this DBH shirt.

BustedTees deal of the day ($12 instead of $20) brings us our daily Star Wars fix.

This isn’t a new shirt from Tilteed, but it certainly hasn’t been featured for a long time.

klimt star wars the kiss

Hello, hello, hello and happy Valentine’s Day! I had a great holiday (though my snowboarding inflicted bruises may say different), and then went to see Justice play in Manchester last night, but now it’s back to reality and back to the serious business of t-shirts (and camera accessories at Rigu, of course).

TeeFury have a Star Wars-ified take on Gustav Klimt’s ‘The Kiss’.

Shirt.Woot believe the pen is mightier than the sword (or possibly equal to it).

RIPT have a Game of Thrones t-shirt that looks cool that I don’t understand.

I think you can put this Star Wars shirt on the list of mashups I didn’t think I’d ever see, but then again RedBubble is full of unexpected mashups.

harry potter t-shirt

Not often you see a Harry Potter x Bruce Campbel shirt. $10 today at Teefury.

It must be mashup day, because Qwertee have seen fit to release a Star Wars x Jagermeister shirt. (IMAGE REMOVED AT THE REQUEST OF JAGERMEISTER)

This is actually one of my favourite shirts of all time, Tilteed sent me it when they first launched and I still wear it regularly, it’s a great design.

I don’t get it, but I do kind of like it, nice work

Not my kind of thing at Shirt.Woot today, sorry.

How strange that we’ve had two Bioshock related shirts this week (the other is still available at Nowhere Bad at the time of posting), pretty good stuff from RIPT.

Nicely done Star Wars x He Man shirt at The Yetee today.

Seeing the word ‘frak’ has made me realise this today TeeMinus24 are selling a Battlestar Galactica shirt.

This semi-correct anatomical shirt from Uneetee is cheap today, $14.99 instead of $24.99.

I question whether 24Tee needed to give the woman such big nipples (they’re all I can see!), but cool artwork otherwise.

I have no clue what this TeeRaiders t-shirt (and hoodie) are about, can anyone enlighten me?

Not a new shirt from Loviu, but that lion is cool enough to warrant another outing.

Fourth is King have a snazzy new website, but if I were you I’d hold off making a purchase there until at least next week because they’re going to have their goods available at cut prices on starting on Saturday.

the warriors t-shirt

I’ve decided to add in little bits of extra news to these daily tee roundups that wouldn’t otherwise get posted (such as some sales and deals), let me know if you think this idea sucks or not.

I’ve never seen The Warriors, I must add it to my must watch list and then maybe get around to seeing it in 10 years. Cool design I don’t understand at TeeFury today.

Comic strips on a t-shirt? Very nice Tilteed.

Great artwork today at, and green/yellow is a classic colourway.

Delicious kawaii at Shirt.Woot today.

I’m fairly sure this Zoidberg/House mashup shirt was on RedBubble first, but it’s good to see it getting more exposure on RIPT.

I haven’t watched enough Firefly to understand what this OtherTees shirt is about.

24tee‘s shirt today doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, surely it’s impossible to race Tardis’ (Tardi?), actually, is there more than one Tardis, I’m not entirely sure how it works.

I don’t know how long Catch of the Day Tee (COTDT) have been running, but they’re new to me, and will be in the daily roundup from now on with their $10 t-shirts. This shirt was on another daily site recently (was it RIPT?), so clearly they’re in the pop culture market too, but hopefully they’ll have some more original designs in the future because it’s unfair for me to judge them based on a design I’ve already seen.

Nice and wearable shirt from Loviu today.

Poketo have knocked 50% off a few of their apparel offerings, which means tees down to $14, yes, that’s more than most of the shirts I’ve mentioned today, but since they’re usually $28 a piece it’s a decent deal (and there’s more than just tees available).

Johnny Cupcakes will be releasing his Halloween collection “There’s Something in the Cupcake Mix” at the London store on Saturday at 7:30, turn up dressed to scare and you might be able to snap up one of the hand-numbered t-shirts (3 designs limited to 200 pieces each). Expect a crowd, and possibly actual cupcakes.

dirty dancing t-shirt

Sorry this roundup is so late, it’s hard to get back into the swing of things after 3 days off.

You’d have thought that Footloose would be the flavour of the month when it came to dancing, but apparently Dirty Dancing is the top choice at TeeFury, today at least.

Qwertee give us an X-Ray of Wolverine and his awesome claws.

Tilteed make everyone happy by selling a distinctly Autumnal t-shirt by HYA fave Greg Abbott.

Nowhere Bad are in the mood to celebrate the Evil Dead trilogy. give us a tee I would have loved when I was 16, it’s a bit dark and has birds and a heart on it, perfect for wearing whilst listening to a Finch album.

Shirt.Woot have a thing for foxes (design also available as a hoodie).

RIPT fill our minimum quote of daily Star Wars t-shirts.

The Yetee make sure that Doctor Who fans aren’t disappointed by this post.

TeeMinus24 are giving $3 from the sale of every shirt to a breast cancer charity.

Uneetee have knocked ‘Agua Estrella’ (water stars?) down from $26.99 to $14.99 today only.

OtherTees are referencing Zombieland, right?

24tee are probably calling me an a-hole in Russian after I felt their Steve Jobs shirt last Thursday was in poor taste.

Haven’t Loviu sold this shirt before?

GraphicLab close out this rather large roundup with a Wendy’s/zombie mashup, nice!

funny tom selleck t-shirt

I literally said “oh my God” when I saw this t-shirt. After that I swiftly went to Wikipedia to see if Americans would get the joke, and apparently you will because the Magnum ice cream was introduced in the US this year with Summer Rachel Bilson as the spokeperson for the brand. It’s not available at Phenum yet but I want to give you the heads up; they say

It will be available at the end of september in unisex fit XS/S/M/L/XL (100 copies worldwide) in our eshop and in the best shops.

They released a similar shirt last year and it sold out in a couple of weeks, so if you want this shirt, and I know that even at 30€ you’re tempted, keep an eye out for the release, I’ll try and cover it but make no promises for timeliness.

Daily Tee Roundup September 21st

by Andy on September 21, 2011

nintendo miyamoto t-shirt

I like the idea behind TeeFury‘s offering today, but the artwork isn’t quite there for me. I suppose that’s a harsh critique because they are recreating a TV show logo, but there just seems to be something missing for me.

I get the feeling that this “Stark Industries” t-shirt will look a lot better on a t-shirt rather than in mockup form, as the way that the design has been distressed doesn’t work particularly well in mockup form, but otherwise a solid shirt at RIPT today.

Don’t bother, I’ve already tried, there isn’t really a QR code on this tee from Shirt.Woot, which renders it fairly pointless for me since I think that QR codes are ugly. If you’re in need of blank shirts, or just don’t like designs, in which case I can’t imagine why you’re on this site, the main deal on Woot today is 5 t-shirts of random colour for $7.99 ($12.99 including shipping).

Every time I see Pope Benedict he looks sinister. Pope John Paul II seemed like a good guy, which I feel is pretty much the minimum to be Pope, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard a story about Benedict where I’ve stopped and thought “huh, he seems alright.” £8 today at Qwertee.

Ahhh, TeeMinus24, I may not like your shirt today, but I love the poem you’ve used to describe it:

Sir mix-a-lot like big butts
and he cannot lie
you facebook users can’t deny
when a friend sends you a very funny link
and you want others to know what you think
you click like

I forgot to include Loviu yesterday, whoops! You guys should be on my ass when I make mistakes like that, force me to be a better blogger.

directors t-shirt mashup

Remember those shirts from Monsters of Grok that I mentioned a few weeks back? They took the names of famous scientists and finagled the logos of famous bands to fit in the scientists name creating a fun mashup tee, well guess what? Someone has done the same thing with film directors.

I don’t believe there is a case of foul play here, and none of the people involved are peeved about it as far as I know, it’s just one of those funny coincidences that similar ideas have been released around the same time. We aren’t talking about any ordinary directors here, these people don’t make movies, they make cinema, and if I’m completely honest, I don’t recognise every name, but the ones I do recognise I do respect, so I assume that the others are fairly high calibre fellows as well.

All the shirts are $25 each and are available from CineFile Video.

Linus LOST t-shirt Peanuts

Very cool mashup pondering whether Linus from Peanuts and Benjamin Linus from LOST are actually the same person. When will we get the answers?!

$10 today at TeeFury
