Line of Dance Intergalactic T-Shirt

intergalacticmen 1 480x520 Intergalactic by Line of Dance

I don’t know why but for some reason I really believe that if they removed their helmets it’d be Luke & Princess Leia.  I mean of course that would mean Darth Vader HAD to be their ballroom teacher, right?

For some reason I find the design kind of humorous and a bit nerdy.  Regardless, I own one in the turquoise and it’s become one of my go-to t-shirts that I wear weekly.  Line of Dance describes it as,

“For the ballroom dancing sci-fi geek in your life, we present: intergalactic!  Featuring two “space dancers” floating atop the cosmic dance floor.”

Cost = $16.50   Buy it at Line of Dance

rebel scum star wars t-shirt

slam shirt The Rule of Thirds is a new charity programme from Nerdy Shirts
Nerdy Shirts have launched a new initiative that is designed to give us some great t-shirts and also do their bit for charity in the process. They call it the Rule of Thirds; an artist creates a limited edition shirt for Nerdy Shirts, and the profits get spit evenly between them, the artist, and also a charity of the artists’ choice. Naturally, I think this is pretty cool since it’s always good to see an altruistic element to the sale of a t-shirt. Above you can see the first two shirt that have resulted from this programme, the yellow one by Dean Haspiel (benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), and the white Storm Trooper one by Oliver Barrett (benefiting the American Cancer Society).

The shirts are $35 each which is a bit more than usual, but I assume that this extra cost is to do with them having to pay the artist more (since NS don’t usually use named artists) and also putt a couple of dollars on top for the charities.

stormtrooper face t-shirt

I think I prefer the version of this that I’ve seen which was 8-bit style, but this design from NerdyShirts is pretty cool too, and knowing them they’ll be legitimately allowed to sell Star Wars t-shirt too.

angry birds t-shirts

Okay, remember a couple of days ago when I said I wasn’t an Angry Birds addict? This is how my morning routine went: “wake up, pick up iPhone, look at e-mail, look at Tweetdeck… try to blow up those weird pig things.” I give in, you win Angry Birds, you win. Thankfully they don’t win enough for me to want to order one of these shirts from NerdyShirts, but I’m sure some of you will find it harder to resist.

40% off 23 tees at NerdyShirts

nerdyshirts sale

I’ve got no idea if this sale at NerdyShirts will be lasting beyond just Black Friday or not, so you should probably treat it as being for just today. Naturally, it’s mostly their older designs that are on sale. As I was looking through the designs, I noticed that not all of them have the fll 40% off, I’m not sure if that’s because I’m writing this a few hours before it’s posted (come on, HYA is running at a post an hour today, I have to sleep!), or if that’s how it’s going to be throughout the whole sale. Make your way to the sale section at Nerdy Shirts to see what’s on offer.

zelda t-shirt

Is it just me or should this shirt almost definitely have “Don’t make me go Zelda on your ass” written on it, that’s the saying, right? The only references I can find on Google to this phrase all revolve around this shirt design, maybe NerdyShirts just didn’t want to have a slightly naughty word on their shirt, or is there just a meme here that’s totally passed me by? That said, they have got the style spot on, so I’ve got to give them that.

I really like Old School, but do I like it enough to wear this shirt from NerdyShirts, that celebrates the fictional (right?) store that was proud to be the official sponsor of Mithc-A-Palooza? Costiness=$19.95 Buy it at NerdyShirts

That shoes tee from Step Brothers, you know the one.

Am I the only person wondering why Nerdy Shirts, purveyors of fine and funny tees that often border on the geeky side (just how I like ‘em), are releasing a tee that that references a movie that was released two years ago and I don’t remember it taking the world by storm, but hey, let’s [...]

I’m in my mid-20s, so obviously I think this tee is cool, but in my role as ‘Lord of all T-Shirts’, I must say that the simple aiport-sign-esque design style works pretty nicely as well, bravo Nerdy Shirts Costiness=$19.97 Buy it at Nerdy Shirts

Check out the Nerdy Shirt x Troundup Contest

Thumbnail image for Check out the Nerdy Shirt x Troundup Contest

It’s fair to say that I’m a fan of NerdyShirts, as far as the funy tee world goes, the nation of Nerdy Shirts probably has a seat on the UN Security Council (a little analogy for the international relations fans out there), and Troundup has always been one of the best tee blogs out there, [...]

Animal House College Sweater by NerdyShirts

December 4, 2009

Animal House was released in 1978 and I was born in 1984, so I probably don’t really appreciate this sweater as much as I could, but I get the reference, I like it, and that’s enough for me. Costiness=$19.97 Available from Nerdy Shirts

Hmmm…. what might this be?

February 20, 2009

NerdyShirts have got an interesting coupon code giveaway going on. On their blog they have placed a code that will give the first hundred users $10 off their order, the only catch is you need to find it first. It’s pretty easy to find, so it’s possible that all 100 coupons have gone already, but [...]

$4.99 T-shirts at Nerdy Shirts this week

January 28, 2009

Bit late on this one sorry, when I got back from the visa interview (approved!) it was pretty late, and then I had stuff to do today as you’d imagine, but $4.99 shirts need to be mentioned! The tees aren’t the latest available from Nerdy Shirts, and I think that the McCain/Milf ’08 tee probably [...]
