Batman Costume Hoodie from NerdyShirts

batman hoodie Batman Costume Hoodie from NerdyShirts

Okay, so this clearly isn’t as badass as anything from The Dark Knight, but I think that when you’re wearing a novelty/costume hoodie that you need it to be more than a little bit tongue in cheek, otherwise it’s just not going to work. The fact that this hoodie comes with a cape is pretty awesome, but it’s far more awesome that you can remove the cape for those frequent times when you don’t particularly feel like being continually mocked. You can also fold the mask into the hood, so whilst this hoodie looks as if it’s a bit of a joke initially, you can tone it down so that it’s still a bit of fun but is actually pretty wearable, good work NerdyShirts!

202 Star Wars T-Shirts [Lists]

star wars t shirts logo 202 Star Wars T Shirts [Lists]

I think that you’d be pretty hard pressed to find a series of movies that have gained as much of a following as Star Wars, and as you’d expect that has resulted in a huge amount of t-shirts being produced that reference the films in one way or another. So, being HYA, I thought that I’d better make an unnecessarily large list of them. As always, the t-shirts are not ranked, the numbers are merely there as an illustration so that we all know which is which, so being #1 or #202 means nothing. Some of these tees will be pretty recognisable as they’ve been featured on HYA before, and some were also in the 101 Robots List from last month, but if you know of any I haven’t featured then please let me know in the comments. The list has also been split up into pages to ensure swift loading times (my server may probably wouldn’t like people loading 202 pictures at a time).

As you would expect these lists take quite a long time (this one took about 30 hours, seriously), so if you deem it worthy, it would be fantastic if you could promote this article in any way. Twitter, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Digg, your own blog, carve the URL onto a tree, anything!

The Hangover by NerdyShirts

I know I’m pretty late posting this, but I think it’s a tee that’s funny whether you’ve seen the movie or not, so it’s topicality isn’t necessarily that important in this instance. For the record, I really enjoyed the film, it didn’t really raise a lot of belly laughs with me, but there were a lot of little chortles, though I did seem to be laughing at different times to everyone else in the cinema, which is probably because I ‘got’ the jokes which needed American knowledge, and it was really cool to reminisce about my few days in Vegas too. Unfortunately, with me being a bit late posting this, NerdyShirts are pretty limited in terms of sizes at the moment.

A new tee that’s apparently inspired by Bruno (and a coupon code) from Nerdy Shirts

gayby product 480x393 A new tee thats apparently inspired by Bruno (and a coupon code) from Nerdy Shirts

I haven’t been keeping too close of an eye on the new Bruno film (though I was apparently mere metres from him in Berlin without realising), so I don’t really understand what this tee means, I presume that “GayBy” is pronounced like “baby,” I can imagine someone saying that with an Austrian accent, but I can’t see myself wearing it. I’m sure everyone will be saying it in a few weeks…

One thing I like about Twitter (follow me, validate my self-worth!) is that it has resulted in there being a lot more coupon codes and flash sales occurring, and NerdyShirts are in on the act with a coupon that will get you 10% off ‘this week’ which is a pretty vague schedule since I got the DM at 2am GMT on Friday, so do they mean it expires on Sunday night, or that the code will run until next Friday? Would it be so hard to just put a date in the tweet?

101 Robot T-Shirts [Lists]

19.06.2009

With the release of what is almost certain to be the greatest movie of all time today in the UK and across the world over the next week, I thought it would be an excellent opportunity for me to hunt down some robot t-shirts, especially as the previous robot-themed lists have are two of Hide [...]

Last chance to buy this delightful Diablo 3 t-shirt

13.03.2009

Apparently the makers of Diablo 3, y’know, the people that own the copyright and intellectual property of the game, weren’t too happy about NerdyShirts making this design, so they’re going to have to stop selling it on Thursday (today, arrrgghhhh!), and I guess that they’ve had quite a few printed up that need shifting, because [...]

Hmmm…. what might this be?

20.02.2009

NerdyShirts have got an interesting coupon code giveaway going on. On their blog they have placed a code that will give the first hundred users $10 off their order, the only catch is you need to find it first. It’s pretty easy to find, so it’s possible that all 100 coupons have gone already, but [...]

A t-shirt to do with the Watchmen by NerdyShirts

17.02.2009

From what I understand, The Watchmen is basically the most important movie to ever be released ever, or am I misinterpreting hearing about it every 5 damned seconds on the internet? This t-shirt apparently has something to do with the movie, anyone care to enlighten me?
Also, NerdyShirts have a new site, a new blog, and [...]
