Answer: of course it does!

Highlights here in this sprawling, 21-minute (!!!) odyssey include a gaming-as-addiction montage (:38 seconds), a Pong tutorial from Jeff Bridges and Harry Dean Stanton (2:03), a three-piece tribute to Michael J. Fox (8:57), and a montage of digital dance offs (10:29)!

See a full list of the films as sequenced at YouTube.

Not a bad selection at Tshirt Laundry this week, even if I how no idea what the “Ketchup, Rubber Buns, and Liquor” thing is about.

Four new shirts at BustedTees this week

by Andy on November 9, 2012

Post image for Four new shirts at BustedTees this week

I’m just going to geek out over that Shining inspired shirt for a second. The image they’ve used for the graphic is actually of the Timberline Lodge in Oregon (where parts of the movie were filmed), but the actual inspiration for the film was The Stanley Hotel which is in Colorado (they have the film on a continuous loop on channel 42 in the guest rooms), I can’t decide which building they should have used on the tee, but it’s pretty cool either way. Solid week of design at BustedTees.

Post image for Mario, Luchadores, Hey Arnold and Bond, all new this week at BustedTees

Really strong week from the BustedTees crew, my favourite is definitely the ‘Head Arnold’ shirt with the outlines of Hey Arnold character’s heads.

funny nes zapper gun t-shirt

Another solid and funny design from Glennz as usual. I actually have a working zapper under my TV right now, I haven’t used it for years but I’m sure it scores me lots of geek points.

Costiness=$16.95 Buy it at Glennz

retro boy game boy t-shirt

If you think about it, the original Game Boy really was fantastic. It was released in the 80s (only just), and yet you were able to go outside and play games that were on cartridges the size of a cracker. That seems really easy now, but at the time it was revolutionary, and you were the coolest kid in school if you had a Game Boy. Since the GB has got me harking back to the glory days of green & black gaming it’s hardly surprising the Pixel Propaganda thought it would be a good idea to make a tee based on the pioneering hand-held gaming device.

Costiness=$20 Buy it at Pixel Propaganda Apparel

T-shirt news for March 26th

by Andy on March 26, 2012

I find it kind of odd that people would want to wear the mascot for an operating system, but this shirt from TeeFury ain’t too bad.

Shirt.Woot revamp the original cute cat poster.

I like The IT Crowd, I have a NES under my TV, and I like t-shirts. I like this from RIPT. Pretty sure I’ve written about this design in the past…

My favourite for the week at Tshirt Laundry is the Donkey Kond design, interesting to see a take on the character which isn’t 8-bit.

new shirts at Tshirt Laundry

Look guys, I found a new site that releases new shirts every week to write about on a regular basis, huzzah!

Tshirt Laundry have been in the pop culture tee game for a while now so they’ve got a pretty impressive back catalogue of shirts for people that like that kind of thing. This week they have released shirts on the themes of Battlestar Galactica, Zelda (the cave shirt), and what they’re calling a ‘minimalist version of the classic NES controller.’ All three shirts are $14 this week but will go up to $18 next week. They also have a selection of older designs available in their winter sale for $6, which is not very much at all to buy a t-shirt.

pokemon t-shirt

I hope you guys all enjoyed Christmas and the New Year, it was a great break for me not thinking about t-shirts (much) and enjoying guilt-free eating. Good luck to everyone in 2012!

TeeFury have a Pokemon t-shirt that I don’t understand.

RIPT drop a Harry Potter-insipred shirt.

Daily tees & News for December 21st

star wars firefly t-shirt

Star Wars meets Firefly in this design at TeeFury.

Trust Qwertee to bring out a shirt that is so British.

Shirt Punch put Darth Vader on a playing card and hot damn it looks good.

RIPT have a Star Wars x Wizard of Oz mashup.

Tuxedo Tees do have a bit of retro charm to them, and with this 8-bit version Shirt.Woot have given it an entirely different kind of retro charm.

Nowhere Bad have a fairly generic looking Mario shirt.

DBH really like lions, don’t they?

Loviu have laid a golden egg.

24tee have a slightly depressing meme shirt.

Tilteed give their ‘Joy Ride’ design another release.

RedBubble are offering 20% off all gift certificates for people that may have left it a little late with their Christmas gifts. Use the coupon code WEAREMAD20 to receive the discount.

PalmerCash still have 50% off their gift cards with the coupon code GIFTCARD, but their cut off point for delivering physical things is “12pm Eastern” today. I’m going to take that to mean midday, not midnight.

Threadbird think that now is a great time for store owners to restock their inventory for the New Year, and are offering 35c off per garment. Not a massive amount, but I’m sure no one would say know to a $35 saving on 100 tees.

80s movies t-shirt

Sorry about the intermittent service on HYA recently, our wireless router failed last week, I ordered another on rush delivery from Amazon and when it arrived it wouldn’t work, and our backup router is quite old and a little flakey which doesn’t help things. There is another router on the way from Amazon though, so hopefully all of this will be sorted out before I go on my traditional Christmas break.

Wow, there really were a lot of iconic movies released in 1985, cool shirt from TeeFury.

Harry Potter shirt at Qwertee.

android t-shirt

Good to see Android getting some love from TeeFury in what feels like an iPhone dominated world (I love my iPhone, but I also love my Android tablet, I’ve got the best of both worlds!).

Very nice from Qwertee today, it’s cool to see them stray away from references and into the art world. I’m going to look stupid if this is a pop culture shirt.

In spite of never seeing an episode of Supernatural I still like this shirt from RIPT.

BustedTees released 4 shirts last week

by Andy on December 6, 2011

Zelda t-shirt

A little later than usual, here’s my recap of BustedTees latest releases. Can anyone explain ‘Zelda is the girl’ to me, I feel like this might be some kind of meme that has passed me by.

I haven’t read the Hunger Games series so I can’t comment on this shirt, but it sure does look nice.

Ron Swanson and his love of bacon and eggs is sure getting a lot of attention in the t-shirt world recently.

I think that this might be the tamest Walking Dead shirt I’ve ever seen. I haven’t seen a lot of them, but when I have, it doesn’t look like someone spilled a bit of ketchup on a tee.

boardwalk empire t-shirt

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I did, during my snowboarding lesson at the dry slope it started to snow!

I can’t be the only person that feels kind of scared when this guy comes on screen during Boardwalk Empire, right? Definitely some fine acting going on there. TeeFury.

RIPT have a shirt that I’m sure will not anger any Star Wars or Star Trek fans.

Qwertee have dropped a Shining/Joker shirt for Jack Nicholson fans.

Daily Tees & News for December 1st

by Andy on December 1, 2011

teefury reported attack page

Welcome to December. Naturally a lot of brands will be focusing on making sales during the run up to Christmas, and I suspect we’ll see a lot of coupon codes and discounts revolving around that, so the news portion of these roundups will likely grow. These roundups do take quite a lot of time, so if you like it, share it please!

When I try to visit TeeFury Firefox comes up with this. Now, I am 100% confident that Teefury has not been an elaborate phishing scam from the beginning, but after checking out their Facebook page it seems a lot of people have also had this message come up, so I feel that their site may have been compromised in some way. This happened to HYA once and it was hell getting it fixed as someone that doesn’t have much technical expertise, hopefully they will have it sorted soon and it doesn’t cause too many headaches, but I recommend anyone who has visited in the past few days to run a virus scan. There has been no response that I can see from Teefury as of yet.

Quite a clever shirt from Qwertee today, showing fictional books based on movies such as Ghostbusters and Back To The Future.

There’s a lot of excitement over at RIPT for this Star Wars x Transformers mashup.
