T-shirt news for March 14th

sherlock holmes t-shirt

Fair to say that this Sherlock t-shirt at TeeFury is going to do quite well, they’ve already given it the pancakes symbol.

I can relate to that, right guys? Shirt.Woot.

I think that this might be one of my favourite parody t-shirts for a long time, good work RIPT.

Firefly continues to be popular with tee fans at Qwertee.

Very nice Star Wars t-shirt at Shirt Punch.

Nirvana’s Nevermind meets Friday the 13th in this shirt at Nowhere Bad.

This isn’t a split colour shirt of Pokemon characters at The Yetee, it’s a design available in red or blue, and every order comes with a ‘Yeteemon’ sticker.

OtherTees have a shirt of Lost quotes. I watched the first episode of Alcatraz last night, I liked it, and I liked the way the soundtrack was very similar to Lost.

Hey man, I think you’ve got something in your beard.

I haven’t seen the film “Blood in blood out – bound by honor” so I have no idea what this shirt at 24tee is about.

This latest shirt from DBH is fairly high on the badass scale.

Another oldie-but-goodie at Tilteed.

Made in the Now cover the story of bloodhounds being used in the Congo to help fight elephant poaching.

Monsieur Steve is offering 15€ off your order when you spend 75€ or more with the coupon code LOVE.

GhostWar Clothing are having a March Madness sale until March 16th with all tees $15 and tank tops/v-necks $20. [via IATT]

SS12 Obey has dropped at Urban Industry.

Girl wears t-shirt saying ‘all the cool girls are lesbians’ on it to school (which ,ay or may not be the astoundingly uncool shirt above), school thinks it might be a little inflammatory and asks her to cover it up, predictable storm of media attention follows.

Tee and Toast might think about cats a bit too much.

These vintage style camera necklaces are available in the Rigu store now.

Glamour Kills logo shirts are now available in a wider range of colours.

25% – 50% off select St. Patrick’s Day Merchandise. Go green with hoodies, tees, accessories and more! Offer ends March 17th.

Who would have thought that Walmart would have stocked this “trek yourself before you wreck yourself” t-shirt?
I’ve received word that this design is a rip of a Tshirt Bordello shirt that has been around for 18+ months.

New Rebel8 has hit Street Casuals.

Here’s a cute dog wearing a polo shirt.

cookie monster t-shirt

Again with the Muppets at TeeFury!

Not for me at Shirt.Woot today, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

Not sure if I’d wear this shirt just because it’s on white, but I certainly to like this Walking Dead design at RIPT.

Daily T-shirt News Roundup for January 13th

by Andy on January 13, 2012

exorcist rolling stones t-shirt

This shirt at TeeFury is a mashup of The Exorcist and the Rolling Stones, which is pretty appropriate for Friday the 13th, it’s almost like they planned it!

I’m fairly sure that I’ve seen this Firefly shirt somewhere else before it docked at Qwertee.

Shirt.Woot have the kind of shirt I would put on a level with Three Wolf Moon, except with no ironic redemption.

RIPT are getting into the Hobbit spirit a little early.

TeeMinus24 must have been watching LOTR too.

This 24tee shirt doesn’t really work with my British mind.

One for the Star Wars fans at TeeRaiders.

An Ozzy Osbourne/Iron Man parody for you today at Shirt Punch.

Now that’s an angry bear at DBH (who I notice have made a few little tweaks to their homepage).

Loviu are doing mystery tees for 7€ from now until the end of the month. The text says “order 3 mystery tees only 7 euros each” but I think that three is the maximum for one transaction, not the minimum, as I was able to add one tee to the cart when I gave it at go.

BustedTees have got their Hunger Games t-shirt on sale for $11.99 instead of $20 for the rest of today.

Hey look, Tilteed, are selling ‘Expansion II’ again.

Details of Graniph‘s design award have been announced. Submissions open on February 1st, and the top prize is 500,000 yen, which is probably a lot of money.

Graniph are also having their winter sale at the moment, loads of goods marked down by as much as 50%.

Kid Robot have a decent sale on, with 50% off all of last year’s designs.

The first of Obey’s Spring 2012 line has dropped at Urban Industry.

I think that only a mother could love these (recently restocked) barcode hoodies at Methods NYC, but the coupon code of BRICK getting you 25% off your order on anything in the store until tomorrow at midnight (EST, presumably) is a lot more tantalising.

Taken Clothing have got everything on sale for $20 until January 17th. I’m not sure how much things cost before the sale, but presumably it was more than $20.

Get 13% off your order at Trust No One with the coupon code UNLUCKYFORSOME until 9am tomorrow UK time.

Own the Night Clothing have a sale on until midnight UK time. [via TTG]

obey t-shirt street casuals This news is not new, but it’s still worth mentioning. Street Casuals, who seems to get bigger by the minute, added some classic Obey t-shirts to their lineup recently. Well, I say classic, a lot of their designs have a ‘classic’ look about them since they stick so rigidly to their style of design.

Downtown LA by Obey at Karmaloop

by Andy on September 9, 2009

downtown la womens tee by obey JOTBDLA-DCHAzoom2

How long has it been since I mentioned something from Karmaloop? Obviously, we could find that out pretty easy with a search, or the Karmaloop categorym or just clicking on the Karmaloop tag at the bottom of this post, but that would ruin my rhetorical question pointing out how long it had been since I mentioned the streetwear powerhouse. Ahhh, overanalysing stuff never ruins it.

Seriously, how ridiculously large is L.A. and how hard is it to get around when you don’t have a car? And how much do you get burned when you walk around LA without sunscreen on for a day? The answer to all those questions, as I found when I was there, is a lot.

This is one of those hoodies that isn’t necessarily a show-stopper, people aren’t going to be amazed by it, but at the same time I can’t imagine finding anyone that didn’t like it. I guess you could almost call it boring, but I’d like think of it more as being ‘restrained’.

A Long List of T-Shirt Sales & Deals… again

by Andy on December 12, 2008

PICT1080 (Large)

[This picture is just to prove that I do leave the house sometimes and don’t just blog about clothes] You’d have thought that Black Friday would have been the high point for sales, but I think my inbox has actually been seeing more hot sale action than ever before over the past week or so. If I wrote a post about every deal I think I’d still be writing about them after Christmas, so instead of that, what follows will be an orgy of savings.

  • Random Shirts: They’ve marked all their regular tees down to $8 until Christmas, I think the discount gets added to your cart once you start the checkout process.
  • The Cotton Factory: This deal ends tonight at midnight (unknown timezone), use the coupon code REVENGEOFHOLIDAZE and you’ll get 10% off your order
  • Urban Retro: Up until Wednesday December 18th you can get 20% off clothes at UR by using the coupon code FASHION20.
  • XLarge: Get 10% off at XLarge by using the coupon code iheartxl. Unknown end date, all their hats seem to be 20% off at the moment too.
  • Spicy Brown: If you’re in the mood for some Japanese-inspired designs and want 25% off them, use the coupon code holiday08 before December 19th and you’ll get just that. Also, free shipping on order over $75.
  • Bean Dip Clothing: The BD crew are offering free shipping, presumably until Christmas, as it is their holiday offer.
  • Social-T: A t-shirt subscription makes a pretty good gift (a random, limited edition tee sent to you every month), and if you sign up now you get a free trucker hat.
  • ThinkGeek: This one is more than just tees, but TG are pretty much a one-stop shop for buying gifts for the special nerd in your life. Up until December 14th, you can get free shipping (in the continental U.S.) when you spend more than $40, by using the coupon code SHIPFREE.
  • Amorphia / Wear Science! / Teach the Controversy: Get 20% off at all three of those stores by using the coupon code AMORPHIAROCKS before December 15th. There’s also a few new designs at Science! that you’ll want to check out.
  • PleaseDressMe x BustedTees: These two have teamed up to offer you a selection of Busted Tees, uhh, tees for the low, low price of $7.77, which is $4.23 cheaper than the tees on their own sale page!
  • 80s Purple: They’ve knocked 30% off their entire range of Obey Clothing, get in the action by using the coupon code OBEYME before December 15th.
  • Mustache & Friends: Get 20% off your order in their mustache-based store by using the coupon code apmustache, I’m not sure when this one ends.
  • Oath Threadline: Get 20% off your order at OT by using the coupon code apoath, I’d tell you when this deal ends, but I simply do not know.
  • Threadless: In addition to their current sale of $5, $10 and $15 tees, you’ll get free shipping ($7 off for international customers) when you spend $50 or more.
  • The Urban Shop: They have reduced the prices of everything in stock, with discounts of up to 60%.
  • Methods NYC: They’ve got a sale going on with up to 50% off some items.
  • AMP Street: There’s 25% off everything in store at this European streetwear store.
  • AAITSKI: They have a sliding sale, the more you buy, the more you save. Buy 1 tee and get 10% off, buy 2 and get 20% off, buy 3 or more and you’ll receive 30% off the cost of your tees.

    Karmaloop & Obey’s Obama Contest

by Andy on November 14, 2008

In case you hadn’t heard Barack Obama is going to be the next President of the United States, and to celebrate that Karmaloop and Obey have teamed up to give away one of Sheperd Fairey’s iconic ‘Hope’ posters. This isn’t any ordinary poster though, it has been signed by Sheperd Fairey himself, which is pretty cool.

All you have to do to enter is submit your e-mail address, which is even easier than one of my competitions! It would appear that the contest is only open to people that live in the US (boo hoo!).

If you’re still in the mood for Obama tees then Karmaloop still have a wide range available.

Boddington coat by Obey at 80s Purple

by Andy on November 5, 2008

I’ve turned into a big fan of Obey ever since I bought one of their coats in Hong Kong back in February (which I near-inexplicably haven’t posted here). They’re reasonably priced, high quality, well cut, and just look generally damn good, as the coat above attests. I can almost guarantee that it’ll keep you warm in winter too, I know my one certainly does.

    Autumns over in Australia!

by Andy on September 16, 2008

I’d really like to pat myself on the back for such a great post title, bravo me, bravo Andy, you devilishly handsome man.

See, the reason why that title is so awesome is because Autumns is the name of a web store in Australia that sell great brands like Beautiful/Decay, Obey, People Like Us, and Tank Theory. Autumn is also a season (you Americans call it ‘Fall’ for what I presume is a dumb reason… oh), and since its actually Spring in Australia, clearly Autumn is over in Australia. I guess you could also say that Autumn hasn’t been yet, but that would make my post title seem less awesome, so stop ruining my fun you over-thinker!

Autumns have only been around since early August, so if any of you Aussies haven’t checked them out yet, head on over, because I’ve heard that you can sometimes struggle to get stuff shipped over to you with some online stores in the US and hopefully Autumns can help you with that problem.

*In the comments Cameron from Autumns has generously offered us a coupon code that will get you 10% off your order. The coupon code is hideyourcoupon.

The 11th Hour by Obey at Karmaloop

by Andy on August 15, 2008

Gee, I haven’t posted anything from Karmaloop, have I?

Just from the name of the design it may be the case that a lot of you know what this tee is all about… the environment. Obey seem to be fairly involved with the 11th Hour Action group, the same group that brought us the Leonardo DiCaprio fronted The 11th Hour documentary last year, and this tee seems to be their way of promoting the group and the values that it represents.

Of course, the design is classic Shepard Fairey, although I would point out that the hands on the clock don’t actually seem to be pointing at 11 o’clock.

The Totally Radical white t-shirt by Obey @ Karmaloop

I once tried to bring back some words from the 80s into the regular chatter of my circle friends a while back, but it turns out that saying ‘radical’ when you mean that something was ‘good’ wasn’t a radical idea back then and it still isn’t particularly radical. Needless to say, I failed in my mission.

The Blair Jacket by Obey @ Karmaloop

by Andy on March 12, 2008

Now this, this looks pretty badass. Kinda looks like leather (actually ‘coated cotton’), has a rock ‘n roll side-zip, and a big flared collar that gives it a bit of a hard-boiled private detective vibe. Tying the straps at the bottom into a bow do bring back a sense of femininity to the occasion though!

Mujer Fatale by Obey @ Karmaloop

by Andy on February 21, 2008

Mujer Fatale by Obey @ Karmaloop

Again with the black and white prints, I guess that since they’re starting to fill up my wardrobe it just makes sense that they’d start to fill up the blog!I don’t speak much Spanish (un cerveza, por favor!), but i think that ‘mujer fatale’ might be the Spanish equivalent of ‘femme fatale’ (or not, something to do with context apparently), which kinda explains the image… a hot woman that would probably rip your nuts off if you looked at her wrong.

I’m not to keen on the ‘peace’ text, it seems as if its just been chucked in there for little reason, but I do really like the way that they’ve worked the Obey logo into the scarf.

Paper Cut by Obey @ Karmaloop

by Andy on February 4, 2008

We all know that Obey are on top of the tree when it comes to streetwear (well, hanging out in the top branches at the very least), and this all-over print is a good example of that. There’s a lot going on, and yet it doesn’t feel all that jarring on the eye, which is something I often find with all-over prints. The three repeating emblems look pretty badass, too.Costiness=$43.99 Link

    Rewind by Obey @ Karmaloop

by Andy on January 22, 2008

Rewind track jacket by Obey @ Karmaloop
Just a thought; does anyone make mixtapes for anyone nowadays? Mixtapes on cassettes? Everyone did that. CDs? Yup, and you could even make your own album art too. MP3s? Not so much. Does anyone remember romance?

Obey have a pretty good view from the top of the mountain when it comes to the streetwear world, and with good reason. I like the way that the print happily bounds across the zipper, and the black sits well on top of the heather grey, and I’m always a fan of a funnel neck on a track jacket. I’m not so sure about the bits on top of the shoulders though, what are they called? I get the feeling its something to do with flying or pilots?
