owls

1. “The Girl Who Waited” is an interesting design because it occupies both the #1 and #2 design at RedBubble this week, as it is a collaboration between the frequently posted Megan Lara and the less frequented posted Harry Gordon, who have both posted the design on their respective accounts. So you can buy it from Megan or Harry, your choice.

2. “Workaholics – DEMAMP CAMP” is probably something to do with a movie I haven’t seen.

3. “Owl” is probably the worst t-shirt that I’ve ever seen in the top 10, it is just awful… but I suspect this is another case of people using RedBubble as a printing service for some kind of of event. Even so…

4. “Vintage Michelangelo” – Fair play to harebrained, this is nice work and I’m sure we’ll be seeing it at the daily sites soon.

5. “Dark Types – Faint Attacks” – Good thing that Kari Fry tagged this shirt otherwise I wouldn’t have known that it was something to do with Pokemon.

6. “YOU ONLY YOLO ONCE – Workaholics” – This must be another reference to the movie Workaholics, otherwise this design needs to burn in a fiery pit.

7. “LNK” – Drew Wise drops a nice Game Boy design.

8. “Flatbush Zombies” – This is an unofficial design for a hip hop crew that I’ve never heard of because I’m not cool.

9. “Flight Club (Galaxy)” – It was about damn time that we had a Flight of the Navigators tee.

10. “Push My Buttons” – This picture swept the internet recently with it’s combination of laughter and boobs (yeah, now you clicked the link), so this guy is cashing in on that with a keyboard design.

hunger games t-shirt

Hunger Games shirt at TeeFury today (FYI, the epic Hunger Games list took a battering by takedown requests at RedBubble).

The Ministry of Silly Walks makes an appearance at Shirt.Woot.

Bioshock meets Disney at RIPT today. Does anyone know if there’s a particular reason why Disney has been picked for this mashup?

Fans of the SyFy show ‘Warehouse 13′ will be quite excited by this design at TeeFury.

Funnily enough I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Terminator-themed boomerang t-shirt before, well done to Shirt.Woot for introducing me to something new.

An adorable organic Doctor Who Dalek at RIPT today.

star wars argyle t-shirt

Very nice argyle Star Wars t-shirt today at TeeFury.

Seems to me like this is the kind of design that Shirt.Woot should have been selling in the run up to Christmas.

RIPT drop a Milton Glaser-inspired Doctor Who t-shirt.

Harry Potter Muggle Ale shirt at Qwertee.

Those troublesome Tribbles are at Shirt Punch today.

Skyrim is the inspiration for this Nowhere Bad shirt.

I have no idea what the inspiration is for this design at The Yetee.

Star Wars meets Firefly today at OtherTees (who have a snazzy new site).

TeeRaiders have a Doctor Who design as well.

24tee go for the niche with one of the stars of the (surprisingly enthralling) King of Kong coin-op games documentary.

DBH love owls. On that subject, I saw a man walking down the street with an owl yesterday. Owls are great.

Hey look, Tilteed are selling one of their lesser seen designs again.

I have no idea what the kanji (presuming it’s Japanese) on this shirt says, so buyer beware at TeeMinus24.

Tee Gazette have put together their 10 favourite tees from the Storenvy marketplace for January.

Sock Monkee have released their Ampertastic Mr. Fox design as a print.

Adam over at IAMTHETREND busts six commonly held myths about his employer Storenvy.

Wrongwroks have released a parka with a faux fur trim.

Threadless have made some tees available to be put on Xbox avatars, and they cost about $1 each, but here’s the real kicker, if you want a hoodie you have to pay $2. They’re pixels, just because it costs double in real life doesn’t mean that they should cost double on the Xbox marketplace!

Glennz has made some more designs available as hoodies.

Mashable have a guide to building a strong online community around your brand.

Everything is on sale at Myth Clothing.

This Rihanna ‘thug life’ tattoo picture has been doing the rounds, but it’s her John Lennon t-shirt that interests me the most.

Here’s Katy Perry wearing a pretty cool hoodie (and I suspect a cool skull-based all over print t-shirt too).

Buy one get one free (on tees, not hoodies) at Eleven Eleven.

Typography Shop have put all their hoodies on sale.

Sehubabe have released a hoodie and t-shirt for Transardentes 2012 (a Belgian electro rock festival).

TanDan have been added as a brand store at A Better Tomorrow.

Daily Tees & News for January 5th

frogger t-shirt

Not often you see a Frogger design, and especially not one this not, good work TeeFury.

One of my favourite designs from RIPT for a while, several pop culture doctors (including a few from Doctor Who) forced into glass jars, Futurama-style.

Cool Muppet design at Shirt.Woot today.

The Yetee have more video game characters than you can shake a stick at on this shirt.

Clever shirt from 24tee today creating the T.A.R.D.I.S out of the names of every companion the Doctor has had.

Slave Leia gets turned into a mudflap girl for this Shirt Punch design. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there that would buy these as actual mudflaps.

Qwertee don’t love New York, but they definitely like it.

I’ll buy this shirt… when pigs fly! Stupidhurts.us.

Who doesn’t like owls? I for one am something of a fan, and apparently DBH are too.

Hmmm, I’m fairly sure that BustedTees didn’t come up with the artwork on this t-shirt… still, it’s $13.99 in their daily deal instead of $20.

It’s nice to see Tilteed rolling out some of their lesser seen designs for a change, things were getting a bit samey.

‘Colourful chords’ makes a reappearance at Loviu.

Catch of the Day Tee haven’t had anything on their site all week, hopefully they’re just taking an extended break for the holidays.

laFraise are offering free shipping when you buy two or more t-shirts with the coupon code SHIPFREE2012 until midnight on Sunday.

All Mighty have put all their Christmas goods on 50% off clearance for all y’all that want to get a head start on next year’s goodies.

ThinkGeek have a big sale on a the moment, and you can get $10 off when you spend $50 or more with the coupon code RAWKING until midnight tomorrow (ET).

Lead & Light are running a Tumblr contest to win a shirt (and not necessarily the one above, either), all you have to do to enter is reblog the post I just linked to.

Shrimp Sauce have released a lookbook video for their latest release.

night of the living dead t-shirt

This TeeFury shirt has everything, horror, a movie parody, 80s games, 8-bit, and lots of criticism in their comments about the head looking pasted on!

Not often you see an orange shirt, usually it only happens when Tilteed pull this design out of the closet.

This Shirt.Woot design is simple but I like it. I’ve never ordered anything from Shirt.Woot, what are their delivery times like? Any chance you’ll be able to wear this before Egg Nog season is over?

Daily Tees & News for December 12th

breaking bad t-shirt

Everyone have a good weekend? I did until last night when I had a nasty fall during my snowboarding lesson at the dry slope. Fell on my front, my jakcet rode up and my stomach turned into ‘brakes’, my tummy new resembles those crisps that are meant to look like streaky bacon, oh, the pain!

I really want to get into Breaking Bad, but after a couple of episodes of the first season it was just too depressing so I stopped, I will probably try again though. Shirt is $10 today at TeeFury.

I haven’t read Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, but apparently this Qwertee shirt has something to do with it.

Apparently this RIPT tee is something to do with a cartoon show that may or may not be on TV anymore but to be completely honest I don’t recognise it and no one mentions it in the RIPT comments, your suggestions please!

And what band is this Owl at Shirt.Woot listening to? The Who, of course!

Pretty rare that you see a Gremlins tee, but this is a lovely example of the breed at The Yetee.

Seinfeld Festivus shirt over at TeeMinus24. Funny how you don’t hear much about Christmukkah nowadays.

I haven’t seen Donnie Darko so this shirt at OtherTees may or may not be genius.

You want an Angry Birds t-shirt? 24tee have got it!

A melting Portal companion cube greets us today at TeeRaiders.

I really like this Star Wars design at Graphic Lab, but I do question the black on dark grey colour choice. Then again, it would probably look a bit naff if it was on a white t-shirt.

Ahhh, one of my favourite Loviu designs.

Pikachu gets an outing on this Shirt Punch design.

Tshirt Contest ensure that we have at least one Doctor Who t-shirt today, thank goodness.

Very nice shirt of the day at DBH.

BustedTees deal of the next couple of days is their attachment that you put on a beer to make it look like you have a mustache. Presumably it’s like those little win trinkets people buy so that you know who’s wine glass belongs to who, except for beer. $8.99 for 6 instead of $11.99

Expansion II comes out to play once again at Tilteed.

Tee Mashups is a site I found out about at the weekend that offers designs on sale for 48 hours. Today and tomorrow they have a Dick Tracey vs Carmen Sandiego shirt available.

Megan Fox may be a very attractive lady, and that’s a pretty cool sweatshirt, but I will never understand why people wear stuff that looks like it has spent a few months with a bunch of moths.

Wrongwroks have added hiking boots to their product range, of course.

There’s 25% off everything today only at Loserkids.

Mashable have a good resource for increasing Facebook engagement through custom tabs that should be useful for store owners.

Yes No Maybe have a few coupon codes available. The more you spend the more you save, all the way up to 20% off.

Original Music Shirt, who I still think took a lot of inspiration from Threadless with their redesign, are offering free global shipping with the coupon code ILIKETOMOVEIT if you spend 25€+ before December 14th.

Springleap are holding a contest that is only open to previous design winners, which should make for some pretty tasty entries.

OMUNKY are offering 18% off from now until December 19th with the coupon code 18off2011.

PalmerCash are now selling shirts, the kind with buttons!

The Quiet Life are running a holiday promo, if you spend $100 or more they’ll give you a free duffel bag that they usuall charge $40 for. It would be perfect for carrying around your gym gear since that will inevitably be your new years resolution. Go to the gym more dammit Andy! They’ve also restocked their hat selection.

Terratag are knocking 10% off all orders. No coupon necessary, the discount will automatically be applied at the checkout.

Whilst I do like the idea of ‘ugly’ Christmas tees I think that this Kickstarter project might be a bit too late, it won’t be funded (if it reaches 100%) until January 9th, and then when will you receive the shirt? I’m pretty sure everyone’s Christmas cheer will be long gone by that time.

Daily Tees & News for December 1st

teefury reported attack page

Welcome to December. Naturally a lot of brands will be focusing on making sales during the run up to Christmas, and I suspect we’ll see a lot of coupon codes and discounts revolving around that, so the news portion of these roundups will likely grow. These roundups do take quite a lot of time, so if you like it, share it please!

When I try to visit TeeFury Firefox comes up with this. Now, I am 100% confident that Teefury has not been an elaborate phishing scam from the beginning, but after checking out their Facebook page it seems a lot of people have also had this message come up, so I feel that their site may have been compromised in some way. This happened to HYA once and it was hell getting it fixed as someone that doesn’t have much technical expertise, hopefully they will have it sorted soon and it doesn’t cause too many headaches, but I recommend anyone who has visited in the past few days to run a virus scan. There has been no response that I can see from Teefury as of yet.

Quite a clever shirt from Qwertee today, showing fictional books based on movies such as Ghostbusters and Back To The Future.

There’s a lot of excitement over at RIPT for this Star Wars x Transformers mashup.

Daily Tee & News Roundup October 28th

by Andy on October 28, 2011

panda astronaut t-shirt

Very nice Panda/astronaut t-shirt from TeeFury today.

Another oldie-but-goodie from Greg Abbott at Tilteed today, it’s a really lovely design.

Weren’t you always a little disappointed when you had to play as Luigi? Stupidhurts.us

Hahaha, silly owl. Shirt.Woot

Nice tribute to A Clockwork Orange at RIPT today.

If a single one of you gets the reference on this TeeMinus24 design I will be amazed.

Fairly creepy looking Doctor Who design at OtherTees today.

24tee bring us a classic Halloween design.

I didn’t like this Donald Duck shirt when Loviu first released it, and on the second viewing my opinion has not changed.

I have no clue what is going on in this Catch of the Day Tee shirt.

Nice Doctor Who design from Shirt Punch, I think it’s fair to say those guys have had a pretty decent first week.

I stumbled upon this fantastic tutorial by Natalie Jost detailing several ways that you can customize your Big Cartel store to give it features which you would usually expect to see in a standalone ecommerce solution.

Sturban are offering free delivery in the UK on all orders until the end of the month.

BustedTees have put all their fall releases on sale for $14 a piece until noon (EST) on October 31st.

Dephect are offering 25% off all their tees with the coupon code HALLOWEEN11 until November 3rd.

I’ve never heard of Kii Arens before, but their shirts are on Fab.com now, $19.50 down from $35, and they’re looking mighty fine.

Digital Gravel have knocked 50% off everything, which is pretty huge, all you have to do is use the coupon code THX2011, the infographic says 3 days, but it’s now more like two and a half.

T-Post, the Swedish t-shirt subscription service, are going to stop using a wholesale blank (I’m fairly sure they were using American Apparel) and produce their own shirts, and they want feedback from you to help make it ‘the best t-shirt the world has ever seen.’

That above is a relaunch teaser for PPRHRT, I was unaware that they were in need of a relaunch but there you go, like their Facebook page to keep up to date with their relaunch progress.

A reminder that Urban Industry‘s big Halloween sale is ongoing.

PLNDR are giving away a $250 gift pack from Breezy Excursion, who I’ve never heard of so I presume that means they’re popular.

hypnowl t-shirt at a better tomorrow

I see this shirt and all I can think is:

ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD

Costiness=€22 (early bird price) Buy it at A Better Tomorrow

organic owl t-shirt

I’m probably asking a bit much here, but wouldn’t it be cool if the moon on this design was printed with glow-in-the-dark ink? That said, OMUNKY is an organic brand, and I can’t imagine glowing ink to be particularly good for the environment, though if any printers are reading I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

Costiness=$18 Buy it at Omunky
